Maison de luxe à Sarasota avec vue sur le lac

Belle maison située à 10 minutes de Siesta Key Beach, élue meilleure plage d'Amérique # 1! La maison a plus de 2 800 pieds carrés, avec des planchers de bambou chauds de couleur miel dans toute la maison. Deux grands espaces de vie séparés avec de hauts plafonds. La chambre principale a sa propre porte qui s'ouvre sur la piscine. Une chambre d'hôtes a une baie vitrée avec un siège de fenêtre confortable. La deuxième chambre d'hôtes a un bureau intégré et des tiroirs intégrés. L'architecture autour de la piscine est unique (avec vue sur le golf et le lac) et est entourée d'un paysage luxuriant pour plus d'intimité. La faune regorge d'oiseaux et de cerfs. Si vous choisissez de dîner, la cuisine offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer un bon repas. Il a des armoires en merisier, des comptoirs en granit, des fours doubles et un grand garde-manger pour ranger tous vos favoris! Détendez-vous dans la piscine après une journée passée sur l'eau et à la plage. Certains endroits préférés à visiter que je suggère sont Myakka River State Park, Lido Beach, St. Armands Circle, Anna Maria Island, Selby Botanical Gardens, Jungle Gardens, Mote Marine Aquarium, The Ringling Museum of Art, Longboat Key, Busch Gardens, and the Big Cat Habitat. Les îles Sanibel et Captiva sont également à une courte distance en voiture. Le terrain de golf dans la communauté est un parcours de golf de 18 trous et est ouvert au public avec le club-house à moins de 1/2 mile de distance.

Golf, natation, plages et navigation de plaisance

La maison est à 11 km de la plage. Vous pouvez littéralement être sur la plage avec le parapluie installé, dans les 25 minutes suivant la décision. Je pense que l'une des meilleures choses à propos de l'emplacement est que si vous aimez le golf, nous sommes à 800 mètres du club-house et il est ouvert au public. Si vous aimez la navigation de plaisance, nous sommes à quelques minutes de plusieurs marinas et points de location de bateaux. Il y a d'excellents endroits pour la planche à voile, le kitesurf, le kayak, le canoë et la pêche à moins de 10 miles de la maison.

First winter in Florida

Our overall impression of our stay had mixed reviews. On the upside, the home has wonderful character, the pictures on the website line up well with the actual house, it's in a great Golf Course community with friendly people living nearby. The property itself is really good. The issues we encountered were with the overall neglect of the property. There are several maintenance issues that need attention. The homeowner will need to attend to these issues before they become bigger problems down the road, The house also was not cleaned prior to us checking in. We had to purchase cleaning supplies and spent quite a bit of our time getting the home cleaned up. The homeowner is very nice but difficult to contact quickly when there are problems. She is always willing to take care of items that need attention however most of these issues should be taken care of before guest check in. It would be an easy fix for the home owner to hire a management company to take over responsibility of keeping the home lease ready. We enjoyed our stay but understand most of these issues could be avoided.

This was truly a home away from home!

We were lucky enough to spend 4 months in this BEAUTIFUL home. The house is well appointed, spotless, furnished beautifully and has the most amazing views! It is centrally located for beaches, shopping and anything else you might need. It was often difficult for us "leave campus" as the view is truly magnificent. Who would have thought that city dwellers would become avid bird watchers, but when you sit outside and watch the birds diving for fish; it's truly a sight to behold. No other entertainment is needed! Angie and her family made us feel welcome, answered all our questions and were very accommodating. We loved our vist in this home!

A Wonderful Place To Escape To From The Northern Winters

We are a retired couple visiting from Toronto, Canada. What a wonderful place to escape the winter blahs and cold. We arrived on the 1st of February and are here until the 30th of April. Although there were just the two of us originally, we will be having family and friends down to stay with us for a week or two at a time for most of our stay, which is why we took on this lovely, big home. Everything the reviewers below mention is true and we can't add much more to their wonderful reviews. Tall, high ceilings, they must be about 12'-13' high, make the rooms seem even larger than they are. Six people would not feel in any way cramped or crowded in this very spacious home. The lanai is just a superb feature of this home and whiling the day away in it is a wonderful, lazy way to spend a morning or afternoon. Angie is always ready to please and help out in any way she can. You can't help but have a vacation to remember here.

Beautiful retreat

Our stay in Angie and Ray's home has been nothing short of wonderful. Comfortable, fully equipped and close to every activity we came up with, the house has been a warm, safe haven away from the terrible Massachusetts winter. Angie has been been kind and responsive to every question and request from the moment we decided to rent. As others have mentioned on this site, renting a property based on online information can be a risky undertaking, but renting this home is a guarantee of a great vacation. We are grateful for the opportunity.

THE IDEAL VACATION HOME

We stayed in Ray and Angie's house from February 1st through 28th, 2011. The second we walked in the door we loved everything about the house. Their flair for decorating shows in everything from the top end appliances and furniture to the art work on the pillars around the lanai. OOOOOOhhhhh...that lania!!! We started every morning there drinking our coffee and ended each night looking up at the stars. The house came fully equipped with everything from sheets to pots and pans. It was an added bonus to have a washer and dryer (also top of the line) on the premises. The pool area is absolutely beautiful. Whether we were swimming or just lazing in the jacuzzi, the location is so peaceful and private, you feel like you are in your own resort. Of course, if you want entertainment, there are always golfers on the other side of the lake and a alligator (we named him "Mortimer") swimming in the lake to keep you entertained. We played a round of golf at their course and had a great time although we lost 15 golf balls in the water. Guess we were very entertaining to anyone watching us too! We were heart broken when the community changed the rental rules to a minimum of 3 months because we would have definitely been back next year for a month. We have been vacationing in the Sarasota area for a few years and have our favorite beaches and restaurants so we were very pleased to find this house is centrally located to all the best Sarasota has to offer. Don't forget to catch sunset while eating dinner at Sparky's! If you have 3 months...this is THE HOUSE to stay in. Our thanks once again to our hosts, Angie and Ray!

Great Villa - Great Location - Great Holiday!

Unless you know the property you're renting, you're always taking a bit of a gamble when renting a villa off the internet and quite often it can make or break your holiday. Well, you won't be disappointed with this one! It is beautifully decorated and furnished, the lanai area and patio furniture etc are excellent as is the outlook over the pond and the golf course. The pictures on the web site of the Deer are not a one off either, we saw them many times in the morning and was able to get close enough to take a picture from the other side of the lanai. We also saw 2 crocs or gaiters (not sure which) making their way across the pond. Sitting on the patio in the morning is something that will stay with us for a long time. As for the location, the development is beautiful and is ideally situated for driving to Siesta Key, St Armands, Anna Maria Island, Venice, Stumps Pass beach (for finding sharks teeth) and Boca Grande. Also there are nearby supermarkets and restaurants on Clark Rd. The owners Angie and Ray, could not be more helpful and contacted us by email / phone to make sure everything was ok. All in all it made for a great holiday and we would definitely return

Great Home................Fantastic Vacation Area

We rented Ray and Angie's lovely home in Sarasota for the month of March 2011. This was our first trip to the area and we enjoyed the beaches, restaurants and all that the area has to offer. The house has a lot of space which came in handy when our daughter and son's families visited for five days. It is a fantastic house in a gated community on a golf course. The grandchildren and adults enjoyed many hours in and around the pool. Our young grandsons named the alligator that came around every once in a while in the lake behind the house Bob. You are only minutes away from the club house if you wish to play golf. Angie and Ray were very helpful and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely rent this house again if we vacation in the Sarasota area again. GREAT VACATION

Absolutely wonderful!

We can't say enough good things about this absolutely beautiful home. This is our 2nd stay here in 18 months and we consider it our home away from home. It's not only beautiful but well equipped and nicely located close to the beach, restaurants and highways which gave us easy access to exploring all the great things to see and do in Sarasota county. We can't wait to go back!

Sarasota Bliss - Perfect Family Vacation

Spacious and luxurious accomodations were accurate in the owners description. This gated property backs up to a beautiful lake with a golf course across the lake. The property was beautiful, quiet, and so enjoyable. The pool and all amentities were fantastic. We have recommended this property to friends and family. The Siesta Key beach is within a 10 minute drive with great public accesses. The beach was beyond beautiful with cool white quartz sand that was cool to the touch. No flip flops required. The water so pristine you could see your pink toenail polish from shoulder high water. Great shopping at St. Armands Circle and good food everywhere. This is a property you must see to enjoy!!!

Beautiful home and setting...great vacation spot!"

"I fell in love with this house from the pictures on the website but, from prior experience, knew the "real thing" might be totally different. Well, I was wrong. From the moment you walk in the door, you can't help but be impressed with the flair for decorating down to the last detail in the accessories. The floor plan with the master suite on one side of the house and two bedrooms plus an office on the other easily accommodate 6 people. Having three "public" spaces (living room, family room and lanai) really helped when my daughter and I wanted to escape to read while the men were engrossed in sports on television. The office was equipped with a desk for two people to work easily with their computers....seems to be a requirement these days even on vacation. We spent Christmas there with our "children" and spouses often with two cooks in the beautifully-equipped kitchen feeling right at home. As for the view, one of our favorite memories is waking up in the morning to see the lake out our bedroom window and listening to the birds.....even made friends with a couple who paraded across the lawn each morning. :-) Each morning started with coffee on the lanai again with a view of the lake and the golf course which, by the way, is open to the public and beautiful. The house is only about 15 minutes from Siesta Beach which we loved.....plenty of parking, restaurants and loads of room even during the holidays. The sunsets on the beach are breathtaking! The heart of Sarasota is an easy drive north by expressway and well worth seeing. Finally, the owners definitely go overboard to make your stay special. In fact, even before we arrived, she called to give us a list of restaurants and attractions and ask about any special needs we might have. This house is more than just a rental house to the owners. It has been their home for years and the maintenance and attention to detail attest to that. We'll definitely return!

Out of all the beautiful coastal areas, Sarasota is one of my favorites. When I was in college in Tampa, my girlfriends and I would make the hour drive to Sarasota to experience more beaches and lots of culture! It is just as gorgeous now as it was then. Once you dig your toes into the cool, powdery soft sand you'll understand why people come from all over the world to relax and play on the various beaches here. The home is a culmination of over 10 years of dedicated decorating, utilizing the very best in materials. From the bamboo floors to the sliding doors that open to the spacious pool area, I feel confident you will enjoy your stay in this Florida lifestyle home. Come and see for yourself!

Once you walk in the door, you will see bright, beautiful views of the stunning golf course and lake. Arched doorways and tall ceilings make it open, airy and spacious. Situated on a half acre, and designed to maximize the view, privacy in the home is one of its best features! Relax in the pool as you watch the palm trees sway. The home is all on one level and is perfect for families and for grand children to visit!
