Stayed here for the Disney Soccer Showcase. Prime location, close to Wide World of Sports (15 min max) and tons of restaurants and shops. The house was nice for our two families to spread out and have our own space. The pool area was fun but I was a bit disappointed that the pool heat really isnât warming. I know they say itâs 70, but thatâs cold in January. The spa worked great once it warmed up a bit. Check in and check out was a breeze. There were some tiny ants but that happens everywhere in Florida. Overall, good trip!
This villa is beautiful and has everything you could need for your vacation. It was very spacious and plenty big enough for our family of 6.
My children loved the themed rooms Minions and Frozen.
The pool area was very private and the spa was great for after a long stay at the park. Many shops and restaurants can be found within a 5 minute drive and so close to all the disney attractions. We had a minor issue during our stay and we called the property manager who came out straight away and resolved the issue within a couple of hours. I have already booked one of Johns other villas for christmas 2018 as this one was booked. Thank you to John and the property manager.
Overall was good, best swimming pool with heating if paid!
So we paid for heated pool, and the pool was FANTASTIC!!! However, there is alot of ware and tear on frozen bedroom furniture! The black leather pealing bad! Daughter woke up with it all over legs. Same went for the furniture in theater room! Kitchen pots, pans, and etc. Definitely need an update very bad!!! A big helper for future would be labeling the switches in the house, so manyyyyy very confusing and remotes won't work if correct switch is not on!!! But pool made it!! I suggest get the heating!!! Ohh needs new tarp very bad too.
Upon arrival we were very excited as the home was beautiful and the perfect distance from Disney. Unfortunately, we were met with a few unexpected surprises. The house is controlled by a key card like a hotel(including the ac and fridge!). This was HORRIBLE! We arrived at the home after a long trip and day at Disney to a 90 degree home in Florida Summer. They have a paper stating it cools quickly which was NOT the case at all. We checked in at 4:00 pm and by 11:00 pm the temp was only down to 80!!! It was miserable to say the least. -the fridge was even hot and we didnt think to grab a bag of ice. In addition to this, the beds were hard as a rock (i can normally sleep anywhere and be ok) and made awful noises if you even rolled over. Definitely not good after a long day at a theme park. The game room (which our four kids were so excited for )was also a let down as it was in a garage (no air at all) It was too hot for anyone to use it and their were mice in there, The xbox also didn't work!! The pictures of this room were very deceiving. :( I feel terrible writing this but it was a huge let down for us as the reason we rented a home as opposed to hotel was for comfort. It actually made it stressful. If they fixed these issues it would be the perfect vacation home but these were pretty big issues for us. The house is beautifully decorated but the decorations can not cover up the other issues.
We had a great relaxing visit here and the house is located close to Disney, many other attractions, stores, restaurants etc. The property manager and owner were great to deal with. They communicated well and addressed any issues that we encountered. We paid to heat the spa/pool and it was well worth the additional fee due to the time of year we visited (first week of April)
My only complaint is the key card operating the power to the entire house. You are instructed to remove key card and place back in lock box every time you leave, with a fridge full of food for the week it was a little frustrating to have to leave someone behind everytime you wanted to go somewhere for long periods. I hear this is a pretty standard procedure with rentals, but there has to be a better way to still run the fridge. Also, The game room no longer has a gaming system area/television which was a hype for our children so our kids had to hook their switch to the television in the living area space which was fine but I wouldnât have brought it nor hyped up them having their own space to play video games and hang if I had known that about the game room.
Having a private home and pool beats being cooped up in a hotel room or at a community pool with a lot of people. We will be back in the future and appreciate you opening your home to others.
We all enjoyed our stay only had a few issues but they were fixed right away. One thing was that to have the hot tub heated you have to pay a fee per day which I checked the listing multiple times and did not see or know until we got to the property and had to call but got it fixed the next day with a fee.
My family of 7 came to Florida from NC in April 2019. We rented this located during Spring Break. I wanted something close to Universal and not too far from Busch Gardens Tampa. We were about 10-15 minutes from Disney, Universal and Sea World. It took us about an hour to get to Busch Gardens. We had a week of parks planned. Shopping is close as well. All restaurants and grocery stores are within minutes. Check in to the home was very easy. There is a coded lock box at the front door that has the key inside. The house electricity is controlled by placing the key in a slot once you get inside. The house was warm when we entered but quickly cooled. The home was very clean. It had beautiful decor, plenty of dishes, lots of towels and extra linen. The garage has books, a pool table and foosball. My kids enjoyed playing the games provided. The bunkbed room had a pullout bed under the bottom bunk that my kids discovered. Each room has a tv which helped diffuse alot of possible arguments. The yard has a pool with a hot tub or "cold tub" which my kids called it. The water was super cold. I was unaware of the extra charge to heat the pool because it was not included in the price or available as an option when I booked. When I called the fee was ridiculous so we decided not to. I booked this place because of the hot tub so I was very disappointed that I was able to get in. My kids were fine with the cold water. On our rest day, the pool guy came to clean to pool, which I thought was kind of inconvenient, especially since my kids were in the pool at the time. Then the mowers came and had grass everywhere to include the pool and deck area. They were wearing mask to protect from debris but had no problem throwing it around at us. I was a bit annoyed by that. There was a small grill so we utilized it a couple of times for some quick meals. You can see the fireworks at Disney from the backyard so that was a nice nightly treat. Overall we enjoyed the home.
We had 9 people and it was the perfect size! The kids loved the game room but xbox didn't work. We didn't hear the pool. It the kids didn't care even when it was a little cold!! The only thing that needs some work is the couch but it still worked.
