This rustic, 1930 frame cottage, is the iconic gray clapboard little home with a front porch. Perfect for this elderly lady and my little dog. Back yard big with bulkhead on the cove; it neighbors a small marina of a some old boats. Big marina and On the Docks Grill is few blocks, across from Hubbard Farm Stand. Fun to watch boats. Once adapted to no disposal, dishwasher nor microwave, not hard, the daily routine for a month was charming. The bedrooms are off living room and new bath on first floor. Fancy washer /dryer in semi finished upstairs. Little but adorable home. Good bed and linens on bed. Lovely three street neighborhood, one block from bay. I hope to return one day.
My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint, rustic beach cabin. We had perfect weather which was a huge plus for enjoying the yard, the hammock and the swing. It was close to everything we needed as well as the places we wanted to visit.
Lovely week stay. Ad and pictures not clear that being on the water didnât have direct access to water from the property. Looks like a dock used to exist - would be much more useful rental if it were restored.
Original 1930's summer cottage. Handcrafted woodwork throughout, with original floor planking and other details. Dine in the yard with views on the water or in the comfort of the windowed dining room. Swing in the hammock and enjoy life.
