We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The property is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly well appointed—everything you could possibly need is there. The lake views from every room in the house are stunning and made the entire experience feel peaceful and special. Katie was a fantastic host: responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would happily return. Highly recommend!

Hi Chris, as we discussed when you booked, you were booking last minute just after we had some major storms come through and I told you I wouldn't be able to go see the house before you arrived but you still wanted to book the property and I even discounted your stay due to possible unforeseen issues with the last minute booking. I wish you had made me aware of these issues ruining your trip during your stay because I would have had our maintenance guys out there right away to blow off the leaves and fix the fan and vents. I'm not sure what responses you did not find satisfactory. Since we were in close communication leading up to your stay, I'm not sure why you chose to leave this review instead of just asking me for help during your stay. It took weeks for this review to post and I would have much rather helped to make your stay as pleasant as possible at the time. To future guests reading this review, please know that over the winter, we have done work to the house to reinforce the siding and correct any water damage from the storms last year. Blinds and fans are operable so you have nothing to worry about booking our home. I am always easily reachable and we have reliable maintenance contacts close by if you do happen to have an issue during your stay. If you are concerned at all, please feel free to reach out to me. We also appreciate your kind comments about communication and overall comfort during your stay. Thank you as well for pointing out a few items that could be clearer for future guests. You were absolutely correct that the home has three full bathrooms, and we’ve updated the listing. During your stay, Lake Travis was at an unusually low level, which made the walk to the dock longer and more difficult than normal. Since then, the lake level has risen significantly, making dock access much easier, though there are still quite a few stairs involved, which we note for guests in our listing and house instructions. The stairs now extend directly to the dock, and the lower stairs that normally sit underwater are once again submerged as intended. We also appreciate the feedback regarding the entry keypads. Guests are given one code that works for both exterior doors, and the second keypad entrance is there to provide an additional access door to the home. We’ve updated our instructions to make that clearer for future guests. Regarding the paddle boards, those are personal items we occasionally leave available for guests to use if they’d like, but they are not listed amenities since they remain outdoors on the dock and naturally experience wear from weather and lake conditions over time. They are not guaranteed to be present or in usable condition during every stay. Thank you again for your balanced and helpful review.
