BLUE HYACINTH

Bienvenue au Blue Hyacinth, une charmante maison de 3 BDRM-2 BATH, à Blossom View Cottages. Nous sommes situés dans le quartier historique des chemins de fer, à trois pâtés de maisons (moins d'un demi-mile) du centre-ville et des théâtres (OSF), de sorte que vous pouvez marcher partout depuis cette belle maison.

POLITIQUE D'ANNULATION: Pour notre maison de trois chambres, le montant total est remboursé en cas d'annulation soixante (60) jours avant la "date d'arrivée". Si nous pouvons réserver à nouveau vos dates, tout sauf le dépôt de garantie est remboursé.

DESCRIPTION: Ceci est une maison luxueuse et confortable. Deux chambres et une salle de bain sont situées à l'étage, tous les autres espaces de vie (une chambre, salon, salle de bain, cuisine, salle familiale) sont situés en bas. Dégustez du vin / café sur l'un des porches avant (il y en a deux) tout en admirant les jardins ou dîner / vous détendre sous les étoiles sur le patio arrière. La cuisine bien approvisionnée se prête à des repas simples ou somptueux ou vous pouvez vous promener dans les meilleurs restaurants d'Ashland sur A-Street, 4th Street et Downtown. La Ashland Food Co-op est à moins de deux pâtés de maisons. La maison elle-même est entourée de jardins colorés.

Chaque chambre est meublée avec un lit queen et l'une des chambres à l'étage a également un lit jumeau. La tanière a un canapé-lit queen très confortable. Des livres d'une variété de genres, Internet et la télévision par câble sont fournis. Notre maison est meublée avec des draps et des serviettes de qualité pour l'usage des invités.

Just a few hiccups, but still great time

Address and location of house was not correct, but we found it behind the house with our address. The VRBO address does not match the actual house location. Two coffee pots that did not work. After some convincing we were brought a new one. Five women stayed so a few more towels would have been helpful. And, no access to washer and dryer if your visit is short ( that should be noted in the description). Overall , we really enjoyed our stay and the location was great!

Great place, great location!

My friends and I booked both the blue and pink houses and it was the perfect setup, walkable to the town and the theatres but a nice quiet area around the houses. Totally recommend and will try and come back again!

A very good experience

Great location just one block from our favorite coffee shop and bakery, and just a few blocks more to the co-op grocery. Getting to the theaters and main businesses was also convenient. Never saw a “washer” except for the dishwasher, but willing to believe it (and a dryer?) were there. We just didn’t need them for a three night stay. Would definitely consider this property again with family and/or friends.

Comfortable home.

Nice residential area that is an easy walk to OSF. It was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 5 adults. The stairs are a bit steep for people with mobility problems but there is one bedroom downstairs. One suggestion: update the furnishings throughout. They are a bit tired.

On our annual OSF trip, enjoyed several plays, lots of walking around town and the park, shopping and dining. We love Ashland and this house was a perfect fit for the 6 of us.

The house was centrally located. We only used the car once to go to Emigrant lake. We were able to walk to the theater, restaurants, the co-op and downtown. It was so convenient.

Very clean & comfortable! Location is great. One suggestion is adding a chair in each bedroom. Easier to sit down in a chair than on the bed to put on slacks, shoes, etc. Loved the kitchen.

Nice big Ashland house

The house was in a great location, once we arrived we didn't have to access our car for anything (even groceries) until we were ready to drive home! All the rooms were big, the kitchen had everything you might need.

Perfect location

Great spot for a much-anticipated girls get away weekend! We walked wherever we needed to go and never had to drive anywhere. Cottage was very clean, had comfortable beds, and the kitchen was well equipped. We plan to return next year!

Great central location to gather for a theatre stay

The house was in a very cute neighborhood walking distance to downtown. The house itself was perfect for a large group to gather, chill out, and cook. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and the rest of the house was in good working order. There are several cafes just around the corner and the main downtown center is also minutes away. Perfect homebase for a theater vacation.

This is the second year we have stayed here for our family reunion. It is conveniently located close to the theater and Ashland co-op. It is very clean and well equipped with all the essential kitchen applience plus and outdoor grill and outdoor seating.

Perfect Home for a Friends Gathering

Having rented many VRBO homes, I must say this property was one of the most perfectly delightful I have stayed at. With 7 friends gathering, this home had everything to make our stay so comfortable. The back patio for outside eating and the front garden area for outdoor relaxing, provided wonderful environments. The large kitchen area was perfect for group cooking. The house was wonderfully supplied with all the furnishings you could ask for. And of course, it's perfect location in a quiet part of historic district within walking distance to downtown and Shakespeare festival could not have been better. I could go on and on providing compliments to this location.

Would like to stay here again, if a similar number/assortment of people.

Welcoming, comfortable, roomy --for 5-- well-furnished, uncluttered, major appliances in good working condition, small comfortable enclosed outdoor area, in a walkable pretty neighborhood, easy walk to downtown. Did not communicate with property manager, except to say we were leaving. Would have liked to be welcomed to ask questions ahead of visit.

The Blue Hyacinth Cottage was very clean and well stocked, there was lots of room and we used the large kitchen for cooking. We liked the location and walked to the OSF Theater, shops and restaurants.

I was extremely bothered that there were roach traps in the kitchen. Also, half of the light bulbs were out, those on the porch were ALL out. When we arrived the cleaning lady we weren’t due until the following day.

Great home!

This was the ideal home for four friends coming together to enjoy Ashland. It’s walking distance to the main part of downtown, cute, quiet and has a well appointed kitchen. We were delighted with it. And thank goodness for the AC since it was 110 degrees in Ashland!

We used to visit Ashland for Shakespeare Festival and fell in love with this charming, quaint town. Eventually, we decided to call Ashland our home. Like many residents of this lovely town, we continue to be enchanted by Ashland.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The original house on the property, Victorian Rose, is on the Register of Historic Places. The house was built in 1901 and was lovingly renovated in 2015. The second house on the property , Blue Hyacinth, was a latter addition but shares the characteristics of the older homes prevalent around Ashland. We love the location in the very popular Railroad District - its proximity to OSF, the stores in downtown and the restaurants and galleries on A Street.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Luxury, Comfort, Location - WOW!
The cottages are located in a residential neighborhood yet are within three blocks to downtown. The Food Co-Op is two short blocks away and A-Street is half a block away. Park your car on the property and walk to the theater and other local interests. Each cottage has a porch, so you can enjoy wine/coffee in private or walk a few steps to the cafes and restaurants and mingle with the locals.
A famous local coffee shop and a landmark, popular restaurant are literally in our backyard!
