Enjoy this lovely 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Kiawah villa rental located on the first floor of the Mariners Watch villa complex, just a short stroll to the beach or Night Heron Park.

The open plan living area features a sleeper sofa, rocking chair and brand new flat screen TV. The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances and amenities with a dining table for sharing meals and planning your day of island adventures. Relax on the screened porch overlooking the tranquil lagoon after a fun-filled day riding bikes, fishing, or simply lounging on the beach.

4262 Mariners Watch comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests in a master suite with a king bed and a new sleeper sofa in the living area to accommodate 2 additional guests. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combo and is accessed from the hallway and master suite.

Mariners Watch Villas offer a true seaside retreat just steps from the beach in Kiawah Island’s central East Beach Village. East Beach Village is the heart of Kiawah Island, anchored by the 21-acre Night Heron Park and legendary Sanctuary Hotel. East Beach offers the best of both worlds with easy access to Kiawah’s 10 miles of beautiful beaches and a central hub of activity for the whole family with a relaxed, social atmosphere.

You’re within walking or biking distance to Kiawah Island’s top activities, attractions and easy grocery shopping at the Town Center Market. Enjoy family-friendly activities and island celebrations at Night Heron Park, shopping and dining at The Sanctuary Hotel, award-winning tennis at the Roy Barth Tennis Center, and world-class golf at Turtle Point Golf Course. Kiwa Island is absolutely beautiful and perfect and is pretty much the only reason this condo deserves three stars and not one. The location of the condo is pretty ideal where it is very close to Knight here in Park and a really short walk to the beach. I will say every single place to stay on cure is a short walk to the beach though. This condo has not been changed or updated or improved in anyway since probably the 70s. It was also not very clean with other people’s clothing and shoes found under the bed meaning it was not properly cleaned and cobwebs on the porch that appear like they’ve been there for months and months. Screen porch is patched and or has holes in various places.

Mariner’s Watch Villa Perfect Place to Stay

Close to the beach…clean…perfect for 2 people. We have been coming to Kiawah for 40 years. I would recommend a larger mirror somewhere in the villa. A very small one is in the bathroom. For the price, this villa was all we needed for a short vacation at the beautiful island of Kiawah.

Dirty and uncomfortable

The carpet was filthy. We took pictures in case we needed proof it was like that when we arrived. Tiny mirror in the bathroom over the sink and no mirror in the bedroom to use as an alternative. The shower curtain didn’t fit and there was mold in the bathroom. The sheets wouldn’t stay on the mattress which we discovered had a plastic cover on it. The bed is hard and couch is uncomfortable. The keyless entry lock was extremely difficult to operate. No guidance on locating beach access. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed the time there.

Needs Updating

Great location if going to the beach, but the property desperately needs updating. The carpeting is stained. There is rust in the freezer. Much of the cookware is scorched or scratched. The price charged per night with fees should be applied to a much nicer property.

Perfect beach and location!

I can’t say enough great things about Kiawah Island and this villa was perfect - so close to the beach, just a short few steps across the property. Kiawah was one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen - wide expanse, not crowded even on a holiday week. Paradise! The villa was easy to access and had just what was needed for a great few days.

Needs updating

The bathroom needs updating. I would be ok with the rusty fridge if it was only on the outside. But rust on the outside and interior of a fridge on the most beautiful resort island on the Atlantic? Kitchen could use some better cookware. The management did kindly respond promptly to a concern I had which was nice as it was Memorial Day weekend. Someone just needs to give a little tlc and it would be wonderful!

Lovely getaway at a great location!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The location is so perfect, a bike ride away from all the beautiful sights we love to visit! We spent most of our days outdoors, enjoying all the beautiful things nature has to offer and taking hundreds of pictures of course as well. The villa itself could do with a few updates, like the very noisy washing machine (the spin cycle), the chandelier could use a dimmer as the lightbulbs are way to bright, the sliding door lock needs fixing as we locked ourselves out while at the porch and had to call for help to get back inside the villa! Despite those few "ailments" we had a wonderful stay at the villa and would certainly consider to come back! Thank you for having us! Kind regards, Stephan and Marianne.

Kiawah apt

While the location was excellent, there is a lot of deferred maintenance needing work: oven is broken, door handle on slider broken, light switches need adjustment. Fitted sheets for bed do not fit. Also, kitchen equipment is marginal. I would likely not stay here again.

Access sucked. If codes must be entered put the pad high enough to be see without getting on your knees Someone should insulate the ceilings because you hear every move from the unit above and the residents were no obnoxious

Relaxing getaway

Great time relaxing on the screened in porch and watching the birds. Location had everything we needed for cooking meals and was a quick bike ride to the Sanctuary.

Good place to stay for the week.

It was a nice place that had what we wanted for the week. The location was great. It was easy to bike to central locations and it is a quick walk to the beach.

Family and I enjoyed our stay. Not a far drive from John's Island. Close to grocery store and shopping. Check in was keypad entry. Easy to come and go.
