Une maison avec tant de choses Ă  faire: bain de soleil sur le lac Travis toute la journĂ©e, terrasse Ă  l'Ă©tage avec haut-parleurs extĂ©rieurs pour profiter de la musique et du soleil et belle vue sur le lac, terrasse couverte en bas pour se protĂ©ger du soleil, profitez du centre-ville d'Austin la vie nocturne ou faire un tour au Pays des Collines. Plusieurs restaurants sur le lac, y compris Carlos et Charlies directement en face du lac de cette maison, Cafe Blue Ă  moins d'un demi-mile de la maison en voiture ou en bateau, le cĂ©lĂšbre restaurant Oasis est Ă  10 minutes en voiture. Waterfront est magnifique avec un accĂšs facile Ă  l'eau et une grande baignade juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© du quai. La pĂȘche au large du quai est bonne pour la perche et le poisson-chat. La vue est Ă  couper le souffle et l'une des meilleures du lac.

Volente est un court trajet de 40 km de l'aéroport d'Austin Bergstrom. Cet emplacement est l'un des plus pratiques pour Austin sur le lac Travis.

Le parc aquatique Volente est Ă  3,2 km.

Le quai de bateau au bord de l'eau peut ĂȘtre utilisĂ© pour nager, pĂȘcher ou amarrer votre bateau. Le quai a un coin salon de 20 x 30 et deux bordereaux de bateau vacants. Le quai est couvert et en excellent Ă©tat.

Great location with all the lake amenities you would ever need. Very relaxing get away! Loved the deck and view. We enjoyed out stay and would go back.

4th of July

We stayed here over the 4th of July. The location was perfect for watching fireworks from the back deck and the floating dock was perfect to enjoy the lake. The cleanliness of the property could have been better. There were dead bugs and mouse droppings in the house. Overall the stay was great and the house had everything we needed.

We had a great time at this lake house. It was quiet, had beautiful scenery and was very clean and inviting. Being conveniently located near Volente we had plenty to do and see. I would recommend this for any family wanting a nice getaway on Lake Travis.

Beautiful remote location

Great location, everything as described. Accommodated 3 couples well, a remote private bedroom downstairs for a single couple, a gameroom for the night owls that kept the main house quiet. Dock has water still, fire pit and speakers throughout the property. Having read previous reviews any small faults brought up were addressed. Only issue was people looking for city night life will have a decent drive to get into town.

Nice location, dog friendly. Cleanliness needs improvement.

Property had great view, check-in was simple, lots to do on the property. Only issue is the cleanliness. My family had to clean the coffee maker and washs a couple of the utensils. They had mold and dead bugs in them.

Great Lake hang out

The property is a Great Lake hang out. We had a fantastic stay and used every aspect of the property. Erika, the property manager, was very responsive and helpful, which made our stay much easier. The property is well used but clean and suited our casual style gathering. Ideal location and will be back in the future.

Lovely home, great view

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, beds comfortable, A/C great. Had fun on the dock, but it is a long walk down, so plan on staying a while. The game room/garage was fun (but hot in July)! Appreciated quick responses from the owner. We would stay here again.

Cant get enough!

My family just cant get enough of the lake house! We enjoy our stay every time (this is our 6th booking of this location). The home is always clean and cool when we arrive. The lake is always inviting! And the fish are always biting!! An awesome getaway every time.

Perfect property for views and Access to Lake Travis.

Very comfortable and clean house with excellent views of the lake and surrounding hills. We will definitely be back to rent this summer for a longer period. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Close to the Oasis for sunset dinner/drinks. We rented a pontoon boat for a half day to see more of the lake. The two marinas were only a few miles down the road.

Property has everything

I rented a ski boat and kept it at the house in the slip overnight and all weekend. Plenty of social space, uncovered and covered decks. Great location for tubing and skiing and the surrounding restaurants did not price gouge and had good food. Gas grill is clean and once you figure out the TV remote you have hundreds of channels for the sunburn victims.

What a great property!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. Lots of games for the kids to play and also for the adults. Even though this home is on a slope, there are leveled grassy areas where the kids can play. We also spent some time on the covered boat dock. The pride of ownerships shines through the entire property. Just A class! The owner is also very easy to contact if something comes up during the stay.

Had Fun and Wish the Lake was full again.

Only suggestion was we needed Hot Pads or we could not find them and we also needed extra Blankets which we would have brought if we knew we needed to bring. Too HOT for the Garage but it looked well stocked for fun. Thank you for the Stay.

Pictures are spot on for the home. However! The views of the lake from the house and the dock are even more breathtaking in person. If you want to get away from the craziness of life but still be close enough to everyday necessities, this is the perfect place. Waking up to the beautiful sounds of an array of birds singing, to going to bed to the whispers of an owl and the lakes wondrous hums made it even more special. We will definitely be back, thank you Erika for sharing this beautiful place.

Awesome lake house

The family wanted to go to Lake Travis instead of Destin this year. The house was great. It had everything we needed to cook meals for the week. The view of the lake is amazing from the back patio deck. The grill on the patio was nice and clean so we enjoyed grilling and sitting on the deck. The kids loved the pool table and ping pong table. The dock was very nice for swimming and fishing off of. The fire pit sitting area was very nice. We enjoyed watching the sun go down with a nice fire and roasting marshmallows. This house was perfect for our vacation. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful View!

The view from the Lakehouse was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed our stay but the hike up from the boathouse was quite a workout for several members of our group (the climb is shown as 5 flights of stairs on my iPhone). The bed in the downstairs bedroom needs a new mattress and box spring (very noisy and it tacos), the upstairs bathroom needs to have the toilet paper holder reattached to the wall and the hammock was torn in two pieces so it wasn't usable. We had to make a run to HEB, which wasn't planned, since there was no dishwasher detergent, no body wash/soap in the bath/showers and only one dish towel. Other than the few annoyances noted above, we enjoyed the house and dock.

Great View, dirty house

A couple of friends had decided to rent a lake house and spend the weekend making memories. We stayed from the 18th to the 21st of April and had a good time. Their were a couple things that kept me from giving this anything above 3 stars. The first was the wifi, it had no connection/service. Second the water pressure of the house, mainly the restrooms, they were poor and lacked maintenance, especially the upstairs restroom. Third, a member of our group located a needle in his bed downstairs as he was preparing for bed! Fourth while we were grilling, we decided to open the umbrella for the shade and inside the top of the umbrella was a dead bird. The cutlery was poor as well. At best this place was a 2.5 out of 5. Game room had the pool table and ping pong table but the ping pong table was old and required maintenance. This place is not worth what was spent.

Great place for stay with family and pups

The property is in a great location with access to the lake. Owners were very easy to work with but we didn't really interact with them. One bedroom is downstairs with access from the outside. It wasn't a big deal for us, but it is good to know if you need that bedroom for children. Our only issue with the stay was the cleanliness of the property. There were dirty towels in the bathroom floor upstairs when we arrived. The dishes in the kitchen had been put away dirty with some kind of brown substance on them. A very old sponge had soured and left a bad smell in the house. My husband and I made a trip to HEB for cleaning supplies and scented candles which fixed it right up, but it wasn't a great way to kick off the stay. The grill was also too dirty to use. My guess is this is an unusual occurrence for this household...like perhaps the cleaning person was in a hurry and left some things undone. Other than the cleanliness issue, the home is wonderful.

Fun property!

The property is right on the lake and the house sets back up the hill. The long walk down to the lake and fire pit wasn't bad but the walk back up to the hill to the house was little taxing on the lungs! Be sure to get in shape, or you will going up and down before your trip is over! But it is really neat house and large property. Plenty of room to roam. Huge deck on the second floor with outstanding view of the lake, property and night sky. Fire pit down close to the lake was very relaxing in the evenings. The large game room with pool table and ping pong table was a big hit with everyone. All the comforts of home - the kitchen was large enough for us to cook a big Thanksgiving dinner and included all the cookware we needed; the living room was nice and spacious, although we spent most of our time on the fully furnished deck or down at the fire pit! Very private and secluded. We couldn't figure out how to get the TV to work to watch any football games, but it really didnt matter. We were enjoying our family and the property too much to worry about TV! Be sure to bring your own soap and shampoos...it's not like a hotel! But plenty of linen and towels were provided. We will definitely want another return visit when it warms up so we can swim/boat in the secluded cove.

Bad experience,

We stay for 2 July weekend we expect to have a wonderful weekend. was the worst experience we have ever had. We arrived at the house on Saturday, July 1. first of all we inspect the property, the game room is located in the garage it was totally dirty In the room that is located in the lower part of Okia, it is humid and we found moisture in the bathroom in the air vent in the windows, my son and his wife were leaving. to stay there, they couldn't stay because of the conditions they were in and they decided to go and stay upstairs in the living room, what was the surprise that when we were already in bed he got up at midnight around 1am to the kitchen to get water and I listen and he is vomiting I get up and go to see and ask what is happening he tells me this is horrible the kitchen It is infested with cockroaches, it was horrible cockroaches on the wall on the floor above all the cabinets from the kitchen to the inside of the refrigerator of all sizes we immediately called Vrbo to report what was happening and that we couldn't stay there. We didn't want to sit on the chairs or touch anything, kindly the vrbo staff told us that because of the time they couldn't give us another place to go so we stayed up all night. and we were told that he would give us the return of what we paid plus apart would give us the expenses of the place where we were going to stay, but we had to rent a hotel through expedia which we the. But never receive any payment for the hotel

Very Disappointed - lack of cleanliness

This was a weekend getaway and we managed to get through the stay. I was looking forward to a great first-time experience at Lake Travis. I agreed with the previous renter. For the price, I would NOT rent this place again. I hope the information below would be helpful for future renters. Pros: This property has a great view of the lake from the living and the patio. Cons: 1. Our biggest issue is the cleanliness of the property. 2. The bathrooms (top and bottom floor) were dirty and outdated. Maybe there were no pictures of the bathrooms for a reason. Still, the bathroom upstairs door does not lock. 3. The bath towels had an odor and we had to rewash them. 4. The bottom floor bedroom has a separate entrance, for future renter awareness with kids. This room was noisy coming from the water pressure in the bathroom. Both the room and bathroom were dirty, had an odor, and were very outdated for sure. We had an issue with the toilet and avoided using it. 5. The beds did not have any flat sheets and comforter covers. The house didn't come with a blanket, flat sheet, and pillow covers for the sofa bed. 6. The game room and sofa were dirty and the ping pong table was broken. We were looking forward to spending time in the game room but that didn't happen. 7. This property could use some curb appeal around the house. It looked sketchy and run down when we first arrived at the property. 8. It was inconvenient to bring the trash bags to the front of the street which required you to drive.

Good could be wonderful with a few small changes

We drove up and were initially wowed with the property until we could not get in. We realized the "code" we received on the email with all the instructions for the property was only a code for the wifi. We stood outside for half an hour trying to reach the property manager for a code to get into the house. Once in, the home was great. Very comfortable upgrades and furnishings. Would be nice if there were 2 baths upstairs. I was fine with it, but my mother-in-law was not too pleased. Kids mostly used the downstairs bedroom, but were scared to sleep downstairs by themselves as it is a separate enclosure from the rest of the house. Would be nice for 2 couples, but not a whole family who wants to stick together (just fyi). On the bright side, I loved that the home was off the beaten path and was so peaceful and beautiful. Nature everywhere and the view was spectacular. Pros: linens were clean and comfortable/nice down comforters view - awesome decks-awesome SUP board-fun! separate "casita" if needed washer/dryer came in handy game room - kids loved it wooded area - nice for walks/nature lovers-lots of bunnies! located on cove of lake, great for swimming and close to boat rentals/water park cons: coffee pot - PLEASE replace! it is on its last leg! pillows-flat! had to buy our own in town and bring back game room in not air conditioned-didn't bother me, but my some people in my family complained... 2nd bath - must walk outside, downstairs - not good for rainy days or elderly people/young children dock-has separated from land and you must walk through the water and then back up metal ramp to get on - not so great- please correct this for your guests so we may enjoy the dock for fishing/swimming lack of towels-there are not too many towels in the house (6-8 at most) and we felt like we were using the good bath towels for the lake-maybe some beach towels would be nice. property manager-please be sure to include the key code on your welcome letter to renters-it was very frustrating not to get in upon arrival. string lights on balcony/trees are burned out-would have been nice to see them All in all a very pretty property, just a few upgrades and corrections and it could be great! :)
