La vue - Sleat

Pour des lever de soleil spectaculaires sur le son de Sleat en Ecosse, depuis votre salon.
Le niveau d'hébergement est exceptionnel et l'intimité de l'endroit doit être commentée.
Le plafond voûté est un réel plaisir. Ainsi, lorsque vous vous réveillez de la chambre à coucher à l'étage supérieur, vous pouvez vous rendre sur la mezzanine et regarder par les fenêtres pleine hauteur du pignon de la maison.
Installez-vous confortablement devant le feu de bois dans le salon du rez-de-chaussée avec des tapis en peau de mouton et détendez-vous avec votre bouteille de vin offerte.
Promenez-vous dans le jardin et prenez l'air en observant la faune et en ressentant une partie de votre environnement.
L'énergie électrique du View provient d'une pompe à chaleur géothermique et comprend une série de panneaux solaires qui alimentent le réseau. Vous savez donc que celui-ci a été conçu dans le respect de l'environnement.
VEUILLEZ NOTER: Nous n'acceptons pas les enfants de moins de 12 ans car le long jardin qui mène à la vue se termine par une falaise donnant sur la mer. La prudence est recommandée et des panneaux d'avertissement sont en place.

Great location, inaccurate location on listing

Had a great stay at this property! A few things to note: The listing says Sleat. It is not in that location, the house is between Sligachan and Drynoch but that is not reflected on the apple map link that was sent 3 days before check in nor this VRBO listing so I booked tours and reservations based on the map pin (which I later had to modify). The google map link had the correct location.On our way to the house, I called to ask what the nearest grocery store was and when I explained that we were renting in Sleat the woman said "we dont have any houses there" but I explained I was reading directly off the description from the house. She was not very friendly or helpful via phone.I also sent the driving directions to the driving tour I booked, who is local, and he also had issues locating the house. The house itself was a great stay! Beautiful views and a great nearby hike to Bruach Na Frithe.

Excellent holiday spot!! A must book at Isle of Skye!!

Excellent property, exactly as mentioned on the ad. The hosts were very efficient and responded in a timely manner. Lisa was very patient and responded immediately for any help at the property. And the maintenance team- James was excellent. Loved the ambience and the views from the property. Definitely will book again if we are to ever visit Isle of Skye again.

A great destination

Its all about the name "The View"

The name says it all, what a view. The View is centrally located and allows you to see the other locations on the isle. The house is in an isolated area but the are two restaurants within a short distance. There is a grocery store within a 10 minute ride. Of the 6 different places we stated in Scotland over our 14 day trip, we loved this one the best.

Highlight Unterkunft für uns in Schottland! Sicher nicht günstig, aber jeden Cent Wert, wenn man mit der schönsten Aussicht entspannen will. Wir waren leider nur drei Tage hier, weil frühzeitig alles schon ausgebucht war. Tipp: Wir hätten hier gut 10 Tage verbringen können und von hier aus mit Tagestouren die Westküste erkunden können!!!! Alles top! Kommen 100%tig wieder!

Perfect location. Perfect accommodation.

The View was the perfect place to stay as it offered the perfect view! I As if that was not enough, the villa was very comfortable and welcoming with all amenities thought of and provided for. It was immaculate and well furnished. The ambience was so appealing, we almost didn’t feel like going for any sightseeing!

Perfect!

Just perfect! Stayed here as part of family road trip in scotland. I real home feeling. Words can describe how comfortable, enjoable and relaxing was our stay here. The only problem is that is so inviting its hard to go out and explore the rest of skye. Wish we had few more days here

Magical experience

The architectural design of The View perfectly captures its natural setting. The interior design creates a sense of space & Comfortcwith magical views from.most windows. We would hi ghlyrecommend The View to anyone considering a vrbo get away on Skye

The View

The house is exceptional in it’s design & position. The quality of the living space is 5 star and perfectly complimented by magical views across the waters and the mountains beyond. If there is a better house position on Skye I would love to know.

Magical place

This place is amazing. The views are breathtaking from every part of the property. It has everything you would ever need and they have thought of providing the smallest of things like the kindling to light the fire. It has to be one of the best properties on the island and we would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. We can’t fault it and didn’t want to leave. Thank you for the bottle of wine which we enjoyed relaxing and taking in the beautiful landscapes. We will be back again!!

First class accommodation

Well, what can we say about The View? There aren’t enough superlatives to describe it! The whole house is so beautifully done, with everything you could possibly need. The house is well named as the panoramic views from the massive windows are incredible. We were privileged to share this lovely place with ‘Martin’ the pine marten who lives nearby. If the property was a car it would be a Rolls Royce . Can’t wait to go back!

The View - What a relaxing place

Overview: Such a beautiful place. You can calm down and enjoy the View - or even better - your life. It is located a little bit off the track of the typical skye tourist routes, but everything on skye is still reachable and grocery shopping and petrol station is in the next town. House: it is really comfy and nicely decorated. The only issue I had were some real fur carpets which had collected quite an amount of lint and long dark hair when I tried to remove them. This is why we gave 4 stars instead of 5 for cleanliness. Might be normal, but I am not a fur expert and actually not a fan, but this is my taste and not everyone’s. The rest was very tidy and clean, just that you know. Bens Videos “how to use…” also are a great help. Special: we had an issue with the outside light and one of the martens broke the bird feeding station, and I had to contact Ben. He was organizing help immediately and was very friendly. So 100% thumbs up. Thanks a lot, Ben, you were the best host. Summary: we hope to be back at some stage. And decided to buy a house with sea view - somehow, somewhere at some stage ;)
