This property sits on the beach, GREAT View of the Gulf from the Back Porch!
Located at: 5203 Gulf Drive, Panama City Beach, FL, This Beach House has 3 Bedrooms; is 2,009 sq ft of open space. Great for Family Reunions/Vacations/Events. This Beach House is just a few steps away from the ever-popular locals and tourist's favorite spot; SCHOONERS! Also conveniently located within 2 to 5 miles of everything you need for your stay. Enjoy the sun from the large back deck that overlooks the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This house features large, open rooms with plenty of seating for family gatherings. The open floor plan and kitchen has an island with a breakfast bar, and there is an additional dining area for extra seating. The large master bedroom features a king bed and a twin bed, and the master bath has a tub and a separate walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds.

Rooney's Beach House is just off the famous Thomas Drive, the heartbeat of Panama City Beach. With tons of shops, restaurants, and nightlife nearby, there's always more fun to be had. St. Andrews State Park, which is also close by and has walking trails, fishing, a pier, quiet beaches, and campgrounds. You can't ask for a better location!

Location is amazing

The home has a warm family feeling. Beach access was incredible. Schooners nearby is a plus with a great menu if you don’t feel like taveling

Perfect Getaway

Everything about this trip was wonderful. My adult kids and I went for my birthday and it was perfect. I loved being right on the beach. The house was represented well in the VRBO description. It felt like our own oasis among the busyness of Panama City.

If I could give more stars for location I would! Maybe 100 easy steps from the back door to the ocean. The beach house is just as pictured. Had everything we needed except a grill so we brought our own. Communication was very quick and informative before and during our trip. Definitely would go back!

Nice place, dated and needed cleaned

House is in perfect location, right on the beach. Convenient to just walk right out and be at the water. Home was dated but was overall nice and renters were quick to respond when we had an unexpected water outage. One complaint is that the home was dirty. The couch was covered in hair when we arrived. We used nearly a whole lint roller to clean it enough to sit on. A few pillows on the bed was also covered in hair. Rugs and carpeted areas were also covered in hair. That made it difficult with a baby that crawls, no surface was clean enough to let her roam. I understand it’s pet friendly, but that’s no excuse not to clean between renters. Every single piece of furniture was extremely uncomfortable. We usually wouldn’t need to use it much, however the time we were there it rained quite a bit so we were forced to stay inside. For the cost of this place, they could afford some updated furniture and to have a decent cleaning crew come in. Overall a good stay, but the cleanliness and discomfort of furniture was an issue for everyone in the group.

Perfect location. No fussing with elevators or parking decks. Walk straight from the back deck to the sand. Schooners is a rock’s throw and we walked over. House is big and clean. Beds comfortable. Working laundry machines and refrigerator with ice maker. Highly recommend!

Love this location and house! It needs TLC. Last stay the bedding was not on the beds, and time we had no trash bags. Otherwise it’s great.

A week away

Property came as advertised. I had no issues other than the oven quit working on us once. Not great communication through the app. But if you call them they answer every time. Loved it will be back as soon as i get my summer schedule for next year.

Beautiful Front Row Home

2 besties and our children fell in love with this classic beach house. Being front row and 2 doors down from Schooners was perfection. The house is dated, but in a perfectly quaint and classic way. There is so much space and the home had everything we needed! The porch has beautiful views and the beach is absolute perfection. Communication with the company was quick and seamless. We will definitely be returning!!

Directly on the beach! Kitchen had everything we needed. Washer and dryer worked great. Overall we would stay again and again.

Just okay

Location is amazing - right on the beach, table on the porch to eat dinner outside. We absolutely loved that!However, the house is definitely dated and could use a really good deep clean and a lot of updates. Master bed had a mattress topper on it and was not comfortable at all. Not sure we would stay here again but did love the location and porch!

Excellent beach location

Excellent beachfront location. Covered porch overlooking the ocean was amazing. We even got to see a doe and buck run along the beach and swim out into the ocean some 100 yards then head toward St. Andrews park.

Oceanfront Views

Despite restaurants nearby, all of our meals were on the deck of this home, with beautiful sunsets in the evening. We loved the sturdy dining table & chairs on the deck & the rocking chairs. We also appreciated the large living room/kitchen, with its wood floors, that faces the beach - so comfortable. Overall, a wonderful vacation at this beach home.

Very Dirty!!!!

Upon arriving at the house we were met with a very dirty house with mouse droppings on the counter and in the drawers. We spent the first night deep cleaning the entire house. The house next to us was under construction so we had loud noise all day. The furniture in the house is very outdated. The ONLY redeeming quality of the house is its location. Very short walk to the beach.

The house needs some attention. My son got multiple insect bites in master bedroom, the king size mattress needs to be replaced you just roll to the middle when sleeping we have addressed this on previous visits.

The property was terrific. We enjoyed our stay. Possibly a few more details could be explained in the check-in email (such as where to find wifi password, what is expected at checkout, etc). Overall, terrific place to stay.
