Clean, comfortable, well maintained and close to beach. Beach is fabulous.Communication with owner excellent. I had mixed up days and had to add a day on the front end of the week. Owner was more than accommodating and able to make changes on spur of the moment.Highly recommended A
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed Kiawah Island, in large part due to our stay in Jenniferâs lovely home. The condo was clean, well appointed, and with plenty of space for 4 adults. We loved the balcony and proximity to the beach. We felt very safe and rested really well. We would absolutely come back to Jenniferâs home, and Iâm sure you will feel the same!
We had a short stay but really enjoyed it. We were in town for some golf with friends. The location is excellent. The accommodations and rental process was excellent.
We stayed during Spring break with our 3 kids ages 10,8, and 1. We all voted and agreed this was the best family vacation to date! The condo was clean and had everything you needed! Jennifer was wonderful and welcoming. The location was incredible and such a short walk to the beach. We rented bikes and never got back in the car. We biked to The Nest for coffee and events. It was about a 10 minute bike to The Sanctuary where we enjoyed ice cream and drinks. We canât wait to go back!
What a lovely stay. Lots of happy memories made! Everything was super easy from check in to departure. We LOVED hopping on the bike trail right behind the condo. Will plan to stay again! Kiawah is a forever favorite.
Bucket list two nights on the Island. Owners info about chair rentals, bikes, local grocery , restaurants and other Must sees was key! First time to SC and Charleston and these nights on Kiawah Island were absolute paradise! Condo is sooo convenient to easily walk to beach! Lovely little porch nestled in treetops was so relaxing after long days!
Everything was as expected. Short walk to the beach and the hosts notes helped us find restaurants and other facilities. Golf in the area was outstanding and very expensive.
We came here for a long weekend with 2 kids. The house was great. Plenty of essentials, you just need to bring dishwasher tabs, laundry soap and coffee filters. It really is just a 2-3 min walk to beach and the trail is right downstairs. Easy check in and good communication with host. We had no issues and will definitely book again!
My wife and I decided to make a last minute quick trip to Kiawah Island. This condo was available and we quickly booked and had a lovely stay. A short walk to the beach was a plus. Getting tickets to the Mingo Point Oyster Roast was icing on the cake !
The location of the property and ease of access of the beach was amazing! Our trip was impacted by a hurricane and on the good days of the trip we were back and forth to the beach during the clearer periods. Making that trip back and forth to the beach with two young boys was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There was plenty of space for the four of us and we enjoyed our time here.
Property was very clean and comfortable. We had an extremely difficult year so we wanted peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. Would highly recommend staying here if you need to relax and decompress. The ocean was too cold for swimming. It would have been over the top with access to a heated pool but still a wonderful place to stay.
This VRBO was perfect for my family on a get away to a beautiful Kiawah. The beach is a safe 2 min walk along one of the trails. You cannot ask for closer. Apartment was well stocked with all you need, including beach chairs etc. Owner readily followed up on any queries. I want to book again!
Ito was totally quiet and relaxing. The only fault was stairs. It was my error in not asking. I have to use a cane to steady
myself. So, that was a hindrance....otherwise, we would
choose this condo again.
Jennifer was very quick in responding any question we had.
King size bed ok but twin beds very uncomfortable. Toppers that did not fit, shifted and moved throughout the night making it impossible to have a good night sleep. Knives in kitchen not sharp and some handles broken upon arrival. The spatulas and cutting boards were dollar store quality and the expectation would be for better products. Coffee mugs were scarce and need replacing. The toilet in the master bedroom was loose and rocked.
Kiawah Island has a beauty all its own. The first time my family and I visited we fell in love. It was like being in your own magical island, yet only 30 minutes from downtown Charleston. When you drive down Kiawah Island Parkway, it is hard to believe that this island is a beach resort, not just a maritime forest. I think Kiawah provides an atmosphere of relaxation that is extremely rare these days. The natural beauty on the peaceful 10 miles of private beach, the 25+ miles of bike trails, fishing, top notch dining options, tennis, golf, and abundant activities called us to make Kiawah our second home. So, come and enjoy our southern hospitality and relax a while on Kiawah Island.
Twisted Oaks, as we lovingly call our villa, is located steps from the beach. Kiawah Island beach was ranked in the top ten beaches of 2016 by Dr. Beach. The beach, golf, tennis, biking, walking, fishing, boating, food, and natural beauty of Kiawah Island make it a unique vacation destination to which no other place can compare. Our villa is located in the epicenter of it all. Once we arrive we don't move the car until it is time to go home, because we enjoy riding our bike or walking everywhere we like to go. When we do leave, we always make sure to have plans to return before we drive off the island.
