This house was perfect for our second year. It was wonderful last year also. Great location! 7 adults and two kids with a big yard, a big family table, air hockey, hot tub and spotlessly clean. See you next year.

The house was beautiful in a nice quiet location and just a short ride to all the fun and excitement in the area. The beds were comfy and I loved having a ceiling fan in the room. There is also a grocery store less than a mile away from this property with no vacation crowds. The only thing I would highly recommend would be to bring a few of your own bath towels, beach towels, and trash bags. I would definitely want to stay here again.

Pros: the cabin was very clean, flooring, fixtures and furniture were new and were nice. The hot tub was great. Both porches were very nice. Loved how the three main bedrooms had king sized beds.Cons: the tv remotes didn’t work half of the time, no mirrors anywhere in the house except the bathrooms. With that many people in a cabin you can’t all be in the bathroom at the same tim so more mirrors are needed for people to be able to do their hair and makeup, a keurig was pictured but there was no keurig, the living room was small, the games had missing pieces so we couldn’t even play them, no dust pan, only two trash bags were provided, only two kitchen towels, the air hockey table was in a weird spot first of all it was so loud the grownups couldn’t talk while the kids were playing, also if it wasn’t there the furniture placement could be better

Family Vacation in the Smokies

Our family was so excited for this summer vacation. Leading up to our trip, we had lots of questions for the host and they were very responsive and helpful. Things seemed great, until we arrived. 1. Our group’s #1 requirement for a VRBO was a BBQ grill. Imagine our disappointment when we arrived and the grill was not usable. We reached out to the property management company, who said they would reach out to the owner and get back to us. A day goes by and we didn’t hear back, so we sent a message to the host through VRBO. We’re not fully sure if he was aware of the issue, but he informed us he would have his handyman come out to the property to fix it. Another day goes by, still nothing. So we called the property management company and asked again. In their exact words, “What do you want us to do about it?” Super unprofessional! Especially considering we had been waiting 3 days at this point and they still had not sent a handyman to the property to look at the grill. Ultimately we had to go buy the replacement grill AND put it together for them, taking time out of our vacation. We asked for compensation and was simply refunded the cost of grill only. 2. There is a cutout in the sidewalk that is very dangerous, especially if you have handicap house guests.3. The front porch does not have much light. Be careful at night. 4. The coffee pot is not the same one as pictured in the listing.

Family vacay

It was the perfect location for our trip. Grocery store was no more than a mile from the cabin and all local attractions were relatively short distances away. It was quiet, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked. The only complaint was from my fashionista daughter who longed for a full view mirror to check out her outfits each day…ha!

More Cons than Pros

Pros - good hot water supply for multiple showers, baths, etc. good water pressure in showers. nice washer/dryer. had to call for service tech on hot tub, and he was very nice and knowledgeable. Cons - felt like a corporate/industry/hotel room stay, vs. home away from home feeling. cheap pots/pans handles falling off. Only 2 tiny kitchen towels. not enough toilet paper on hand. air hockey table legs were so loose the table leaned R and L about 8 inches during play. only 2 kitchen trash bags. bedroom doors creaked loudly when opened/closed. cheap fixtures like hand towel bar coming out of the wall, drawer pulls, etc. TV remotes worked 50% of the time. no basic pantry items in kitchen like vegetable oil. ice maker in freezer did not make ice. King beds upstairs lousy mattresses and squeaky box springs every time you moved. hot tub complete disappointment would not heat past 74 deg for first 2 days of stay, then 2 large hairballs floating around in it.

Septic issues

When we arrived, the first night, there were septic issues. The property manager got someone out to look at it the very next day but we had to be away from the cabin all day for the repairs. This resulted in us spending money for meals we weren’t planning on, without sufficient compensation from the property managers. In addition, I fell on the stairs and broke my ankle which is resulting in surgery!

The perfect spot for young families!

We had a great stay! It was exceptionally clean, and such a wonderful house for young families. Our kids loved the hot tub, the yard to run around on, & there were amenities that made it easy like having a high chair & baby gate there for us. I could just live out on that porch too! We will be back!

Family trip

We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful cabin. This was our Christmas gift to our kids and grandkids this year. There was plenty of room for all of us to relax and enjoy our time together. Everyone loved the game table, air hockey and the hot tub. Cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. Host was great to work.with and communication was great.

Place is beautiful

The house was very clean and beautiful. Kitchen had everything you need. Host got right back to me when I had a question. Good location. Only things were the one bedroom upstairs the bed made a noise every time you moved and the tv service was a spotty. But other than that it was perfect. Definitely staying there again. Thanks Justin.

Had an amazing time.

The cabin was as listed, very nice, comfortable and clean. The hot tub was our issue. When the top was taken off the hot tub the water had a hazy appearance, and appeared to have what looked like potato chip's floating around and there were chunks of the same stuff adhered to the filter in the tub. I called the number provided and was not connected to the host but to a guy who said he worked with him as his assistant. I was told to take picures and send them to him. After looking at the pictures and consulting with the cleaners I was told the tub had been drained, and properly sanitized and that what I was seeing was the bromine that had been added to the water. Bromine is of a granular substance and should not have appeared as food in the water. Not really trusting that explanation I didnt wish to let that hinder a great time at the cabin. I and my granddaughter enjoyed the tub but the rest of our party opted out due to the subpar condition of the water. There seems to be a plumbing issue as well, when you are showering or washing clothes or running the dishwasher water is backing up and bubbling in the toilets, not that it affected our stay, just something they may want to addeess. The cabin is very nice and the roads to get there are awesome, no steep mountainess hills or narrow roadways. If the hot tub had of been drained and clean water added my stay would have been amazing.

Great Time With Family and Friends

Justin and Kati were super hosts and very good communicators. They reached out before our trip and explained everything to us. The house is better than the pictures can show and all the amenities are there for use. It is very close to everytjing you want to do in the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area and even more activities around than we expected. The morning views were incredible and sitting on the back deck and just relaxing was just what we needed at the end of our long days. Thanks again to Justin and Kari for making this vacation incredible and opening their home up for us and all that stay here in the future.
