Bienvenue au Victorian Rose at Blossom View Cottages. Nous sommes situés dans le quartier ferroviaire historique, à moins de 800 mètres de l'OSF, des théâtres, de la Plaza et du centre-ville.

VICTORIAN ROSE (2 BDRM-2 BATH-Sleeps 6)
Laissez ce magnifique chalet dans une maison historique vous combler d'un sentiment de confort et de luxe. Cette maison de 875 pieds carrés dispose de deux chambres, chacune avec un lit queen. Un canapé-lit queen dans le salon peut accueillir deux autres personnes (ou utiliser le matelas pneumatique queen à la place). Une des chambres a une salle de bain attenante avec une douche à l'italienne. La deuxième salle de bain a été récemment rénovée et dispose d'une baignoire-douche combinée et la vaste cuisine est entièrement équipée pour cuisiner des repas élaborés ou simples. Profitez de votre café / verre de vin dans la salle à manger séparée, sur le porche donnant sur le jardin, ou tout simplement sortir dans les nombreux restaurants et cafés du quartier. Un porche arrière privé offre un espace de lecture ou de repas calme supplémentaire tout en regardant dans le jardin environnant.

Il y a quelques marches (2/3) pour entrer dans la maison, mais une fois à l'intérieur tous les espaces de vie sont au même niveau. Garez-vous sur la propriété et marchez vers les intérêts locaux et les fabuleux restaurants à quelques pas. Nous fournissons des draps et des serviettes fins à l'usage de nos clients. Des livres, couvrant une variété de genres, une connexion Internet / Wi-Fi gratuite et la télévision par câble sont également fournis. Ashland Food Co-Op est à moins de cinq minutes si vous devez faire l'épicerie ou des fournitures supplémentaires. Un célèbre café local et des restaurants emblématiques sont à quelques pas.

La rose victorienne a été construite en 1901, dans le style victorien populaire. Il est inscrit au registre national des maisons historiques.

Stay at a Hallmark movie set

Beautiful home with everything you need to relax. Well stocked, clear instructions for check in and out, all in walking distance to in-town attractions. The doe kept guard on the back door while we were away. Would stay again and recommend others.

Our best stay in Ashland

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and very well situated in town. The kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to cook most of our meals there. It's in a quiet neighborhood where you can walk to anything you might want.

Lovely accommodations

We were very comfortable in this charming home. There are so many unexpected extras throughout the house that made the visit even more special, like the table games, extra linens, and the kitchen stocked full of everything you could possibly need. We all remarked at how clean the home was and how the furniture was very comfortable.It was just a few blocks walk into town and to the Shakespeare Theaters. We found excellent restaurants and shops along our walks. We walked through Lithia Park and even enjoyed a street market while we were there.We would definitely stay at this house again and plan to make this an annual trip.

Perfect for OSF

Three of us (couple and a single) enjoyed our five night stay. Location is great. Only 15 min walk to downtown and theaters. Enjoyed some great food at walkable restaurants. Cottage, although older, is nicely appointed and equipped. Would stay again if the space was needed.

Perfect Stay!!

Great location! 1/4 block from Peerless Restaurant (our favorite!) and an easy 1/2 mile walk to the theatre. Cottage is charming with all the amenities including the lovely front porch for morning coffee and reading.

Very conveniently located house for everything in Ashland! Challenging to find after dark but once found, getting in was well explained and easy. Generally clean but has a well-lived in feel. Good place to stay if you're going to be mostly out and about in Ashland.

Sweet cottage in a great area

This is a clean, comfortable, sweet cottage. In the heart of the Railroad district with all it has to offer. Also an easy walk to downtown and Lithia Park. I stayed in February so did not take advantage of the front porch, but it would be fun to hang out there in the summer and say hello to the people passing by.

I love Ashland and the house was walking distance from all my favorite haunts. Nice outdoor seating for coffee and breakfast in the morning, comfortable seating inside. What’s not to like.

Great location, affordable, clean

No complaints about this listing. It's a quick walk to the theaters and shops. Nice neighborhood. Very clean and well stocked. We would stay here again. I suggest the owner hire a gardener to maintain the front and back yards. The trees and bushes are overgrown and in need of water and the lawns are mostly weeds. Most neighbors here have beautiful yards so they would probably appreciate this as well.

The property was in a nice area with off street parking and located within a short distance to shopping and restaurants and events. Manager was prompt with an answer to a question I had. Cute landscaping with outdoor seating to enjoy our stay. Generally clean. It could use an easy chair in living area.

Wonderful House Great Location!

My husband and I stayed here with another couple on our annual OSF weekend. What a great time we had in this beautiful house! Location is perfect. We ate almost next door at Peerless one night, shopped at the Co-op just 2 blocks away for a dinner in with some local friends the next, and enjoyed coffee on the lovely front porch both mornings. There's a bike rental place right across the street. And the theatres and downtown are minutes away on foot. The house itself was very clean and very comfortable. The hosts were very pleasant and easy to reach. They were very helpful when we wanted to catch a matinee before heading out of town and needed a place to stow our bags as we didn't have a car. Highly recommend!!

Worn furnishings, convenient location

Furnishings OK on first glance, but when you look closer, you noticed the stained couch, worn bedspread edges, and mildew in the showers. Kitchen equipment is cheap so plan on eating out most the time. Decor looks as though probably came from Goodwill. Odd design layout with second bathroom off the kitchen. The second bedroom has you go through the dining room and living room and kitchen to access this bathroom. The mattress in the second bedroom is poor, because it lists both vertically and horizontally, making you roll around, trying to find a stable place to sleep. The primary bedroom mattress was good. Really tiny television. Good Internet service. Excellent air conditioning during record high 99° day. The location is excellent as regards the Ashland co-op store, restaurants, reasonable proximity to OSF Plaza. These comments take into account the amount paid (over $1700 for 4 weeknights M-Thurs, last week in September).

Quiet and convenient

Pleasant little cottage with all necessary amenities. Walk to theatres somewhat longer than imagined, but thoroughly safe and through nice neighborhood. Front deck comfortable. Back patio rather basic - more comfortable chairs with cushions would be better. Also some more pruning of the plants around the patio would make the area larger. Generally a very enjoyable stay.

We used to visit Ashland for Shakespeare Festival and fell in love with this charming, quaint town. Eventually, we decided to call Ashland our home. Like many residents of this lovely town, we continue to be enchanted by Ashland.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The original house on the property, Victorian Rose, is on the Register of Historic Places. The house was built in 1901 and was lovingly renovated in 2015. The second house on the property , Blue Hyacinth, was a latter addition but shares the characteristics of the older homes prevalent around Ashland. We love the location in the very popular Railroad District - its proximity to OSF, the stores in downtown and the restaurants and galleries on A Street.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Luxury, Comfort, Location - WOW!
The cottages are located in a residential neighborhood yet are within three blocks to downtown. The Food Co-Op is two short blocks away and A-Street is half a block away. Park your car on the property and walk to the theater and other local interests. Each cottage has a porch, so you can enjoy wine/coffee in private or walk a few steps to the cafes and restaurants and mingle with the locals.
A famous local coffee shop and a landmark, popular restaurant are literally in our backyard!
