THE INN Downtown - Superior King Studio Apartment

The Inn Downtown is Portsmouth, NH’s first boutique apart-hotel of its kind. We offer ten modern studio apartments for the independent traveler. Housed in a newly-renovated, historic 1809 home in the heart of downtown, our guest studios feature fully equipped kitchenettes and access to laundry. We are right in the middle of all that Portsmouth has to offer. This studio offers one king bed and can occupy 2 persons + 1 infant max.
Private, 500 sq/ft studio apartment with one king bed, ensuite bathroom with tub, kitchenette (no stove), and access to complimentary washer/dryer. This apartment is NOT pet friendly. DISCLAIMER, PLEASE READ: When you book through VRBO you will pay: a service fee to VRBO, $29/night to park your vehicle, and a one time $50 cleaning fee. Loved this space

Came to stay in Portsmouth while working remote a few days and this place was great for being able to work as well close to coffee and food.

Lovely stay

The property was historic and charming and in a great downtown location. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean and had a wonderful boutique feel. The check in process was also very easy. Can’t wait to return! Would definitely stay here again!

it was absolutely beautiful very clean, walking distance to pier and beach is straight down the road. with this being my first time booking through VRBO there was great communication we can’t wait to go back next february

Awesome downtown stay!

I can’t recommend The Hills any higher! We loved the studio, the surroundings and all that downtown had to offer. Once we parked there was no need for our car since parking in The Hill lot was complimentary. Lots to do and can’t wait to come back. The Hills is our new fav. place to stay on Portsmouth!

Post Christmas Stay

My husband and I were stranded at home after Southwest “crashed” our Christmas plans with family in KC. Thankfully everything with our stay in Portsmouth went very smoothly. The room was exactly as pictured and very clean and quiet. We walked to restaurants and shops and had a great night listening to jazz at The Press Room. Thank you for helping us do our best to cheer ourselves up with a fantastic stay!

Great location

Our stay here was very pleasant. You can’t beat the location!!!! Noise is an issue there but they provide a sound machine. (Which I appreciated) One unfortunate thing happened. There was an opened Evian water in the fridge and my husband thought it was mine and drank from it. It was not mine and was left over from a previous person. Pretty gross!!!!! Other than that, it’s very nice there and I loved how the provide a collection of wine and snacks. And you really can’t beat the location!

Relaxing trip

Apartment was great! Centrally located to restaurants and shopping in quiet area. Parked the car and walked everywhere for the two days we were there. Apartment was clean and had amenities we needed for a 2 day stay. Will definitely come back.

Very lovely apartment-style stay

Hit all the right notes

We really appreciated the minimal face to face contact during the pandemic. The room was exactly as advertised and very clean and comfortable. The finishes felt modern and warm and matched the aesthetic of the historic property. We enjoyed being walking distance from everything we wanted to check out downtown. The check in/out process was straightforward and painless. Thanks for a great experience; we hope to come again!

Beautiful room and great location !!

I loved everything about The INN!! Very modern and clean. The location was perfect .We enjoyed being able to walk to shops, coffee, restaurants and bars. The room was cozy and relaxing. It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again when we go back.
