Amazing location near market, restaurants/bars, beach, train stations, etc. super accessible to other towns nearby! It was a little noisy at nighttime if you slept with windows open. Overall great time for 2 couples to stay at.
Quite certain there is no better location in all of Nice. Literally on the main strip, but high enough that your room is quiet and cozy. Steps from morning markets, day/night restaurants, clubs, and beach clubs. We had the most unforgettable trip. Delia was very responsive throughout the booking process, and met us on check in day to make sure we were settled. Can't recommend this property enough.
This small but clean two-bedroom apartment was delightfully close to a beautiful outdoor market and within short walking distance to all of Old Town Nice. Host Delia was super helpful and responsive. Little bit of street noise on weekends.
The wonderful hostess greeted at the door with some desperately needed prosecco and delicious socca- just the thing to start our trip off correctly. The view is great, the AC effective, the beds comfortable, and the washer/dryer priceless. The stairs are real- manageable, but not for the faint of heart or those who overpack. Great location, and surprisingly quiet given the action below on the Cours Saleya. Just steps to the beach. Highly recommended!
We came to visit Monaco and Cannes as Nice is in the middle. If you want a quiet place this is not. Cafes & Bars till 12:00. The Apartment, Markets and Shops fabulous. "No elevator" to 3rd floor.
The property is gorgeous inside! Very comfortable with all the amenities you need. Delia was a great host. The location is ideal to see old town and walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. It was our first time visiting the area and it was perfect place to stay to see the main highlights. We took the train to Monaco for a day and that was very easy to do. I would definitely recommend this property.
Recently renovated apartment with fantastic views. We loved its location in Old Town right at the market and near the water. Only downside side is that you need to carry your luggage up to the 3rd floor
I came with my husband and my sister and her husband. We had an incredible time. It was a comfortable arrangement. Two great bedrooms, two bathrooms with two toilets. Great water, pressure and hot water. Great air-conditioning. But the best part about it were the views and the markets out your front door. Plenty of restaurants to eat at! Maybe we bring earplugs as it gets a little rowdy at night. It is not for people that have any medical issues. There are 79 steps to get up to the apartment, but itâs totally worth it if you can make it!! Highly recommend it! Delia was a great host!
Fantastic, spacious and clean apartment in a perfect location!
We absolutely LOVED our stay at Azur Hideaway! The apartment has been newly renovated and provided all the perfect essentials needed to make our stay comfortable. The daily marketplace right outside our door as well as the numerous restaurants to choose from was so cool and super convenient! Location location location was the best. Center to everything! We had a rented car so we parked in the nearby parking structure which was super convenient and inexpensive when paid ahead. Would highly recommend this place and will be staying again on our next visit. Be prepared for lots of stairs to the 3rd floor, but for us we didnât mind the extra exercise with all the delicious food we had been eating:) Thank you Deliha! Absolutely loved your beautiful place!
Location is wonderful. Host was absolutely fantastic. On the weekend, it is a little noisy due to location on the strip. There is a great view of the sea and close proximity to food, market and entertainment. We highly recommend this rental. The host goes out of her way to accommodate. This was a superb experience.
I would recommend this property over and over. We loved being so close to the beach and in the heart of the Cours Saleya flower market which we strolled through every morning for fresh pain au chocolat, croissants and fruit. The apartment was spacious and was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Delia was so friendly and quick to answer any questions we had during our stay.
Wow! The views were incredible. Clean appartment.
Special attention to details.
Would recommend to anyone who wants to be in the centre of old Nice.
The only thing the AC was not very strong.
This property is right beside a wonderful fresh fruit, vegetable, & flower market which is open 6 days a week.
Also easily walkable to dozens of great restaurants, transit, museums, and the Promenade Anglais. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it is ideal for 2 couples, and it was nice to have laundry facilities. Highly recommend!
Absolutely wonderful stay. The location couldn't have been better - a majestic view of the sea and directly upstairs from the daily market, which was a surprise highlight of our trip. We started off each morning by grabbing coffee and snacks from the market, retreated to our room and enjoyed breakfast with the window open and overlooking the sea. It was also located conveniently to restaurants, cafes, beach clubs, and the cascade.
The flat, itself, was newly renovated, clean and very welcoming. The A/C worked well, when we needed it.
Check-in was a breeze and they were kind enough to hurry over when we arrived earlier than expected.
Start to finish our visit was very good! Bustling area during the daytime with restaurants and vendors, vendors, etc. The evening is also busy with restaurants and vacationers enjoying themselves. I enjoyed the location. The rental is very good for four people, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a working kitchen. To be sure, you have to walk up a few flights of stairs. I hope to visit again thank you.
The flat was v comfortable, good quality beds . Not a good place to stay if you are looking for quiet evenings - opposite a nightclub - or you canât climb stairs. That said, we had a fab time during the RWC and loved the market outside each day and the beach over the road ! Air con was v welcome , flat very well equipped.
We stayed in Nice just a few short days. It was my husband and my self, along with my sister and her husband. The location of this rental unit could not have been better. FANTASTIC location. Tons of amazing restaurants within walking distance. The unit itself seemed newly renovated. You do have to walk up quite a few stairs to reach the apartment, which could be tough for some visitors, but I appreciated the extra exercise after eating at all the delicious restaurants close by. Delia was nice to deal with and helpful when I had asked questions. I would definitely stay here again! I only wish we had more time.
Our family (two adults and two kids- 9yo & 3yo) really enjoyed our time. Proximity to amazing restaurants and daily farmers/craft market made our trip memorable. We frequented the beach and collected seashells, despite the cooler weather. Renting a car from a nearby car rental (Sixt) made a day trip to St Tropez and Cannes very doable. And it was walking distance (20mins) to the train stop and we got to spend a night in Monaco, while we left our stuff in this apt! The two bedroom apt is spacious and well equipped. The manager was responsive and understanding when our flight got delayed coming into Nice. The 3 flights of stairs gave us a workout but weâd def stay here again! Be aware that thereâs a late arrival fee (to be paid in cash), which was listed in the details of the listing but one that we missed until the day we arrived in Nice.
Perhaps I missed it in the description but note that walking up steep stairs to get to the apartment is required.
The manager seemed annoyed when I asked about checking in, saying it was on app. Again maybe I missed it butâŠ.
Be careful with the hot water in the master bath sink. It can scald you.
The view from apt and itâs location are great.
Lovely and comfortable flat, great location, friendly host
It was an excellent home base for us to explore Nice and the Cote d'Azur region. All 5 stars.
The flat is very comfortable and well-appointed, with great sea views. It's in the heart of "old town" -- most of which is dedicated to pedestrians -- and close to the shoreline promenade and beach. Good bathrooms, bedrooms, and comfy beds, and a nice living room. The kitchen is well equipped with quality appliances and everything you need for cooking and eating, and right downstairs is the Cours Saleya market with fresh produce almost everyday, plus all the restaurants and great food available in old town. The host (Delia) is great -- friendly, communicative, and responsive.
You should note that while the flat itself is very modern and clean, it's in an older building, and there are 60+ well-worn steps to your door -- not a problem for us but could be for some. Also, the location has great nightlife on the street below, with music and revelry into the early hours. The flat has thick walls and good windows, so the noise is not too bad, but you will still hear it most nights.
This was the most amazing place for our family of 3. It was beautifully decorated, clean and the view was like a dream! Delia was so helpful. I was afraid it would be loud given its location but it wasnât. Shower, beds and amenities were all great. The common stairwell was under construction which we had to dodge but they are working on just making the place that much better and is temporary. The only negative was an occasional odor in one of the bathrooms assume from the old drains. The location couldnât be beat but you do have to walk a ways to get transportation to/from the apartment because it is a pedestrian only area. The view took my breath away every day. Sad to leave! Highly recommend.
One of the nicest VRBO properties! Dehlia, the host, was responsive and accommodating. The location is perfect and the description did not lie. The set of stairs going up was not an issue unless you have someone with health issues. I would highly recommend and plan to stay here again should we return to Nice. Thank you to Dehlia for a wonderful vacation!
