Just minutes from Pate’s Ford Marina and FishLipz Bar and Grill, sits a fully renovated oasis on a half-acre patch of rolling, wooded bliss. Don’t forget to bring your boat!! It will be snug as a bug under our extra-large carport. The sprawling front porch is the perfect spot to wake up and enjoy your morning coffee. (Front porch does have a ring camera for security purposes) The screened-in family room at the back of the house is an ideal spot for a game night after a day spent on the lake or out exploring one of the many beautiful state parks in the area. On the main floor of this fully renovated cabin, you will find custom cabinetry and new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. There are 2 tranquil queen bedrooms, 2 luxurious full bathrooms, as well as a new full-sized washer and dryer on the main floor. The second floor loft area is perfectly situated for kids’ movie or games area, and has a third bedroom with 1 full and 2 twin beds. We can’t wait to see you at our Red Roof Retreat.

Cabin was so cute and clean. It rained while we were there and the back porch was so cozy!

Fantastic location next to the marina. The house is well furnished. They even include a couple of laundry pods and shampoo/conditioner. We will be back.

Girls trip

Our stay was perfect. It was roomy for 8 of us to sleep and enjoy ourselves. Lots of games to choose from. Loved the decor. Outside was good too we spent the majority of our time in the screened in room. The only downfall was the hot tub did not work however we notified and given the option to stay or not and we made the decision stay so that was on us. I’m so glad we did.

Great Place to stay

The house is so cosy and clean. The owners helped on any communication straight away which made our stay really nice. Being away at the holiday time is a special time and the Christmas tree and cookies and hot chocolate supplied were really lovely touches. Thank you very much for our great stay. It’s location is close to everywhere we wanted to go.

Was the perfect getaway for the weekend!

I booked this cabin for a lake getaway with a couple of my girls and it was perfect! The house was so clean and the perfect size for all 8 of us. Dana was a great communicator! The location was also very convenient since we were out on Pates Ford all day! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Relaxing Cabin

The Family loved the cabin. A great location to all the state parks we wanted to visit and right next to the lake. The house was clean and well equipped. My favorite spot was the porch. It has a couch, games, dart board and a hot tub. We didn't have a single issue with the cabin and would love to stay again.

Excellent Experience

It was a wonderful cozy cabin located very close to Pates Ford Marina. Our hosts had the cabin ready and waiting for us. The were so accommodating and easy to work with. The cabin was very clean and we had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend booking this lovely cabin. We will definitely book it again.

Perfect spot for a quiet couple’s getaway

My husband and I loved our stay at this adorable home. While the location was far removed from town, it was an absolutely perfect location for the quiet weekend we needed. We picked up groceries on our way in and never left the house til we checked out! It was a bitterly cold weekend but the hot tub was toasty warm and we stayed in til we were prunes. The kitchen is small but well-appointed. The decor is chic and modern. It was a refreshing change from stereotypical lake or mountain cabin decor. I do suggest arriving during the daytime. Once you leave the main highway, you’ll have quite a haul down a winding two lane road. It was foggy the night we arrived so we had to take our time. We found the way out was MUCH easier thanks to having daylight!

Dirty and Dusty

Toilet in bathroom was broken and the temporary solution was to lift up the tank lid and manually flush. I much dust and dirt had to clean everything before we used it. No dishwashing pods provided. So many spiders, no air vent in bathroom or outlets. Would not recommend.

Perfect for families

This updated home was beautifully decorated, and one of the first VRBOs we have ever stayed with enough dishware so that we didn’t have to wash dishes after every meal. Very nice and quiet. The owner was very responsive.

Obsessed with this place!!

This place was even better than expected. Super cozy with perfect amenities to make your stay a great getaway! Cover outdoor fire pit with tons of logs to keep your fire going, hot tub on the back porch that is also covered (it rained while we were there so this was a great perk!). It is also just a short walk to the marina! My two best girl friends and I can’t wait to make this an annual trip to this cabin!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Week!

We loved our stay at Dana and Grant’s Red Roof Inn! What a wonderful time we enjoyed together celebrating Thanksgiving! The home is stocked with pots and pans, spices and plenty of dishes and utensils too. The beds are so comfortable, there is plenty of space, and the decor is perfect! I wish we could give 10 stars! Dana suggested we grab our groceries in Smithville, and that worked out perfectly! We love Food Lion! We explored Edgar Evins, Rock Island, Cookeville and historic Smithville too. Dana is very welcoming, the Best hostess and communicator, and provided everything we needed for our stay. Thank you!

Great host. Nice cabin. Very clean. As pictured but smaller rooms than looks like in the pictures. Mattresses not great, could stand to be upgraded. Very out of the way location even though it is in a neighborhood. Be prepared to do a lot of driving to do anything.

My family consists of me, my husband Grant, our 3 young children and stubborn dog! We live in Nolensville, TN which is about an hour and a half away from Smithville.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

In Smithville, you can choose lake views or lake access and we chose lake access. We are literally 3 minutes away from Pate's Ford Marina so whether you bring your boat or plan on renting one, we have you covered. I also love this property because I have young,
very active kids. The houses in the hills are magnificent and have amazing views, but for me and to ease my anxiety when it comes to heights, I wanted a property where my kids and my dog can run around outside or bring their bikes and ride if they want.
