Le village de Point Venture se trouve juste à l'extérieur de la ville de Lago Vista qui a des magasins, des restaurants et des divertissements. Vous pouvez partir en kayak ou en stand-up paddle depuis le parc Dink Pearson ou pêcher sur les rives de l'une des nombreuses zones de loisirs au bord de l'eau. Le Point Venture Golf Club est à quelques centaines de mètres pour une partie de golf relaxante.

Nice place.

We had a wonderful time. One thing we found was some broken wood on the steps and beside the Fireplace. The wood was there but either loose, broken or both. These little things kept it from being a 5.

Perfect location and very comfortable house

The house is right across the street from the country club which made it convenient for golfing. There was a live band that Saturday night and we enjoyed the ability to walk over and listen to music, eat & drink with our friends. The lake was low, but still a beautiful view!

Cute house, great location

This is a really cute house that’s near the lake and a community pool. Great for a peaceful getaway. Has a back deck with a bbq grill. However the a/c didn’t cool properly and we didn’t receive follow up communication re a resolution. It was disappointing that the golf cart in the garage is not included in the amenities because although the community pool and marina is nearby, it is not walking distance. This location is great. You get to see deer walking around.

Austin Hill Country Hideaway

Really enjoyed the home and decor. Located in a lakeside community with, boating, golf course, fitness center, park, and tons of deer! Views are tremendous. Would stay here again.

Great Lake house

The property was clean and it was able to accommodate the 9 of us easily. The stairs were pretty steep though, the owners/property management were responsive, it would have been better to have some of our questions answered beforehand. I would come back again

Lovely home, great location.

Cozy home with great porches, comfortable living room and great kitchen easy access to water, great dock with restaurant, boat rentals or a park with a sand bar. There was a pool, golf and frisbee golf too. We would definitely go back !

5 star place!

To start off the house is beautiful and is bigger than the ad makes it out to be. The location is amazing and the neighborhood is perfect. With the marina right down the road your boat rental is easy access. The restaurant at the marina was great and for small needs a convenient store is right down the road. The neighborhood park is huge with great lake access. Overall I would stay here 10 times over.

Beautiful rental just 2 minutes to the water!!

Absolutely beautiful, very clean, fully stocked with all the little things you’d need for vacation. Just a couple minutes to get to the lake where you’ll find it to be incredibly peaceful. I’d definitely take a pop up tent or umbrella for the lake. We will be coming back next year for sure.

Lovely home with open concept

The home was clean and had every amenity you would ever need. The huge windows in the living room were amazing, like bringing the outdoors in. When on the deck, you can hear the water from what was once a storm drain, trickling down into a little creek. It's quite relaxing. Deer all throughout the neighborhood and even in the yard were nice little surprises. The park in the neighborhood that we were able to access is enormous and beautiful. I don't think we even got to see the entire park in one day. Lits of bonuses with the home that we didn't even take advantage of, due to we were going just for relaxation. This was a wonderful home.

Amazing patio view

The upstairs patio is great. With wonderful views. The master bedroom bed is great. Wish there was a tub in the master. Other than that, plenty of room. Great stay. Great house. Can’t wait to come back.

The scenery was bad and the porch was not as pictured. The lake view was distant .

I need to do better research on my part in the future. This location is in a nice neighborhood, but everything is far away and traffic is always flowing. I would think that for the fees that are being charged a commercial grade tissue one not be the first choice. Kleenex in the bathroom would not be too much to ask as well. We had to cut our trip short so we didn't spend much time in the area. The best part was all the deer in the neighborhood, but I know we wouldn't select that home again, although it's nice it's just not secluded enough for our liking..

Spring Break 2021 Trip

The property is in pretty good shape. Cannot think of anything justifying a negative statement other than Check-In is too late in the day and Check-Out is too early in the morning. Unfortunatelyy, for us, it was too cold and too windy for us to have the best trip possible.

Great Location! Needs Deep Cleaning

The scenery was beautiful and serene however the cleaning crew needs to be fired. There was trash left from the previous renters. Food stains dripping g down the lower cabinets, lights burned out in the main areas, master bedroom and bath. Hair on the sheets. The carpet in the master bath was crunchy. The outside deck furniture was soiled with bird poop and there were cob webs all over the house. The house was just dark and dull. Definitely not worth the money I spent.

Nice House, but details need to be taken care off

The house is very nice. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. There is a restaurant in the lake near by ( you can walk) and you can see deers every where. The people cleaning the house is not doing a very good job, when we look at the dishes we realized that a few plates were put up but were not clean 100%. Then we went to clean the dishes and realized that there was not dishwasher soap. I texted the property manager and within 1 hour we got dish washer. Then I realized that the couch which is súper confortable had stains all over. The garbage and the bbq pit were not working either, I notified the manager about these issues as well, but never heard back. If all these issues are taken care of then it will be super nice.

Returned a 2nd time!

This property is just perfect for our needs...and then some. The first time we stayed, we celebrated our daughter's 16th birthday. We asked her where she wants to go for her 17th and she wanted to return to the Lookout in PV. So we did. As during the first stay, the property was clean and came complete with all the necessities...even shampoo which I forgot to bring. Whew! Location is perfect...off main road (Venture?), close to golf course, club house, tennis courts, pool, and park. Although the pool was closed due to COVID, we enjoyed the lake down at the park and had fun at the Gnarley Gar. If I had to mentioned anything negative, 10am check out is too early as we would like to stay a little longer to get in an activity before leaving.

Mental reset with the family

This was the perfect place to get away from the craziness of COVID. The house was so clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing lake getaway. We played dominos nightly on the beautiful porch after a day at the lake. We had our two boys and my parents and there was plenty of space for everyone. Being able to take our dogs was definitely a plus. We would definitely come back to this home.
