The depth of cleanliness wax definitely up to my standard but was offered to have a cleaning team come in to fix my issues but at that point I dint want my stay to be interrupted and chose to clean upMyself but was compensated.

Sailboat Inn

Phenomenal location, easy walk to the beach, central location. The path to the beach is along a road that can be slightly busy at times, but the path is wide and the walk is only about 5 minutes with a 3 year old. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and the central location.

Cool beach house

We enjoyed staying here for the weekend. The hidden trail to the beach was amazing. Saw lots of deer! The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and it was very nice to have a washer and dryer to use.

Sailboat Inn Beach House

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and comfortable and a short walk to the beach, including a coffee shop/baker and store so it was very conveniently located. The house included everything we wanted and more (extra blankets, beach towels, a fully stocked kitchen, games, toiletries, W/D, pet friendly). We would highly recommend this beach rental for families.

A great place for a family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was pretty clean aside from some linens that had some type of stains. You can tell the owners are clearly pro dog because they had dog bowls and even some emergency dog food in a cupboard.

Perfect!

A Pacific City house in need of upgrading

Upon walking up to the house you realize that it is on a busy road with traffic sounds but once inside you only hear the noisier ones going by. The kitchen is supplied with enough utensils and pans but there are only enough glasses for one meal (6) and then you have to wash. The kitchen table only has 3 chairs and one short stool but if you locate the folding chairs you can use them. You cannot look out the windows from the kitchen table because the blinds are broken. Vacasa was very quick to offer a handyperson to come out to fix them but we were leaving for the day so didn't want someone coming in. The house badly needs a plumber to visit: the downstairs toilet fills and makes a noise every 5 minutes and the shower drips constantly. Both bathrooms need new toilet seats because the old ones are chipped and the sink plungers are missing, making it impossible to put on one's contacts. On the positive side: the internet works well, the refrigerator and dishwasher work well and the TV is large but you can't get anything on it for free. In summary; this house is not up to Vacasa's usual standards but if you just want a place to sleep (on overly soft beds) and don't mind old rough towels after showering it would be ok. Communication with Vacasa was excellent but they won't be the ones to decide what to improve at the house.

Recommend- very comfy for a family of 5 or many more!

Close to beach (but wouldn't walk sure to narrow road and traffic), nice layout. Had everything we needed. The garage is there but not usable (locked) which was a bummer in the rain for loading/unloading car and not tracking things in the house. Lots of towels and throw blankets provided. No welcome book - would have been nice to know the ins and outs and what was expected of us at checkout. We found hidden USB ports downstairs on the 2nd day which was really nice because we forgot our bricks to plug in our chargers. (There are no USB ports provided in the bedrooms.) Inside doors are thin and let light in - not a lot of privacy from other guests. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind. The front stairs are slick and we had 3 falls. Also the middle stair light is out - that would have helped. Upstairs shower head is like getting shot with needles. I love it if they invested in a $40 replacement. It would be nice to have that one last touch to feel like your pampered on your stay. It was really nice to have the extra table and chairs in a closet. Thanks for providing that!

disappointed

We splurged on this rental for our anniversary weekend and were pretty bummed out. There was a loud animal living in the walls of the master bedroom. It kept us up the first night and we had to move into separate rooms (we can`t sleep comfortably together in a bed smaller than a king) to try to sleep (we could still hear it but not as loud). Not enough hot water for a bath (not even close) we spent an hour heating water on the stove but it cooled so quickly I ultimately took a luke warm bath. Had to provide our own firewood, which seems unreasonable considering the cost of the rental. The walk to the beach was along a crowded road without sidewalks or shoulders, it was dangerous and we ended up driving. So the reasons we chose this house (king bed, fireplace, beach proximity, bathtub) were all faulty. We`re hoping for Turnkey to make amends. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

HOUSE NEEDS UPDATING

meh. We had good company, but for the price, please help to review this house and implement some structural + aesthetic updates.Teh living rooom furniture also does not feel very clean and i would like to stress the removal of throw pillows from these home rentals This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
