Great location is about the only good thing I can say. Unfortunately the host was less than accommodating for my families delayed flight. I don’t want to get into negativity too much because I’m actually on my way out of Paris. The host basically made this trip a nightmare. She demanded money this morning because we “ checked out early “ at 9 am? We have traveled all over and stayed in many VRBO locations and have never dealt with someone like this. The apartment was in a great location. The listing was night quite accurate as there are treacherous stairs that she only mentioned 3 days before you arrive.

This was our first trip to France (me, my wife, and our two adult kids). Booking online in a new country was stressful, and I know I missed numerous details. In hindsight, this apartment was probably the best choice of all the MANY units we researched.Location: As good as it gets, 15–20 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, and one minute in any direction to plenty of food. Grocery stores five minutes away.Basement bedroom: Comfortable/small but down a narrow, switchback staircase. Not ideal for bigger people or anyone with mobility issues. The bed is against two walls, so one person may have to climb over the other to get out. No door at the top or bottom of the stairs. From certain spot could see the lower half of the bed. Hung towel on railing, which blocked most of the light and view.Loft bed: Up a ladder above the bathroom and toilet (two separate rooms). Our 20-something daughter was fine with it, but it isn’t completely private.Living room sleeper: Our son used the fold-out chair/sofa. When unfolded, it mostly blocks the door to the patio. That said, the patio itself is an amazing feature, and none of the other units we looked at had one.The lightweight folding wooden chairs (inside and on the patio) worked fine, though at 220 lbs I sat carefully.All of that may sound like drawbacks, but the place worked really well for us. The price and location were excellent! Unit was well maintained. We’d stay again without hesitation.Owner was a gem.Tucson Arizona

Wonderful stay in prime location

I stayed here with my daughter and had an absolutely wonderful time. The host was absolutely amazing and there for anything we needed. Very thankful for her and all her accommodations. Only a stones throw away from the Eiffel Tower and nestled around so many great cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops. We will definitely save this listing for future trips. Family getaway

The apartment was just as listed, a perfect spot for our family of four. The location was very convenient to attractions, but on a quiet side street just around the corner from Rue Cler which we loved for morning pastries. The outdoor patio was a nice spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. We also enjoyed excellent communication with the host. Would definitely book again!

We loved this unique apartment in the best location. Rue Cler nearby was just so nice and only 1 min walk with no cars allowed and many shops and restaurants. The Eiffel Tower and park are very close as well! Our host was so attentive and made our stay hassle free! We would defined stay here again!

We loved our stay!

Beautiful location & a perfect, clean cozy apartment to spend a week in Paris! The street adjacent to the one the apartment is located on is one of the cutest we came across the entire time we were there! The owner was wonderful and helpful. The small outdoor space was perfect to enjoy a glass of wine before we keft for the evening. We highly recommend staying ( it looked bigger to us then the photos displayed) Our teenage daughters, husband and myself give it 5 stars!

Accomodating host/perfect location

Our host went out of her way to arrange for us to leave our luggage 5 hours early with no charge! Communication was always prompt and helpful. The flat was adorable and we loved our little courtyard. The neighborhood was just that, a true neighborhood, that wasn't totally packed with tourists and felt safe. Restaurants were great. Chef's kiss for this one!

Great location and host!

Vénie was a great host and was very responsive throughout our stay. The location was fantastic with many restaurants just down the street for lunch and dinner. The proximity to the Boulanger was great to get pastries for breakfast and a baguette to snack on for the day. It rained most of the time we were there so we didn’t get to use the patio. The proximity to the metro made getting around very easy too. Thank you Vénie for a great stay and we’d love to come and stay again when we come back.

Best location and best hostess

From our first inquiry to checking out, Venie was extremely responsive, kind, and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had the best time. I traveled with my sister (both in our 30s) and mom for mom’s 70th. The space was so well stocked but even better was the location. Around the corner from the metro and around the corner from Rue Cler, the CUTEST street with so many cafes and shops. Venie acted as a concierge and helped us with transportation, recommendations and even was so thoughtful to leave mom a nice gift for her Birthday. We truly didn’t spend much time at the flat since we were out and about. I did like that the toilet and shower room were separate as well. Helped with getting ready. The stairs going down to the bedroom and ladder going up to the loft were described accurately (narrow and not for claustrophobic people!) Would HIGHLY recommend!

Perfect! Our new place to stay in Paris

My husband and I have been to Paris many times. The 7th is our favorite area so we’re were delighted to find this little flat. Vénie has done an excellent job of describing the apartment, the pictures and description are apt. A few steps to the cafes and shops of rue Cler, moments walk to the Eiffel Tower and with easy access to the metro and easy pick up spots for taxi’s or Ubers you won’t find a better location. Vénie is a gracious and accommodating host. She was incredibly helpful before, during and after. Even before our arrival she was communicative, incredibly organized and truly caring. Don’t let the size deter you from staying!

Sweet little flat

The location is stellar; 10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower, Bus stops and the Seine River boats.And, it is literally steps from Rue Cler. Several shops, groceries and restaurants. Accessibility of Uber drop off and pickup was exceptional. The flat was very clean. Loved having coffee and tea. The small kitchen is fully equipped. Vénie responded instantly and helped assist with sightseeing inquiries. The instructions and layout of the flat were precise. Best suited for couples with/without teens since the loft sleeping may be challenging for toddlers and elderly. An ideal stay for exploring Paris!!restaurants.

I had an excellent stay at this flat! The host was incredibly helpful, providing clear instructions for check-in and offering great recommendations for apps and how to get to airport. The flat itself was impeccably clean and felt very safe, which made my trip even more enjoyable. Just perfect!

A delightful stay! The neighborhood is full of color, food, shops, cafés. We ate at the flat several times having picked up treats during the day. The quaint and cozy patio made for a restful spot to take our meals. Inside, this fairly typical French flat is very comfortable. Everything you need to eat onsite. Spotless! And our host, Vénie, checked in on us several times, making sure we had what we needed which we did. Totally recommend for about 1-4 people.

Amazing Experience!

Our stay and accommodations in Paris were outstanding. The apartment was exactly what we were looking for—clean, up-to-date, comfortable for a family of four while being close to everything. We were thrilled to be down the street from fantastic restaurants and the bonus of a pedestrian-only area was perfect for wandering safely with kids in a busy city. Our host was equally phenomenal, she was so accommodating and helpful—every step was remarkably easy with amazing communication. If you choose these accommodations, you will not be disappointed. Vénie, your host, is a strong communicator and wants you to have the best possible experience in this beautiful city. Vénie and this apartment are the definition of “je ne sais quoi.” This is a true Parisian experience. The apartment is comfortable, welcoming, and functional. The layout is lovely and uniquely French. Have an eye for art and design? You’ll like discovering the bold and the delicate features around the apartment such as the modern-vintage furniture and the subtle artwork. The kitchen is complete. Just steps away, on the Rue Cler, are fresh markets of fruits, vegetables, meats, fromage, and baked goods that you can bring home and prepare to your liking. However, cooking is definitely optional. The Rue Cler also provides exquisite cuisine with traditional and modern French repasts that satisfy the most sophisticated palate. From this location, it is easy to get around Paris on foot or otherwise. The Eiffel Tower and the River Seine are just minutes away. If you are a “long walker,” the apartment features an ergonomic soaking tub to remedy your sight-seeing day in this wonderful city. Overall, the apartment, the location and Vénie will give you an extraordinary Parisian experience.

I am the editor-in-chief of a fashion trends magazine and have been receiving people at my place since 2015. I love it each day (and night :) and I do my best for my travelers. Some have become precious friends.
According to my travelers’ tastes, I might offer them a true taste of French life or leave them be happy and independent in our flat.
What has started as a hobby now yields a needed income. It’s not a full-time job, though. I’m not a hotel professional nor a hospitality robot. I expect Vrbo travelers to behave like guests.
The flat is incredibly well located and equipped. However I prefer hosting travelers who choose our property for its original decor and feel lucky to live amongst our remarkable pieces of Vintage Modern furniture.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The building has been erected by my two-times-great-grandfather in 1895. He was a very modern aristocrat, an Eiffel tower fan and fought against the Philistines who wanted to destroy "her" (she is a feminine figure in our eyes). We know the history of this piece of land since before the revolution. It came in the family with a dowry. Its riches were the spring, where now there is the fountain. The flat history embraces four centuries, it's fascinating.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The patio is an unique feature. Not even 7 properties in our very chic neighbourhood can claim such a feature, and none for rental. The walls are very thick and conserve the heat or the freshness well, allowing to use the patio from February until October. The natural air ventilation is very effective during the Summer. This is a little flat for history buffs and distinguished people. Please don't book it if you're just looking for a place to crash. It has its quirks, its narrow stairs, its steep ladder. It's not for everybody.
