Pet Guest Guest Quarters au-dessus de notre garage détaché avec entrée privée est une chambre à coucher de 900 pieds carrés avec lit queen plus un loft avec 2 lits jumeaux / échelle coulissante pour un accès facile au loft / plafonds voûtés / vue sur les arbres / beaucoup de soleil / clôturé cour pour animaux de compagnie / à pied de Chambers Landing Beach / un pâté de maisons pour piste cyclable et arrêt de trolleybus / 2 miles à Sugar Pine Point State Park / 3 miles à Meeks Bay Resort / 40 minutes à South Shore et casinos.

Nous vivons sur place dans la maison principale et sommes très respectueux de la vie privée de nos clients, mais nous sommes disponibles pour toutes questions ou besoins spéciaux.

Ceci est une propriété acceptant les animaux de compagnie sur approbation - nous avons 4 chiens de notre choix - des laboratoires âgés de 2 à 9 ans et 2 mélanges de terriers plus petits âgés de 9 et 8 ans - nos chiens utilisent la zone clôturée derrière le garage / apt plusieurs fois par jour en plus de promenades, ils ne sont jamais laissés dans la cour sans que l'un d'entre nous ne les accompagne.

Les mois d'hiver, nous devrons peut-être monter à la pelle sur le pont supérieur, sauf si vous êtes prêt pour une séance d'entraînement - nous nous coordonnerons au besoin (chutes de neige).

Great stay!

My girlfriend, chihuahua, and I enjoyed our stay in Tahoma! The cabin above the garage is in a quiet location and well-stocked for cooking your own meals or BBQing on the deck. Nice sized bathroom and comfy bed. There's a huge dog yard that our pup enjoyed sniffing around. We would stay here again!

Clean, clean, clean...perfect stay!

My 15 year old son, poodle and I had a great three day stay at Sarina's place! The rental was immaculately clean and had every amenity possible. You can tell that Sarina has put a lot of thought into making her guest's stay extra special. I loved the dog run and there are lots of hiking trails within walking distance of the rental. We thought from the ad, this was only an apartment above a garage. Instead it was a whole house! The owner thought of everything you could possibly need. It was all good.

Wonderful little cabin

We had a great time at Sarina’s place. The cabin is very clean and everything is well organized and labeled. It’s a 3 minute drive to Homewood, 25 min to Palisades Tahoe and 15 min to Tahoe City. It was spacious enough for our family of 4 + one dog. Highly recommended.

Summer Lake Tahoe family trip

Sarina made us feel very welcome with all of the special touches that showed that she really anticipates the needs of her guests. The kitchen was well organized and labeled. There were a lot of towels and hotel type toiletries in case you forgot your toothbrush or shower essentials. There are a lot of comfortable couches and a nice table. We didn't have a dog with us, but there was a dog crate, dog treats and a nice area out back to play. A couple notes for older visitors: There are steep stairs going to the unit since it is above the garage. The bed is very firm. Since we were spending a lot of time with family at a bigger place, we didn't spend a lot of time here. It was a nice retreat from all of the family activity to be able to come back and enjoy a slower-paced evening and morning.

Great quiet location close to everything!

Our family of three had a great stay in Tahoma! The town itself is quiet and not touristy, is a 10-minute walk away from a great beach where we paddle boarded and watched several sunsets, is only 15 minutes away from Tahoe City to the north, and 15 minutes away from DL Bliss State Park, Emerald Bay, and a beautiful sand beach to the south. Pet friendly accommodations made bringing our pugs with us a breeze. The host had even put out a large kennel and treats they loved. The cabin was very clean, had everything stocked that we needed, and we knew the host was just a call/knock away. We didn’t quite master a technique that cooled off the entire cabin at night. The living room and loft (that our son LOVED!) cooled off, but the bedroom remained very warm. Luckily, the sheets were nice and cool and fans did help! We will definitely return as we all fell in love with Tahoe, the accommodations, and the variety of towns and scenery that surround the lake. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great place and location

We loved how clean the place was, how thoughtful the landlord was. You can tell they go out of their way to make the stay feel like a home away from home. We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends and family.

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay! It was a perfect size for our family of 3 plus our dog, and we so appreciated all the little extras and amenities that made it feel like home. The layout is spacious and smartly done, with enough room to have a feeling of separation, even in the same open space. The loft was my son’s favorite part of course, he called it his “lair” lol. Sarina was so gracious to provide a dog crate for us to use, as well as bowls and a jar of treats! The large gated yard space for dogs was also wonderful, plus it’s so easy to go for a nature full walk just outside the door. All in all we were so happy and comfortable here, we hope to stay again!!

Cozy and Spacious

This large apartment has the feeling of a cabin, with a nice high ceiling. We lacked for nothing and found the location perfect for lakeside and mountain walks. Our hosts were friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay at Magical West Shore Retreat

I had a wonderful stay! Owners SUPER nice !! So many little touches and details in the house to accommodate guests. Fully stocked. As listed online. Great location for a west shore stay. Plenty of room for just one person, but also spacious for a larger party. Garage opening is loud when owners park car, but I knew the unit was above the garage so not complaining. Rental was immaculately clean. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you.

One of our best “hotel” experiences in Tahoe!

The cabin was fantastic. It was cozy, clean, and had every amenity you can think of, plus more. The location is perfect too. You can walk to Chambers, and it’s not too far from Tahoe City or Emerald Bay. Sarina and her family were very accommodating and welcoming, and we definitely plan to stay here again!

Wonderful Weekend Away

My fiance and I decided to get away for an extended weekend, since it was originally supposed to be our wedding weekend. This location was absolutely perfect for us and our pup!! The location was walking distance to Chambers Landing Beach and Bar/Grill as well as West Shore Pizza. Quiet neighborhood. Wonderful property manager. Very accommodating for our dog. Several hiking options nearby. The loft was a bit warm the first night without A/C, but opening all the windows and turning on the fans helped keep everything cool the rest of the weekend. Overall fantastic, memorable trip!

Exceeded our expectations

The Magical Westshore Retreat was perfect for our family of 4 with two boys, 9 and 12. The boys loved sleeping up in the loft and also playing chess and the other games there. They remarked a few times how much they liked staying there. The beds were very comfortable. The crate available for our dog and wonderful fenced in back yard helped our dog celebrate his 6th birthday there in style! They even had extra cleanup bags available for us to use. My pro tips are as follows: if you're like me and used to your coffee maker turning itself off after a couple of hours remember they don't all do that! I almost forgot to turn off the coffee a couple of times. If you're close to 6 feet tall or taller watch your head entering the back yard. I bumped my head on the top of the fence a couple of times. You would think I would have learned after the first time but nope. :) If we stay in this area again we will definitely stay here again. It was great!

cozy and clean

we had a wonderful 3 days in tahoe at sarina’s cabin. just a few minutes away from homewood, it was super convenient for our annual february ski weekend. the cabin is bigger than we expected, and very comfortable for our family of 4. the kids’ loft was cute, but the beds were too small for our *long* 11 and 16 year olds ;) but they enjoyed the upstairs. the kitchen is fine, but i wouldn’t cook a proper meal there. the place is fabulously CLEAN. i have a high standard for cleanliness, and it was on par! hard to come by, very much appreciated. good water pressure in shower, and plenty of linens. thank you, sarina! we’ll definitely be back!

Cozy Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was super cozy and more spacious than you would think. The property is dog friendly and our pup certainly enjoyed his stay and the yard too. The boys loved the loft which is great for older kids because it’s pretty steep. Kitchen is well equipped and beds are super comfy. Good central locations for various ski resorts. Would love to try in the summer as there are some great beach spots on the west shore. Perfect place for a family of up to five. Highly recommend. Sarina was wonderful to work with and a great host.

Comfortable and beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay at the Westshore Reatreat very much. The accommodation is very comfortable for 4 people, and has everything needed in the kitchen to cook meals.We enjoyed playing the games that were availalble too. The location is quiet and beautiful yet close to Tahoe City. Our dogs loved the fenced dog run in the back yard and walking around the neighborhood. Sarina was very helpful with the rental unit, and very knowledgeable the Tahoe area. We would definitely like to stay again!

The best!

The most comfortable place...we felt right at home and our pup felt it too. Sarina is a very thoughtful host and we enjoyed our stay in Tahoe very much. We were warm, there was always plenty of linens and towels, and we just had the best time. Super clean place too. Thank you for the memories and we look forward to staying with you next time!

Nice place, hot bedroom

The place was very nice and had lots of small items. ie dog treats,coffee,etc. However the bedroom was hot and fans supplied did not cool it off . A simple window air conditioner would probably fix the situation.

Clean, Quiet Cabin

Had a nice stay with a friend of mine and it worked out with the loft and one bedroom. Had everything we needed to cook and BBQ on the deck. It was perfect to be able to bring a dog and a great area for enjoying the lake!
