As advertised, this apartment was truly very close to the beach. Only a 5 minute walk away!The apartment itself is pretty spacious & thus perfect for two people. Everything was clean when we arrived: the bedsheets, the towels, the floor, etc. Although not equipped with AC, there was a big fan in the room which helped to keep it cool.Madame Christine is a wonderful host. She was quick to answer all our questions and showed us around the apartment upon our check-in. It was also very sweet of her to leave us a couple water bottles in the fridge!The only reason we give this a 4/5 is because we wish we couldâve had some basic cooking and cleaning essentials at our disposition, such as salt/pepper, oil, laundry detergent (there were some cleaning products next to the washing machine but we couldnât find a detergent), a bigger broom so that we could clean after ourselves, and tissues and paper towel. We also couldnât find the oven although the description said there was one (unless the microwave also served as an oven). Moreover, we think the toaster should be replaced as it seemed old and smelled like burnt plastic when we tried using it. Also, the towel hooks on the kitchen walls kept unsticking and falling down which quickly became quite annoying so they should definitely be glued better in place.
