Alfie is a classic country cottage with all the modern amenities, everything you need for a memorable stay in the heart of Berry.

Located in Berry village, Alfie is an ideal home whether you’re looking for a relaxed getaway, to explore the beautiful landscapes of the South Coast, or to sample the excellent local food and wine scene. The local shops and restaurants are all within easy walking distance, with the closest cafe a two-minute walk. There are several wineries within a short drive, along with coastal and mountain walks, as well as beaches including Seven Mile beach and Jervis Bay. The South Coast also has a growing arts scene, with the newly re-opened Bundanon Trust nearby.

The house itself has a long wrap around porch at the front and a rear undercover deck for entertaining and catching both the morning and afternoon sun. There is a saltwater swimming pool, with deck chairs and an outdoor shower to take advantage of during the summer months and an internal wood fire place and garden fire pit to cosy up to during winter. The house also has reverse cycle air conditioning, so living in comfort is available all year around. The solar power on the roof makes it nearly guilt free.

The large kitchen, dining and living spaces are all open and combined, making it an ideal home to enjoy and entertain, with all areas opening up to the rear undercover balcony. The space is airy and light with plenty of different areas to socialise and relax. There is a great reading bench along the full extent of the external windows for an afternoon read or nap.

There are two queen sized bedrooms, a double bedroom and a master bedroom with a king sized bed all with pillow top mattresses for a comfortable night’s sleep. There are two generous bathrooms, one in a classic country style with a claw foot bath and shower and the other in a more modern style with a large shower and European laundry with washer and dryer. There are natural luxury skincare and cleaning products to make use of during your stay.

The house sits on a large block with a big backyard, providing plenty of outdoor space to move around and enjoy. There’s a large lawn for games or a picnic, and some lovely shaded spots under the two ancient liquid amber trees.
