This would have been 5 stars except for the major construction happening during our stay. We were not told about the construction before checking in. Scaffolding was blocking the balcony but that was fine. It was the construction men on the actual balcony for 3 days and the noise all day. The curtains are see through and to have men standing right next to the windows and drilling was unsettling. We were given 1 day refund.

Dream Come True

It was always a dream of mine to rent a place in Paris to live like a local and this experience was that dream come true! The apartment was excellently maintained and clean and the location was magical. The large balcony was my favorite feature as I loved sitting out there every morning with coffee and a book and evening with champagne and charcuterie enjoying the views of the rooftops and the sounds of the people below. Everything one could need or want was located on these 3 enchanting blocks. The people of the management company, Paris Perfect, were very helpful and readily available to answer any questions. They have laid out clear instructions to the apartment operations as well as the rules. Please note that, while the other Paris Perfect tenants to the left of the apartment observe the quiet courtesy rules, the tenants to the right of the apartment, who are not associated, do not extend the courtesy so if someone is a light sleeper you may want to keep this note in mind. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place to stay and I would most definitely stay there again. Thank you, Paris Perfect!

Perfect. Simply perfect.

This apartment is beautiful, bright, and in the perfect location on Rue Cler. My husband and I were in Paris just months before and I knew I wanted to come back to Rue Cler with its open markets, cafes, restaurants and the boulangerie. My favourite memory of Paris is the fresh, warm, buttery croissants in the morning from the corner boulangerie just steps from the apartment doors. The Paris Perfect staff are wonderful. They greet you at the apartment, show you around, and are very responsive to any question you may have. The apartment, apart from being in the perfect location in the 7th, is well appointed with modern appliances, fixtures, washer/ dryer and Nespresso machine for quick perk before wonderfully fresh cappuccino or grande creme outside the apartment door. We visited in October, not cold but a bit damp. I was amazed by the heat from the towel warmer in the bathroom and wall unit in the living room - I'm inspired to get similar units for my home in Toronto! The balcony is a must. And wonderful to step outside for fresh air, feel the sun on your face and hear the bustle of the vendors and shoppers on the street below. I loved everything about the apartment. And they so kindly watched our bags after we checked out so we could enjoy our last day in Paris before heading out to the airport. This apartment is worth every penny. You cannot be disappointed. Thank you to the wonderful people of Paris Perfect for making our vacation truly perfect.

Small but comfortable with a unbeatable location

We hit the jackpot on our first trip to Paris by staying at the small but well-equipped Saumur on Rue Cler. The apartment is comfortable for two, is beautifully appointed and has everything a visitor needs for a 10-day stay. We breakfasted in our room everyday and prepared a lunch for our sightseeing. This was easy with the compact kitchen with ¾ sized refrigerator and freezer, microwave, every kitchen tool imaginable and room for food preparation. The Nespresso machine saw heavy use as well. The lovely dinette table with city views outside the windows and reliable Internet made breakfast, planning our daily itinerary and catching up with the world every day a pleasure. The balcony was another wonderful feature although the weather did not allow us to enjoy it for most of our stay. Dishwasher, washer/dryer, efficient shower/vanity, tight but usable shelf storage and closet were other essential amenities for a stay of a week or more. The extensive documentation on virtually everything in the apartment as well as the friendly greeter who provided orientation our first day were other touches that made our stay smooth and trouble-free. The starter supplies of orange juice, wine, Nespresso cups and milk as well as soaps, cleaners and paper goods were well appreciated. But as they say in real estate here in the States (and probably everywhere else), “Location, location, location”. It is here Saumur shines brightly. I suppose there are other great locations to stay in Paris but it is hard to believe there are any better. Rue Cler has everything a visitor needs from cafes (we ate at three: Café du Marche, Tribeca and La Terrasse around the corner on Rue Bosquet), fruit and flower stands, bakeries, pharmacies, small supermarkets (we are partial to Carrefour for its hours and selection on La Motte-Picquet) and a day and night time vibe that represents the best of Paris city life. A demitasse of espresso or a glass of wine and a curbside table on Rue Cler is hard to beat for people watching or unwinding at the end of an evening. For visiting the rest of the city, the Ecole Militaire Metro station is right around the corner with connections on Line 8 to virtually everywhere in the city including Versailles (at Invalides) and Chartres (at Montparnasse Bienvenue). And, at the end of the day, Carrefour is right at the Metro exit (open till 11:30 pm) for the next days supplies, dessert or wine. We will certainly book Saumur again. It was Paris Perfection!

Fantastic Rue Cler Apartment

This lovely apartment looks just like the pictures of it. It is located right in the center of Rue Cler and you only have to go down to the street and walk 100 feet in either direction to completely fill your refrigerator with the finest wines, cheeses, breads, chocolates, meats, dairy, fresh fruit and vegetables, etc. Jeusslin, right across the street serves fantastic (albeit a little pricey) pret a manger (ready to eat) dishes as does Davoli right across the street. Franprix and Leader Price small grocery stores supply all the things the stores on the streets don't, The boulangerie, Maison Julien, just down the street provides baguettes as good as the Grand Prix de la Baguette winners for 2019 and 2018--I know because I bought baguettes from all three and taste-tested them. You will think you are in food heaven on Rue Cler. The apartment has everything you need. The first two days we were there it was very hot in Paris and I could not find a fan in the apartment and so went out and bought one (the white one you will see there) only to find that there was an unconventionally shaped black one already there--I didn't recognize it as a fan. What makes this apartment go over the top is the balcony on which my wife and I spent all our time when at the apartment. Views of the dome of Les Invalides, all of Rue Cler, and the reflection of the Eiffel tower in the windows of the apartments across the street. Incredible! Now for what was not incredible: Paris Perfect partners with Victor's Taxi service and recommends them. We made arrangements with Victor to have a taxi pick us up at 6:55 a.m. just outside baggage claim at CDG. We got there right on time and looked and looked, and no Victor driver. We waited and looked at all the men holding signs with names on them (as our driver was to do for us)--no Victor driver. Finally, after 30 minutes of checking and re-checking for anyone holding a sign with our name, we just got another taxi on our own. The ride cost 55 Euros--Victor's was 75. About 1+ hour later, the Victor driver texted me saying that he was there waiting for me. He said he had been there since 7:05...no way as my wife and I checked over and over. Nice story to cover the fact that he was late. I discovered that I could not trust Victor to show up when agreed and cancelled my return taxi service with him back to CDG at the end of our trip. Do what you will but be forewarned about Victor. Take your own taxi!!

The windows and balcony were wonderful and made it feel very spacious. We also appreciated the big fridge, microwave/oven, dishwasher, and especially the washer/dryer combo. We looked forward to drinking Nespresso once or twice daily! Our only complaint is that the neighbors were quite loud - but it did make us feel like we were really living in Paris. We appreciated all of our interactions with the Paris Perfect team, who were all really friendly and kind. We also recommend Victor Cabs highly, who we booked through Paris Perfect. Victor himself picked us up and drove us to the airport. We unexpectedly ran into a problem when we were leaving (unrelated to Paris Perfect) and he went out of his way to patiently help us.

Saumur

My daughter and I stayed in Saumur for a week and it was absolutely perfect. The building was very quiet and the apartment was exactly as described and pictured. It was very roomy(for 2), comfortable and beautifully furnished.The murphy bed was easy to operate,very firm but comfortable.The kitchen had everything we needed, perfect set-up.The balcony would be wonderful in warmer weather.I liked being on the top floor and not hearing people walk above me.We loved the location right on Rue Cler. We always stay in the 7th and love shopping there and enjoy all the charming cafes in the neighborhood. The neighborhood definitely has the best bakeries in all of Paris. Our greeter Kevin was very friendly and professional and explained everything clearly.We can't wait to return to Saumur.

Saumur

The apartment was perfect and provided everything we could have needed for our stay. It was cozy and comfortable. I was designed beautifully and really makes use of the space. Paris Perfect really does think of everything! Next time I am in Paris I will be sure to stay in one of their apartments.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The decision to choose this apartment was simple: location, location, location. We chose the 7th arrondissement on the Left Bank of Paris after a long search, because it was the absolute best location we could find – combining a lively village-like atmosphere with an unbeatable location in the heart of Paris. Financially it was a stretch but it has been worth every penny. We wanted to live in a beautiful quartier located near the romantic Seine river, surrounded by bistros and shops and walking distance to classic Parisian sights including the Eiffel Tower. We also wanted a safe neighborhood, centrally located with easy access to landmarks, museum and fabulous open-air markets and specialty food stores. The 7th offered it all!

We loved the fact that the 7th has maintained its unspoiled village-like feel where we greet our butcher, baker and local cheese specialist daily. They know our favorite cheese and just how thick and browned we want our baguette. That is what we wanted to find – an authentic and intimate Parisian neighborhood. .

We tried a variety of neighborhoods and the 7th offered the best access on foot to everything we savor and enjoy about Paris: landmarks, museums and monuments on the Left Bank, to world class shopping on the Right Bank, to the antique dealers on the Rive Gauche, to the Musée d’Orsay, the Louvre, Rodin Museum, Eiffel Tower and even the Arc de Triomphe. We can walk to discount stores in the quartier next door, enjoy morning jogs and bike rides in the lovely Champs de Mars gardens across the street, take a sunset walk along the Seine to Place de la Concorde and home along the riverbank.
