This newly remodeled bungalow sits on a quiet street close to downtown Cheboygan, Michigan. Perfect central location for exploring all northern Michigan has to offer! About a 5 minute drive to the sandy City Beach at Gordon Turner Park on the shore of Lake Huron - complete with large playground, grills and picnic area, boardwalk, observation tower, and lighthouse. Just a 20 minute drive to Mackinaw City and the Mackinac Bridge, 50 minutes to downtown Petoskey, about an hour to Charlevoix and two to Traverse City. Close to many great restaurants, parks, and entertainment in Cheboygan.
Spacious living room with 56” TV to enjoy included Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ subscriptions. Free Wi-Fi. Dining space for 6, and three uniquely adorned bedrooms with space to sleep 6. Air mattress and bedding available for additional guests. Perfect for up to three couples or a family vacation. Enjoy your coffee in the enclosed porch or with the Lake Huron morning breeze on the full front porch. Recently updated kitchen and freshly painted exterior on this older bungalow home. Partially fenced backyard includes umbrella dining set for 4, firepit, chairs, and propane grill. Pet-friendly - please add pets while booking to include $50 pet fee. A Ring camera doorbell is at the front entry - ring if you need any assistance during check in!
***Please note that the home does not have central air but does have 3 window AC units and a portable AC unit. Thankfully the summer nights usually cool down nicely from Cheboygan’s Lake Huron breeze. There are also fans for each bedroom.

This is a small older house in a low income area. Appearance on approach, house did not appear to be kept well with dirty, spiderweb filled windows. The home in general was very musty, old windows with wood falling apart, mold (black and pink) around window in bathroom. Three separate window AC running unsealed to window gaps, whole house AC in a bedroom with multiple other fans running. Between the sound and air quality we chose to end our stay a day early. Overall did not expect a small house in downtown Cheboygan to be in this rough of shape.

What a cute and comfortable little home. Everything that one needed was there. Jessica answered quickly when I messaged her. Husband was supposed to come up as he had a fly fishing trip planned for over a year, due to Mother Nature and her fickled self trip was canceled last minute. Our plans were changed and we didn't stay last week. From easiness of checking in to departure I give it a 10/10. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was amazing. Everything we needed was supplied and Jessi always goes above and beyond for her guests. She is honestly the best hostess I have ever had. This was my second rental with her and am already planning my next stays with her.

I was a little confused with the listing because the pictures made it seem like there was another bed. But overall we enjoyed our stay. It was a cute little house with comfortable beds.

Great little place for the price

This little place was super quaint and cute. My kids loved the upstairs pink room and the chair hanging from the ceiling near the main living room. The place was well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom.

Perfect getaway place!

Home was exactly as advertised and perfect for our needs. It had everything we needed and was located close to hiking trails and Mackinaw City. Host was most accommodating and communication was great. Can't wait to book another trip.

Stocked and child friendly

We loved our stay at this place. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates etc. So was the bathroom. The bedrooms were child and infant friendly with blackout curtains, pack in play, high chair. There was even a ride on in the basement (we didn't discover till check out... Lol). Everything was clean and comfy despite the fact that pets were allowed. Only two things we would change if we could: being pet friendly and the shower faucet being hard to use (not realizing that the faucet moved side to side and not twisted till after the cold shower 😆). Our kids loved the pink room trundle bed and our infant enjoyed sleeping in the pack in play in the master. The sheets were knit (which to me is a preference thing), and the mattress was soft in the master. We loved our stay especially it being so close to Mackinaw city. ❤️

I am originally from downstate Michigan, and am so thankful to now live up north. I have three kids, a boy who is 11 and girls who are 9 and 7. I work as a substitute teacher in Cheboygan Area Schools. During the summer, my kids and I travel northern Michigan campgrounds in our RV and spend our time swimming, hiking, and exploring. I am so happy to be able to provide others a place to stay while exploring this beautiful area!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our family moved up north from downstate Michigan in 2019 after staying at a vacation rental and deciding we never wanted to leave! The area is a summer paradise and winter wonderland. This rental is on a quiet, family-friendly street that is also very close to town. Many things to do within walking distance.

This house is a comfortable and clean home-away-from-home. You will feel welcomed and well provided for with the extra amenities and personal touches. I am always available for guests and happy to help with anything you may need!
