Condo was better than expected. Everything was great. Tons of room and bathrooms. The elevator in the unit was overlooked when we booked so it was a great surprise. The two parking spots also came in very handy.
Perfect family spot! We had a blast, easy 1 minute walk to the snowflake lift and bus stop. Very easy to get around. Ski home from the mountain to the door. Private elevator was a wonderful surprise.
Comfortable, great location and clean accommodations.
Our family rented this condo for a Spring Break getaway. Being close enough to be able to walk downtown, take a bus or shuttle to ski hill or other Breckinridge attractions is a big plus for this property. It is run by a good management company. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The couch smelled like scalp odor and feet and the cooking pans were terrible. The balcony was awesome...need to highlight this on the posting. Location was perfect. Space was perfect for 4 adult women. Parking with own elevator was super useful especially during COVID.
As advertised. Right next to Snowflake lift and on an off-shoot of 4 O'Clock run. Excellent location for skiing!. 10 min walk to town, downhill on the way, uphill on the way back.. Spacious, comfy beds, with great amenities. Awesome large outdoor hot tub!. Condo itself was sparse on things like toilet paper, towels, dish soap, trash bags, etc.. Recommend checking in and taking inventory of what you might need. A minor thing compared to the location and comfort of the condo. Would recommend.
Didn't like having to check in at central office off site. Seems like this could have been done electronically.
The furniture is broken in 1 way or another for many pieces. Also the kitchen is barebones. I didnât expect Iâd need to potentially bring things to cook with.
Beds are hard and pillows are practically worthless. Small simples upgrades like 3â of memory foam on each bed would make a huge difference but this property is clearly cheating out. Best to avoid especially if elderly people will be staying here.
This condo seriously needs updating. The carpet was worn and frayed. Living room rug stained and disgusting. Kitchen was lacking items and too small. It was a good layout but would have been nice to have another bathroom which I will check closer next time - if I rent on VRBO again. Also housekeeping but maybe that's not included on any of the places for rent. My first experience with it.
Great location with easy access to lift and short walk to town. Ski in/ski out is a stretch. I define it as being able to ski to and from door, not walk but most seem to stretch definition. Snowflake run could get you there but way too flat so lots of poling. Four oâclock down is maybe 75yd walk uphill. Ski out is good , you can get right to snowflake lift like 50 yards away. Appliances were the real problem. Stove was cracked and dishwasher falling out, fridge had lots of problems too. Reported stove for safety but nothing ever done even after followup. Furniture is old and broke down. That said, Iâd rent again though, the elevator to unit was incredible! If I owned, (and I would buy it!), Iâd upgrade it and charge more to recoupâŠbut guess it rents fine based on location and amenities. Hot tubs, sauna and steam room were great!
Location on this house it's perfect, just a few steps away from the lift and across the street from the trail to go home. You can see the lift chairs going by from the living room and/or balcony. Very spacious, we had 10 adults and everyone had a place to sleep very comfortable. Covered garage and equipment lockers were excellent very convenient, there's even an elevator straight from the garage to the house. The building was also great, had an indoor hot tub, sauna, steam room and an outdoor hot tub too. The indoors hot tub wasn't working during our stay and the steam room and sauna were shut down for maintenance during half of out stay but the outdoors hot tub was great and spacious for 10 ppl. This house is within walking distance to town or just a short drive and also very accesible to the main road in town to go in or out. The unit does need some updates in the kitchen appliances: dishwasher was tipping over every time we opened/closed it and the toaster oven wouldn't close either. The living room furniture could also use an update, every time you sit down in the couch you sink in right away and there was a broken chair too. Some of the wallpaper was peeling off and there was a lightbulb out in one of the bathrooms. This were all minor issues to us as we truly enjoyed this house but it might be an issue for other families. Overall this house was excellent, can't get a better location for ski in/out or to enjoy the town than this plac. Hopefully the house gets an update.
This VRBO was everything we expected and more. Perfect ski in ski out location and just a few steps from the bus stop. Private elevator up to your unit from the parking garage/ ski storage room. Comfortably fit my whole girl friend group. Maybe a few more towels would be helpful, but overall a great experience.
Unfortunately, not worth the money. Unit needs lots of maintenance. Seems that it hasn't been done in a long time: threadbare, spotted carpeting, broken glass on cooktop, 3 of 4 dehumidifiers broken, bathroom sink stoppers not working, broken window blinds, peeling wallpaper, very old pots & pans, missing/burnt out light bulbs over kitchen range and throughout, broken thermostat in hallway, no Keurig coffee machine. Some rooms were hot, others were cold. On the plus side, the location was good, it was nice having the elevator and the fireplace was great.
I'll mention the goods and others. Loved the warmed covered garage with 2 reserved parking spots. Private entry to sit and take our boots on and off was very nice. A private elevator opening right into the condo is quite handy when bringing in food and luggage.
The living area is terrific with many great windows allowing for a fantastic view of the lift.and snow. In the corner is a wonderful gas fireplace that warms the room. Very cozy living room.
The carpet needs to be replaced desperately.
The kitchen is small and tight for several people preparing foods at the same time. It could use a large cooking pot, larger skillet, the toaster oven does not work. Knives need to be sharpened. No napkins were provided.
You can't adjust the thermostat so it's either really hot and you open the windows or it's chilly and you turn on the FP for more heat.
I did not know that I needed to bring my own detergent and dryer sheets to use the washer and dryer.
The bunk room is very hot while the other rooms were chilly. Blankets or bedspreads would have been really nice. I needed more than a sheet and a very light blanket. I slept in my thermals. The master suite was nice, but the shower is slow to drain.
No lotion was provided, better bring your own. A nice hotel would have provided this for its guests.
Not every bathroom had a blow dryer. Nice towels, however.
It's about a 2-minute walk to the closest lift. Not truly ski in and out.
Charter ski rental is very handy and right next door.
For the money, , I will look elsewhere next time.
location couldn't be better. ski-in/ski-out (involves some flat ares on snowflake, but place is right next the lift). Also very walkable to town. Prop mgmt was very responsive. one drain was clogged and someone came within 2 hrs to work on it. overall, highly recommend and may be back to rent this exact unit.
I have been many places and stayed in many types of places, but this condo gets an 11 on a scale of 1-10! It was just as described:heated parking garage, private elevator, clean, awesome location, absolutely spacious for our crew of 10! Thank you for sharing your place with us.
We enjoyed taking a quick trip to Breckenridge to get away. This was a great space to unwind and enjoy a weekend away! Great location and accommodations!
The condo was very nice! It was neat to look out and see the ski lift out the bedrooms and living room! Loved the heated garage with private elevator to the condo. Very convenient and will stay again!
Great condo for family gatherings. Perfect location & well equipped. Would definitely stay here again. Property management team, Great Western Lodging, very good to work with as well!
We loved the layout, the heated garage, and all the space for 9 people. The only complaint I have is the bunk beads have broken rails. So we took the mattress off and used it on the floor. The Master bath and hot tub were amazing and enjoyed by all of us.
Great Location! Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 small kids. I have stayed in this community before and love the heated garage. The unit 307 was defiantly on the warm side! I left windows open and that helped. Great Western Lodging was great to work with. We had only one issue regarding a pac-n-play for grandkids not being available in unit after I had called right before leaving home to make sure unit provided one. Agent confirmed that it did have a pac-n-play and when we arrived we were told that it was a mistake and that this unit did not provide one. They had info as to where I could rent one, because their cost was $80.00 to rent! I understood that this was just a mistake, but felt that they should provide for no cost because I called to confirmed. Management took responsibility and there was no charge. Everyone was very pleasant and I defiantly would rent from them again.
We chose this location two years in a row. The unit, with private elevator, 2 garage parking spots, and short walk to lift is perfect for our large group which includes 3 children. The condo is plenty spacious for 10 people and the kids enjoy waiving to skiers from the balcony! Only complaint is the $10 charge for one lost key card (out of 8). Hard to believe it was necessary to charge that much for what is essentially a plastic hotel card key.
We loved our stay at Riverbend lodge. The unit we rented had its own private elevator which made moving our stuff and groceries really easy. The snowflake lift really is just outside of the front door to the property - super convenient. The unit was spacious, the jetted tub was a nice touch and we were cozy there. Our biggest complaint is that the electronics were a little dated and there was no way for us to simply listen to music while we were unwinding in front of the fireplace... but we were there to ski, so judge that accordingly. We thought it was a great value for our family stay with 4 adults and 2 kids. We had room to spare. The parking lot has somewhat of a low ceiling, so if you're driving a Chevy Suburban or Cadillac Escalade or similar with one of those Thule containers on top, be really careful about where you park... we couldn't use our designated parking spot because the ceiling was too low, so we had to park in 'open' (still covered, just not reserved) parking. I threw out two objections, but understand these were really small objections. Overall, we had a great stay at the property and would recommend it to other families that are looking for ski-in ski-out accomodations at Breck. We might stay here again.
