This was our first time visiting Gatlinburg and we had a great time! We will definitely be back! The house was great for the kids to swim in the pool and everyone to enjoy the hot tub.
Beautiful place with plenty of space and unwind time
We LOVED this cabin.. the only downside we had was construction right across the street all day while trying to relax... but I know they are just making room for more people to enjoy! We will definitely be returning! Close to everything in town!
The cabin was easy to find and in a great location. It was clean when we arrived. The ceiling fan in the bedroom on the 1st floor rattled when turned on.
There are 3 levels to this property, so plenty of room to spread out. We used the hot tub, sauna, and pool daily. The pool table and arcade game were also a hit. All of the furnishings and finishes are nice. The location was not far from a McDs and a Dollar General if you need that kind of thing, as well as a grocery store and gas station. Nice property in Laurel Estates!
Our only issues were with the pool and the DVD player in the media room. The pool was cold, and the DVD player stopped working. So we're still waiting for the DVD to be mailed back to us. They wanted to charge us for shipping. But I explained to them that we had to leave it behind because it stopped working the night before checkout.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Nice place, bad amenities and policies.
The place is nice enough. That being said, the trip was ruined by a few things. First, when we got there, the carbon monoxide detectors kept alarming. Maintenance had to come and replace all the batteries. Then they realized the pool alarm needed batteries (safe!). The call to maintenance was a hassle because the internet service is SO SLOW that it can barely field a call. We had no cell signal so calls had to be made over WiFi. Which brings me to my next point. WHY do you have smart TV's all throughout the house with the most dismal internet service I've experienced in the last 15 years? 0.24Mbps. That is awful speed for a fairly new lodge that is advertising this as an amenity. It was unusable. We had to stream from a family member's phone that actually had service in order to use any sort of device that required internet. Finally, and possibly the worst part is the "theater room". The family wanted to watch a movie the night before check-out. Around 11pm we decided to all gather in the theater room and attempt to find something to watch. There's a DVD player and DirecTV receiver. No one brought DVDs, so we tried the DTV. Well the DTV didn't work! There was picture, but no audio. We tried every configuration possible to get it to work and nothing worked. We determined the DTV receiver was the culprit as other sources(roku) produced audio. We left the cables unplugged from the receiver and had planned to tell the staff the day after check-out about the problem. Before we could inform staff, we had received a phone call telling us that they were going to charge us an additional fee because the cables were hanging. Outrageous! Cables that take literally 30 seconds to reattach. Cables that were going to have to be taken apart any way because the setup was faulty to begin with! Calls to a "manager" were fruitless as they claim that the hanging cables was a violation of the agreement. Well a working theater room was also part of the agreement to, correct? Did I get a refund for that? Awful business practice and people that do not understand how to interact with real world people trying to escape a pandemic for some relaxation with their family. I will never ever stay at this place again and I will be sure to tell my other family and friends to also stay away.
The cabin was conveniently located and without any overly curvy mountain roads, which is a big plus for us. It was clean and beautiful with tons of entertainment so we spent one night in just enjoying the amenities
My partner and I slept in the Master Suite and woke up with bed bug bites. Orkin was dispatched. Evidence was noted on dust ruffle and bed sheets. We slept in another room for the remainder of the time. Offered We were offered 150 and then 300, we declined. If you decide to stay be sure you check bedding.
We enjoyed the location of the cabin. It was a nice little area of modern houses with a cabin touch to it. Our week went smooth and we had no problems or complaints with anything. Location was great for Gatlinburg which is what we went for.
On 2nd day the key pad for front door quot workinh i called and they came fixed ot but we couldn't get back in house for several hours. Night before we left i went to do laundry the dryer didnt work i called to tell them and they never came we had a suitcase of wet clotes to bring home
Great location between pigeon forge And Gatlinburg. House pool, hot tub and game room were awesome.
Unfortunately the mini- split in the pool was malfunctioning and the pool room was very hot. Unable to be repaired during our stay. The washer and dryer were broken and the part wasnât available for the week . Laundromat was expensive and time consuming. They did provide additional towels.
Very nice house. Great amenities. Outdoor pool area was very nice.
The house was a perfect location for the BBall tournament. We were literally a mile away from Rocky Top Sports World. The house was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. We did have trouble with the dryer but it wasnât a big Neal. I would stay again.
We loved the property. My kids loved the indoor pool and the movie theatre room! The only negative thing is we didn't have check in codes for the door when we got there and it was difficult to get in contact with someone from the Property Management company after hours to get the code for our cabin.
The house was super clean and looked as advertised, however there were quite a few minor issues. Each room was equipped with a TV, Direct TV box and a DVD player, but most were not functioning. The DVD player in the theatre room and downstairs bedroom were not working. The downstairs TV also could not connect to the internet so no streaming there. The Direct TV box was not working in the master bedroom and one of the upstairs bedroom TVâs had no sound. We called maintenance and they did come same day but couldnât replace any equipment, only switch some things so we could watch movies only in the theatre room and TV only in the master bedroom. The air hockey table would only work by plugging and unplugging since the on/off switch and the score keeping was not working. The kitchen could use more cooking utensils and some of the shelves in the fridge were cracked. Not major things, but disappointing when you pay that amount of money to stay somewhere that the amenities arenât functioning properly. All in all we did enjoy our stay!!
Wonderful, clean, house! This house has everything our family needed. We had 5 kids 13,yo 13yo, 16yo, 17yo, and 19yo. Pool table, air hockey, arcade games, private indoor pool, clubhouse outdoor pool, private hot tub, private sauna were a huge hit. The beds were incredibly comfortable. 4 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms. A fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful porch to sit on. Fantastic location and easy to get to downtime Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The only complaint I have is a storm came through on day 1 and lightning hit the tower and no one had WiFi and made cell phones/internet and the movie room unusable for our entire stay! Our family was really looking forward to using the movie theater. That was huge bummer, especially in the evenings when everyone wanted to relax and chill. Mother nature had other plans for us I guess. The part to fix the WiFi wasn't coming in until the day we left. We also were unable to use their new feature of Alexa/concierge bc of the outage. Which would have been very helpful.
