Come and enjoy a getaway experience that’s just minutes from Topeka! Whether you’re traveling to visit family or a local looking to relax in town, our place is perfect for you!

Feel the escape as you drive up a private driveway to a cabin that sits on 4 acres. Come make great memories with friends and family while enjoying kayaks, a game room, or a dive in the pond. Get competitive with a game of pickleball and then cap the night off with s’mores around the fire pit.

Whether you’re a stay inside or camp outdoors type, our property fits everybody’s needs. Our acreage is flat and ready for a camp out with you and your closest friends while having enough beds inside to host 12 guests. Whatever you choose, you’ll leave our cabin recharged and refreshed.

You understand that swimming and use of kayaks is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming and use of kayaks.

Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. The pond amplifies sound to our neighbors. If we receive 3 noise complaints, you will be asked to leave with no a refund.

If the Cabin is left in disarray that causes extra cleaning beyond the normal process, you’ll be charged an extra cleaning fee.

Incredible Property!

Went here with friends for a spring break trip and totally blown away with the house and surrounding property, looks even better than photos! Had so much fun, no complaints, had everything I needed to cook meals for everyone, the place is isolated but about a 10 minute drive to a large area of stores and restaurants, my friends had a great time on the basketball court, an perfect place overall!

This place was awesome! So much to do! Communication was a little delayed but they were very flexible and kind. I would highly recommend this place!

4th of July getaway!

We rented this cabin with two other families and we each had two kids between the ages of 2-9. The property had plenty of room for the kids to run, jump, and play games. We all loved the kayaks. There are plenty of boats/kayaks, paddles and life jackets so that several people could be on the water at once. The cabin itself is well kept with plenty of room. The garage is turned into a game room with a ping pong table, pool table, pin ball game, and NBA Jam arcade. The kids and adults both enjoyed this room. The upstairs loft room next to the “kids bedroom” had a TV and Super Nintendo replica with several pre loaded games for when the kids finished playing and paddling outside. The fire pit right out back is very large with plenty of seating. We brought some kids fishing poles and they had a blast fishing! There is a small charcoal grill near the fire pit but we ended up using the larger ones down by the lake. Overall, this place was amazing and exceeded all our expectations. It comfortably fit 6 adults and 6 kids and we were able to create lasting memories with our friends and family. Would love to rent this place again!

Relaxing weekend

Had the absolute best weekend in this beautiful cabin! Love the fire pit, outdoor lights, games in the garage and so much more. Beds were super comfortable too. I would book this property again and can’t recommend it enough!

Family time

Decided to look for a vacation home instead of staying at a hotel. We have family in Topeka and the rustic cabin was perfect. We traveled with my 6 months old granddaughter and it worked out so well.

Stay lasted all of a half hour at best.

We were not able to stay there due the toilet backing up across the garage floor out onto the apron. Had to run upstairs to shut water off to stop the flooding across the garage floor once I figured out where the water was coming from. I guess I should have checked all the toilets for signage befor my daughter took a pee. We ended up having to get hotel rooms for our stay. Sorry to the owners that it ended up this way but this was a problem they had before. I don’t get a lot of time away to visit family. We were down for a wedding and ended up being late for the grooms dinner then spending our time in the parking lot to cancel the rental on vrbo and looking for a hotel instead of spending time with the family. So if the owners are upset that I didn’t spend enough time explaining the situation to them or texting back through vrbo tough. Me and my wife were down with our 7 kiddos not interested in spending 2 days down there and a 700 mile trip home with sick kids because there toilet backed up on the lower level.

Dynamite property -

There were four of us who stayed here for a night since it was close to Lawrence and we were going to the KU basketball game. Beautiful property and very clean! We enjoyed exploring the property and loved the firepit at night. Owners had timely responses. Only complaint was the bed in downstairs bedroom very hard and uncomfortable, needs a new mattress. Downstairs shower was either very hard to figure out or there wasn't hot water. Two of us took showers and had the same problem. Not sure about the upstairs bathroom, no one used it. Upstairs king bed was good. Plenty of space, lots of games, and a great place to kick back. Overall, a great experience.
