Cette belle villa spacieuse et élégamment meublée avec piscine privée et jardin est idéalement placée pour des vacances reposantes. Étant proche des transports en commun, il est à proximité de toutes les principales attractions et de la vie animée que la Costa del Sol a à offrir. La villa convient aux grands groupes familiaux, aux sorties de golf et aux fêtes de cerf et de poule. L'ensemble de la propriété comprend la villa principale sur trois niveaux avec 6 chambres, deux salons / salles à manger et cuisine plus une maison attenante de 2 chambres avec son propre salon / salle à manger et cuisine. Il y a plusieurs terrasses offrant à la fois soleil et ombre. Le salon du rez-de-chaussée s'ouvre sur une terrasse pouvant accueillir confortablement plusieurs personnes, idéale pour dîner en plein air tandis que la chambre principale s'ouvre directement sur la terrasse au bord de la piscine. Il y a un grand parking pour plusieurs voitures dans les portes d'entrée et la villa dispose d'un système d'alarme de sécurité 24h / 24.

Great family villa

Well served property in a good location. Excellent swimming pool which helped on very hot days.The air conditioning needs upgrading. It works but is an antiquated system which in some rooms required euros to work.

Great space for family but needs TLC

Stunning views, lovely pool, and big communal spaces with plenty of room for everyone. There were 16 of us in the house and didn't feel on top of one another at all. Kids were well entertained with the toys in the basement lounge too. Drive is spacious enough for 4 cars. The beach was walkable but we drove everywhere or ubered. Benalmadena and nice beaches were only 10 mins away. Whilst the decor is dated the one thing it could really do with is a revamp of the bathrooms. In several there was no high holder for the shower heads, and the plug didn't properly block the bath so it didn't fill up. It must also be mentioned that the A/C is on a meter and this is not mentioned in the listing. Whilst the owner kindly topped up our allowance it was quite annoying having to think about monitoring it.Overall some lovely memories made whilst staying here.

We stayed over Christmas at the villa and it exceeded our expectations. Lots of room for our large family. We had an issue which the hosts tried to rectify, it was not their fault and they were brilliant. We would go back and we highly recommend this villa. Thank you for having us.

We’ve had an amazing stay. The villa has everything we needed. The views from the balcony are mental. Only thing, we couldn’t sleep in the extra rooms because of the heat, an AC would be nice

A fantastic villa in a great location.

The Villa is huge and has more than enough amenities for a week in the sun. The pool is great and the fantastic views make it even better. Great experience with the hosts also.

Great house and stay

We stayed one week in this beautiful and spacious house. We were three families and all of us were very happy with our stay. It`s clean and the surrounding areas are nice and quiet. So great that you can find beach towels available for the guests. Everything is just fantastic. A bit long walk to get to a supermarket, was the only drawback we can point out. We will for sure book this house next time we go.

Great communication with everyone, had a problem and was sorted straight away, villa was stunning and is in an amazing location in hills short walk to bus and easy access for taxis and train station 5 min walk away. Definitely recommend this stay

Gem of a property.

Fabulous villa so spacious accommodated 19 of us without getting under each others feet. Everything you need including toys for children, buggies parasols plus every cooking item you could wish for including plates, cups, glasses, cutlery and so much more.. Andrea on hand so helpful and views to die for. Would recommend hiring a car but if you want to literally stay put you'll have all you need.

Great stay at Benalmádena

Great stay at the villa in Benalmádena/Torremuelle. Nice, big bedrooms with own bathrooms. Aircondition is for 8 hours a day (you can pay ekstra if you want more, we didn't need it). Very well equipt kitchen and bbq area. Pool is clean and have good temperature. Lots of sunbeds and towels. Perfect house for big familes or friends, 3-5 parking spaces inside the gate. Very good service if you have questions. House is a bit old and it is approx 1 km to nearest supermarket and restaurant, 500 meters of the road are quite steep.

Amazing.

Just back from a long weekend in this beautiful villa. It had everything we could’ve wanted and the communication from Linda and Andrea was spot on. Only small thing to mention (as I have seen it on other reviews) was that the pool could’ve done with a clean. But it didn’t hinder our stay in anyway just would’ve taken it from a 10/10 to an 11/10!! Will 100% look to be back in the future.

Extended family summer holiday

A wonderful stay in this marvellous Villa, so large with wonderful facilities and great views. The wow factor was there for all to see. Cavajal and La Perla beaches were great and within easy reach and very family friendly, but less salubrious venues also within striking distance for those who wished. The old town up the hill was charming. Communication throughout was faultless and Andrea was always on hand if needed. Could do with some instructions for the oven and hob. Thanks for a great stay, all 18 of us thoroughly enjoyed it!

Fantastic isnt the right word for our stay, it blooming excellent. What a superb villa, we seriously couldnt have bettered it. We had a chef's bbq into Villa 1st night, Just the job for a relaxing 1st night. We had two nights in Narine for food, Jacks Smokehouse wasc1st class. Finished with a good pld Party in basement!! And last day lazy round Pool. This Villa has everything yoy could possibly need. It wasca shame hot tyb was not working, but we survied. Thanks Linda, hopefully rebook when next daughter sets a date.

Mixed experience

The villa is very attractive and the views are lovely. However the property needs renovation, the main kitchen is dated and difficult to prepare meals in. We were an older group and perhaps therefore we noticed the lack of maintenance. Problems with the showers, one bathroom had a bath with the shower not secured above it. The games room bannister was loose and dangerous. The staff we met were delightful and we felt they were doing their best. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Elegant villa in a stunning location

The villa is perfectly located for transferring from Malaga airport by train to Torremuelle station. Upon arriving at Chateau d'Illusion we were amazed at the scale of the building and grounds. Each bedroom was a large ensuite double, some with balcony access. The communal areas were very spacious and the TV/games room was great in the evening for playing table tennis or pool and serving drinks at the bar with the option of heading out of the patio doors to the garden or hot tub. Breakfast or dinner on one of the many balconies offers wonderful panoramic views down to the sea thanks to the commanding hillside location. Linda is an experienced and helpful host offering information and advice to ensure a comfortable stay. Since showing friends and family videos of the property it appears that there may be a queue to rent the property next year!

superb place to celebrate special anniversary

Thank you so much to Linda and Sue for making my mum and dads 50th wedding anniversary so special. Providing a fab cake and bubbly to celebrate - that was such a nice touch. The villa is perfect and all 14 of us would definitely recommend it to friends. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay from the pool to a huge hot tub. Plenty of beach towels and no fighting for sunbeds too! We all had our own bathrooms which a real bonus and air con too. The views from the balcony are just amazing. Make sure you hire a car to get food and drink supplies in from the huge CarreFour in Torremollinos - so much choice and cheap to. We ate most nights in the villa but did venture out to Benalmadena Pueblo - which is such a pretty village - very spanish - you must go , taxis only €6 and they come to the villa quickly. Great that you have free Wi Fi too kept our young members in touch on Facebook! Thanks again x

Birthday week

We were a group of 17 family and friends celebrating a big birthday. The villa was much more extensive than we imagined and with five family groups it was perfect across all ages. There is everything here you need day to day, loads of pool toys which was a bonus. The annex is accessed via the kitchen and laundry room with a comfy lounge beautiful balcony, small kitchen and two bedrooms and bathroom downstairs, completely away from the rest of the house. The basement garden lounge is huge with a pool/ping pong table, bar, bedroom wc and undercover terrace garden. The kitchen is small for the size of property the formal lounge which the young children spent time in leads out on to the terrace which has table and sets for 20 and leads around to the pool which was cold but everyone enjoyed it. The hallway is large with a sweeping staircase leading to a balconied landing with three ensuite bedrooms and two balconies. Off of the hallway are another two very generous ensuite bedrooms. The villa is 10 mins downhill walk downhill to an English supermarket Arkwright off of the main Road. There is a restaurant spanning the corner Lucena 11 which does the best food we had there. A bit further walk takes you to a nice beach with plenty of sunbeds. The old town is a hard uphill walk. We used Bolt taxi service which was very convenient and home food delivery proved much cheaper than getting a taxi to good size supermarket. The views, sunsets and sunrises were spectacular from the villa.

I was born in Spain and lived there with my parents until 1994. Thereafter, I moved to Ireland with my mother but I returned to Spain each summer to spend holidays in the villa with my father until he passed away in 2002. I am married and living in Ireland but one day I would like to return to live in Spain, in my family home Chateau d'Illusion.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My mother and father wanted to build their home in this area because it had beautiful views of the sea and mountains and because they loved Benalmadena Pueblo, the local village. The villa was designed and built by my parents and is furnished to their taste. I love the area as it is close to many of the main attractions on the Costa, but it's also a place to relax away from the summer crowds.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

My father built the villa for the family and so he paid a lot of attention to detail in its construction. The property is one of a kind with many lovely features and all rooms are extremely spacious.
There are several areas where one can relax and enjoy the sea and mountain views and terraces on three sides of the villa to be able to follow the sun throughout the whole day
The villa is also close to public transport.
