The master bedroom has a King bed, attached bathroom and smart TV. Second room has a queen bed with smart tv. The third room has a twin trundle bed and smart tv. This home is located in a prime location just a 5 minute walk to the popular Shakespeare Festival. With tons of boutiques, both local and well-known stores, antiques, parks, galleries, fabulous restaurants whether for happy hour or fine dining, bakeries, local micro brews and pubs, coffee shops... just about everything for an enjoyable visit to Ashland . The house is just blocks away from a convenient health conscious Co-op grocery store for everyday necessities and stocked with local fresh produce. Close to public transit makes this a great place to stay whether for work or fun!
Beautiful space and excellent location close to theatre, restaurants etc. The house lacked some basic supplies (e.g. coffee, salt, pepper, spare paper towels) for our week-long stay, but safeway was close to purchase those items.
Beautiful rental, with an excellent location if you are in Ashland to see plays. Home was well stocked, very clean, and a great fit for our small family. The location cannot be beat. Close to supermarket, downtown Ashland, and theaters. Owners extremely responsive and helpful. Wouldnât hesitate to recommend this place to our family and friends, itâs a great find!
This is our second year staying here for a girl's weekend! It's a great location and a cozy environment to have a chill morning before the plays. The host responded to our needs and we were very happy! We'll probably stay here next year too!
We have now stayed Amberâs place five or six times and each time it has been delightful. It is in a convenient location, the deck has a fabulous view, we always have a quick response for anything we need. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
This property was just perfect! Spacious and well appointed. Communication with owner was outstanding. Easy access to everything we wanted to do in Ashland. Would definitely recommend.
A wonderful condo that was very comfortable for a family of four. Just one block from downtown, we could enjoy all of Ashlandâs restaurants, shops, and Lithia Park without needing to drive.
The Double Bed Futon on the listing is inaccurate since the couch does not fold out. The property itself was great and perfect for our girl's weekend to see the plays! Within walking distance to the theatres. I liked how the bathrooms had the sinks separate from the toilet and shower room. Great for friends.
This is a great property with easy access to Ashland restaurants and activities. We have stayed in the area previously but discovered new areas including incredible hiking above Lithia Park.
The apartment was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The place easily accommodated the four of us (all women over 70). It was an easy walk to the plaza area where there are nice interesting shops, restaurants and theaters.Only gripe (and it is a minor one) is there is a corner of one of the throw rugs that curls up slightly and we were constantly catching our feet on it.
Excellent location for downtown Ashland. We walked everywhere! Lots of stairs to climb - we got all our steps in just walking up to the apt. and back down.
We loved everything about it as far as location.Walkability.
And convenience. Our only suggestions would be to Correct the area on the description that says double futon. We also had no kitchen towels. We very much enjoyed the morning sun at top of the stairway & the balcony for morning coffee & afternoon wine.
The only downside is the electronics. We couldnât get any current programming on the big TV in the front room. The internet is weak and the TV and our computers would go on and off. The house needs range extenders for the router. We were looking forward to NCAA basketball and the electronics were frustrating.
Nice little condo just off the south end of main street. 10 minute walk to theatres through the downtown. Also 5 minute walk to Safeway and 15 minute walk down to Railroad shops. This is a fairly new building and everything worked well. We had 5 people and the bedrooms were nice and spacious though it is a bit cozier in the living room. The mini-splits are great, they are quiet and kept things cool. The only reason I gave the check-in process a 4 was because we were supposed to get the entry code around one the day of arrival and when we got there at 5:30 we still hadn't gotten it and had to get in touch with Amber to get it. Otherwise communication was very clear and responsive. As others mention there are a flight and a half of stairs to get up, but no big deal. We easily got three cars into the parking spaces provided. We had a lovely visit and would easily stay here again.
We are all in our 70's and the stairs up to Unit B were daunting for several in our group. It was a lot of work and many trips to get our stuff into the unit. We also had some tripping issues with all some of the rugs, again because of age. We always prepare a lot of our meals in the houses we rent and this one was very sparse with plates, cups, bowel and glasses. It was a lovely house and very clean. We just found in not so senior and large group accommodating.
We attended 5 plays with Ashland Shakespeare and this was a great location. Just remember it is a second floor walkup with almost 2 flights of stairs. We hope to use it again in the future.
The property was "as advertised," although it took a bit of exploration to figure out the full sleeping capacity (i.e. sofa that made into a bed and trundle). Also, there did not appear to be sufficient linens (the teenager who slept on the sofa "borrowed" a pillow from my bed and used a fleece throw as a blanket; we couldn't find a pillow for the trundle so used a decorative one from a bed). And the air conditioner was not working on arrival; there was a "loaner" unit that did an adequate, but not great job. Apparently the a/c problem was not a new one - the owner advised that they were waiting for a part - so it would have been nice to be forewarned, especially temperatures outside were 90-100! Otherwise, we had everything we needed for a pleasant family getaway in a convenient location.
