Enjoyed staying at The Barn, a charming house with a lot of room.
Kitchen is well equipped along with an outdoor grill for cooking. Great outdoor shower!
Beautiful flower garden along with perfect lawn in between the hedges for playing croquet.
Property is located in a central location with easy access to wineries and restaurants. The Barn is very private with plenty of property to roam around. The house was very clean and sleeping accommodations were comfortable. Our family would definitely go back to the Barn.
We loved staying at the barn! The house was perfect. Better than the pictures. The property is amazing. Beautiful big front lawn, seating areas out back and the screened in barn was awesome. Richard was great to work with. Always responded quickly to any questions and provided lots of information about the area. Also, the location was perfect. Walking to the farm stand every morning was heaven. Would book this property again in a heartbeat.
Our stay at the barn in Cutchogue was a quintessential North Fork experience.
Nestled between impressive hedgerow and fruit orchards, the barn offers peace & privacy, with views of natural fields hosting wildflowers, birds, rabbits and deer. Step outside at night to view the amazing display of stars on a clear night and be sure to relax with a book in the barn and enjoy cross breezes from its four screened walls.
The barn is walking distance to Wickham's farmstead & the Cutchogue diner. A short drive away are some of our favorite stops: 8 Hands Farm, Minnow restaurant (for weekend grilled lobster!), Love Lane and Brie & Rye (for a cocktail and pizza). We loved our time away at the barn... it is a wonderful and unique place that will stay with you.
This is an exceptional property, everything in the house and landscape simply but beautifully done. We had a peaceful month with just one or two guests at a time. Walk to key town amenities including beach and park within 1 mile. Only downside is proximity to Main Road, which is very busyâ even two rows of tall, thick hedges couldnât keep out the noise. Minor issue overall, though, we loved the barn, house, flower garden, and pastoral views, and the owner is friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!
Loved staying at the Barn while visiting friends on the North Fork. Photos are completely accurate. My only complaint is that the weather was cold and rainy keeping us from fully enjoying the amazing and varied outdoor spaces. I look forward to staying there again next year.
Four of us (ages 6 to 76) enjoyed the simple but comfortable accommodations while visiting local family that lived nearby. We enjoyed taking most of our showers outdoors, having "barn picnics" in the big screened in barn out back, and the convenience to the farm stand and grocery store. We would visit again.
Lovely change of pace from our life in suburbia! Everything was as described, the scent of the blossoming linden tree gave off such a heady fragrance as we went outside on the beautiful property. Was a very enjoyable re set in spite of bad weather the first week.
My family of 3 stayed at the barn for a few weeks this July and had the best time. The grounds are amazing- so well kept and such a nice break from city life! The house has been beautifully redone- it embraces the fact that it is a barn but has all the necessary updates of modern appliances. The host was so wonderful telling us about various town functions. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation and cannot wait to return!!!
We had a perfect romantic weekend at the barn. The setting is picturesque and is right from a photo shoot or movie. The entire property was beautifully restored, and both the kitchen and bathroom were excellent. Plus, there is a speaker system, laundry, robes, and the softest sheets. There is plenty of outdoor space to relax or play, and last but not least, there is an amazing old Ford truck on the grounds. It is in a very central North Fork location close to beaches and vineyards. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to the barn.
We have quite a few exclamation marks for Mr. Cifarelli's Cutchogue barn. Best VRBO property we rented in the past five years (and we've seen a few)! Best equipped kitchen (and that means something with a food writer in the family)! Beautifully restored with a great sense of style and details! Very welcoming and well-managed! Great location! And the outside bath-with-a-view inside the barn is a fun and smart addition! We could go on, but you might rather go see it for yourself!
Mr. Cifarelli transformed a 200-year-old piece of history into a modern country masterpiece. I couldn't think of a more inspiring setting in which to turn 52. I swiftly replenished amidst the many historical architectural elements, serene farm-like setting and wonderfully intimate and fun times I enjoyed with my friends there.
