Private yard with mature trees on corner lot near sidewalks. Perfect up north getaway with all of the modern comforts of home. Full kitchen, two full baths, 4 bedrooms, upstairs kitchenette, large dining and living rooms. Very comfortable beds with thick memory foam toppers and lasting hot water for the whole group. High chair, pack-n-play, toys, games, and books available for little ones by request. Tanning room and game room with dartboard and air hockey table are in the partially finished basement. Flat-screen TVs equipped with Amazon Firesticks in living room, basement, and three bedrooms. Subscriptions included are Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ for your viewing pleasure. Newly added HOT TUB on back patio is open year-round!! Deluxe full-body massage chair in sunroom. Sit back into therapeutic comfort after a long day at the beach! Horseshoes, Yardzee, 2 kayaks, and 14’ trampoline for outdoor fun! Kayaks can be transported upon request, or carried right across the street and put in at the roadside park on the Cheboygan River! Host was super kind and made sure we had everything we needed for our weekend family trip! Even our teens had a great time with the games/amenities offered. The distance to downtown is perfect, great recommendations on restaurants/activities left by host as well. Would love to stay here again!

Nice “home base” as we explored upper MI & Mackinac Island. Only complaint would be that the dining room & living room were not large enough for us to all be in 1 room together. The outside area is great and is where we spent most of our time. Grandkids loved the chickens!

Perfect Getaway

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this charming home. Close to Mackinac ferries for our visit there. Large local grocery so we could cook in the well-appointed kitchen at the end of a long day. Comfortable beds. Quiet area but not “the middle of nowhere” for a bunch of city dwellers like us. Great outdoor area - and those chickens!!! We all enjoyed this beautiful home. Thanks, Jessica!!

Excellent Place to Stay!!!

This property worked perfectly for our family of 9. It had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect to get to the ferry to see Mackinac Island. We also enjoyed downtown Mackinaw City.

Cheboygan

This is a lovely home, with plenty of space for the 6 people we had with us. (Some of our family couldn't go with us.) We enjoyed the hot tub especially! Our vow renewal at the Little Stone Church on Mackinac Island was lovely, & we were pleased to stay in this home, with all the room!

Review

This property was such a great choice for my girls trip. It was only a 20 minute drive to the mackinac island ferry. The house had everything you could think of and more. Spare blankets, air mattress, card/board games, and the 2 full bathrooms was a huge plus with 9 women. Jessica is definitely a super host for a reason. She responds quick, has a great attitude, and she's reasonable. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone. Even if you have kids, there's something in the house for everyone. I hope to stay here again someday.

Family Stay

This was our home base for a family trip to Mackinaw Island. Listing was exactly as pictured. Met all of our needs. We loved the fresh eggs, the massage chair, the hot tub, and all the provided games. We had a great time!

Cozy, clean, and family friendly

We absolutely loved this property! It was the perfect space for our party of 8 (4 kids and 4 adults). The house offered plenty of room for everyone, making it an ideal spot for families. One of our favorite features was the 3-season room, where we spent so much time relaxing and hanging out together. The kids' room was absolutely adorable, and the girls had a blast playing pretend there—it was a big hit with them! The house was incredibly well-equipped—I've never stayed at a vacation home that was so stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to cozy extras. We also really appreciated all the notes of around the house and the minimal cleanup instructions—it made things so much easier when we were preparing to leave.Another highlight was all the charming little art pieces around the house. They really added a unique touch and made the space feel special. The kids had so much fun feeding the chickens and looking for eggs. It was such a fun activity that everyone enjoyed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families!

Great Stay in Cheboygan!

Our family (myself, my husband, 16 year old, 13 year old, and 9 year old kids, and 4 year old medium doodle dog) stayed here for a long weekend. We rented the whole property. Everything was just as pictured. There were helpful labels letting us know where light switches were located, or items we could use. Jessi generously provided snacks, breakfast foods, and plenty of condiments in the fridge. There was plenty of sleeping spaces so the kids could pick their rooms. The beds were SO COMFY! We enjoyed the hot tub nightly- slippers to walk outside and plenty of towels were provided. The house is located on a neighborhood street with sidewalks to take morning walks with our dog. We felt safe in this area. The boys enjoyed the foosball table and darts in the basement and I enjoyed the massage chair in the sunroom daily. We would definitely visit again when in Cheboygan.

Great House

We had a great time exploring Northern Michigan and using Cheboygan as our home base. The house is lovely. A perfect mix of old charm and modern updates. The kids loved the trampoline and chickens/ducks. The beds were very cozy. If we are ever back in the area, we will for sure book again!

This property was absolutely wonderful. The decorations were lovely, and there were activities for people of all ages. The property manager was extremely kind and accommodating. My adult children enjoyed the property just as much as my grandchildren. This home was the perfect home base for all of our activities.

If I could summarize this up in one statement I would say it felt like we were staying at someones's house who went away for the weekend and not in a good way. When we pulled upnto the house tjere was a camper and gechile in tje driveway, kids were playing in tje yard, we got there right a 4 when our check in time was supposed to be. I looked on the website to contact the host, saw she sent us a message 4 hours prior that she had some wxtra things she wanted to do and wanted to know when would would arrive. We were on the road so we were not checking our phones,we tried to call her with no answer to find out who was say the house and so did VRBo, no answer. I got a message from her at 4:23 saying they were pulling out. The street view from the house is notpleanysant, here is a gas station directly next door to the house and a tron down builing acrooss the street. The pics of the ome are kisleading becuase it made the yard and house in general appear nicer than it was. When we walked in overall the house was faily clean but tjere were some thibns that bothered us. It was very dusty rjeought the house and that affected half of our family becuase of our allerfies. The fridge had left over food in the frezzetnd fridge. There was glarci cloves carrots, cream cheese, milk. Bagels, lots of sauces and salda dressings, the frezzer was full of icecrwam, old banancas, teething rings, and a few other items, r I did get a phone call fro

I am originally from downstate Michigan, and am so thankful to now live up north. I have three kids, a boy who is 11 and girls who are 9 and 7. I work as a substitute teacher in Cheboygan Area Schools. During the summer, my kids and I travel northern Michigan campgrounds in our RV and spend our time swimming, hiking, and exploring. I am so happy to be able to provide others a place to stay while exploring this beautiful area!

Perfect location to walk and ride bikes into town, and being next to Louie's market is very convenient!

The HOT TUB, tanning bed and therapeutic massage chair are fantastic! Our patio is wonderful and spacious for enjoying the outdoors, our kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and food staples, and an extra kitchenette upstairs is great for large groups or morning coffee. Fresh eggs are often available for guests from our friendly chickens. The beds are VERY comfortable which is so important for a relaxing vacation!
