Overall, a good stay. The condo is great. Although the room with the bunkbeds was small, the rest of the unit was very spacious and perfect for our family of 6. The location is nice, as everything was either walking distance or a short drive away. The pool is wonderful and we enjoyed the live music played in the evenings while we sat on the deck. A few negatives - Itâs a large condo so the beach area was packed out by 9am. The parking garage is tight and a pain to maneuver through. The elevator situation is a nightmare. There are not enough elevators for the amount of units. It could take us up to 20 minutes to get on due to the elevators being so packed.
The location directly on the beach was fantastic, and the ability to freely go between the beach and the pool was easy and a perfect as most other condos/resorts had their pools in front of their buildings. It made for a nice experience to go between the two seamlessly. The pool was great with plenty of seating to find a spot and relax.
The condo itself had plenty of cooking options, and with the Walmart being across the street, it was perfect for budget-friendly meals.
The proximity to all of the attractions was nice as you do not have to travel far at all to find things that will fill your day (for those times you need a break from the water).
The hosts were very proactive with communication, which set proper expectations, and when needed, they were equally responsive to questions/needs.
The only 2 draw backs (and this is not in the ownerâs control but still worth noting for future guests) is that the parking garage is very tight, so if you have anything larger than a car or small suv itâll be tight to get in and out, and the elevators are a bit of a mess in that it was not uncommon to wait 10 minutes for the elevator to make it to you only to find it already full. Again, that is not the ownerâs fault at all, but it needs to be stated.
Loved everything about this condo. Perfect place for a family with two small kids, plenty of room in the master for a pack n play for our infant and toddler had his own room with the bunkbeds. Plenty of beach towels, beach wagon, chairs, etc! Kitchen well stocked and had everything we needed for simple meals in the condo.
The condo was very nice, I know the elevators were a con for many but we only had issues at checking out and checking in. This was due to use needing to use the elevators back to back, the reserved parking spot was great and it is nice to be in such close walking proximity to so many things. Pineapple Willyâs is a must try and ask for JT! She is the best server. I would stay at this condo again. Just wish there were 2 garbage bags provided as this was one thing I forgot haha.
The manager I spoke with on text was extremely helpful. This place is really close to a lot of things to do. Also clean and he pool is amazing. Definitely give yourself extra time for the elevators. Depending on the time of day it may be a long wait. Other than that pretty nice overall!
The property was very clean. The beds and furniture were all very nice too. The only bad thing about the actual condo was the washing machine had some mold around the opening. The elevators are horribly busy and you will wait forever.
The condo was beautiful and seamless to check-in. Zero issues throughout our stay! If the condo was in a quieter part of PCB, we would certainly go back! The only negative thing I'd share is related to the building (not the condo itself): Long lines for elevators and very crowded beaches with people congregating from the public access at Pineapple Willy's next door.
Loved the condo, furniture, kitchen and view!
The rental was in good shape and as described in the listing. We had a little trouble with the dryer. I would caution anyone considering staying at the Shores of Panama during spring break as it is a large complex with a lot of people coming and going. Parking is a bit of a mess. Again overall the property was as advertised.
The resort and condo were absolutely amazing and had everything we needed. The pool was huge. The hot tub was huge and we were in walking distance to a lot of restaurants. We will be back.
The property was in great shape. We enjoyed our stay and the location is terrific. It was winter so, didnât utilize the pool at all but the convenience to the beach is perfect
The condo itself was awesome! We didn't like the shores of Panama. They only allow one parking spot and do not allow you to rent another. We had toddlers with us and had to park off property. We were there during the week of Thanksgiving, and I would say there was less than 50% of the condos and parking lot full. The indoor pool was so over chlorinated that we couldn't even use it. Also, you have to use your wristband to get in the parking garage so the attendants should definitely advise to put your wristband on your left arm! But overall the condo was beautfiul and very comfortable.
This is a great space for adults and older kiddos. We did have some cleaning issues that the property manager promptly took care of. The furniture is different in the space than it is in the pictures, and because of that there are a lot of exposed cords etc. We have a toddler that was with us, and had we known this ahead of time we probably would have chosen a different property. However, we still did enjoy our stay! The space is in a great location, the resort is super nice, and we did have a great time!
The condo complex property is too large. The wait and ride for the elevators is long. The parking takes an additional 6 minutes to get to the entrance/exit of the parking lot. There is a natural gas leak from the spa heater next to the smoking section at the pool. Some guards at the gate to the beach opens the gate for everyone and donât check for the green bracelet. The additional $85.00 for condo fee should be included in the rental fee. There is a large tourist boat that comes at least once a day stopping in the water blasting its horn and shooting off a cannon twice. Itâs loud, obnoxious, and tacky.
The condo was clean and well maintained. The bunk bead room isnât really a bedroom, though.
Very nice, updated condo. The facility was very nice and clean. Would definitely recommend this condo. Only complaint would be some of the staff is pretty rude but most were very nice.
