Good stay dated house

Our location was good but the VRBO description said community pool is available but it is not, there is a beach side pool though. Issues with the house include that all the kitchen appliances need to be replaced. The fridge especially as it is missing or has broken shelves and the ice maker is not working. The couches in the living room need to be replaced as the springs are sprung, you are sitting nearly on the floor. The tile floors in the bathrooms are old and dirty. The blinds do not open / close so you have to raise and lower them. The grill is a small round charcoal grill. The outside need to be power washed.

Nice location

The property had a wonderful location. Just cross the street and you are at the beach. The beach was wonderful. The swimming pool was also across the street and was great. However, the house was a bit rough around the edges. The stove top was unreliable. One cabinet in the kitchen had weak shelf supports. When we removed a bowl, the entire shelf collapsed and many bowls feel the the tile floor and shattered. The shelf on the door of the refridgerator was broken. When we placed a container of orange juice on it, the shelf broke and made quite a mess on the floor. The back door was hard to lock and unlock. But I feel just a small investment by the owners would make this site a five-star location.

Short Great Trip

The house was amazing, right across the street from the beach. We did have an issue with the code working initially, but that was solved rather quickly via text with the owner/manager. Overall GREAT trip and I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful, Peaceful Spring Break ‘24!

Coming from Ohio in March, we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful Florida sunshine. We loved this vacation spot. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. The location was quiet, peaceful and very aesthetically pleasing. We enjoyed the extra space to hang out since we only had 5 people. The private entrance to the beach and pool were great! Beautiful water and white sand. The only complaint we have is that the pool and hot tub listed on the site’s pictures were for homeowners only. This photo should be removed. Overall, we loved our stay at La Valencia.

Great Location

Things we liked about the house were all the bedrooms had their own bathrooms, great location. The private pool and deck at the beach were wonderful. Too cold to swim but a great deck overlooking the beach. Things we did not like were the thermostat is upstairs so we had a difficult time getting the downstairs warm since they had abnormally cold weather. The house is listed as two pools but the one in the community is for owners only. That should be made clear in the listing. The house really needs a good deep clean and a little sprucing up. Overall a great location, lots of room.

Great stay

House was located in a quiet convenient community. Quick easy access to the beach. Plenty of room for each family member with their own bath. Really enjoyed the large open area on the main floor to spend time together as a family. Landscaping was not extravagant but fine - not of importance to us. We had beautiful weather. Enjoyed our family time together in this space. Would visit again.

Just Facts

Location was great. Floors were swept, but so covered with grime our feet turned black within minutes. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean except for floors. Property description showing pictures of neighborhood pool was misleading because renters are not allowed access to neighborhood pool. However, beachside pool was good. Yard maintenance non-existent. Backyard all grown up and ugly. No towels and soap in 1/2 bath. Adequate to minimum towels and soap in other bathrooms. 1 small roll of paper towels and 1 small auto dishwasher soap supplied. Plenty of TP supplied.

Lovely Long Weekend

My family & sister’s family had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone to be together or have quiet time alone. If we weren’t at the beach or pool we were cooking big meals and playing board/card games. If you want to cook, be prepared to buy everything food-wise. All that was supplied was salt and pepper. There were plenty of pots/pans/bowls/utensils.

Wonderful vacation

This property was great. The only problem that I had was the televisions in the bedrooms. We couldn't get them to work because of either the cable service or something. The beds also need some heavier covers or tell the guests that they need to bring heavier bedding. My family and I really enjoyed it otherwise.

Needed some TLC

we had fun but there were a couple things like dirty floor in kitchen and living area and nothing to mop the floor with, and the couch caved in so far it was a battle to get up and out of it. but we managed to have a great time the house was just part of our trip and none of us were going to let that get us down.

Lots of positives!

Great house- nice layout with bathroom in each bedroom. Nice neighborhood with easy access to the beach! Rental price was great for the space. Landscaping needs attention and did see a few bugs.

Nightmare Vacation Rental & Panhandle Getaways!

On day one we found issues with electrical and toilets. Representative named Kelly was at the property and promised to send maintenance. They never came. That night the roaches were everywhere, including beds. Management finally a day later had someone spray. Toilets still running. They promised maintenance would arrive the following morning. Didn't happen. Washing machine sounded like grinding metal. On our 4th night we were all sitting at the dining room table. One guest had been on his laptop since the Wifi actually started working. Water started pouring from the ceiling from one of the showers upstairs. There is NO way to contact Panhandle Getaways after hours. No emergency maintenance number. In fact when you call the main number you cannot even leave a message as instructed. The call drops. Now we have two running toilets and a shower that cannot be used. Panhandle promised to send Mark in maintenance. He never arrived. There has been extensive water damage throughout the house. The house is nice and spacious but not worth the price for the condition or location. Prior quests signed the guestbook complaining of the landscaping. This goes years back. The owner refuses to address the issue . I would not ever recommend renting this property nor will I ever rent from Panhandle Getaways. Actual owners that live in the community stated that the owner has been confronted about the landscaping and complain of the eyesore. Panhandle Getaways doesn't care about their guests. Neither does this owner. RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK. Our vacation was a disaster, full of roaches and broken promises. One of our guests now has a water logged Laptop that was brand new. Now it wont even turn on.

Love LaValencia and loved this place

Only draw back on the property is lack of a grill. There is only a charcoal grill. Other than that it was perfect.

Wonderful stay

Plenty of space and the extras such as beach toys and chairs was a nice touch. Only downside was no wifi and the backyard needed some maintenance.
