L'unité 102 du Commodore Retreat est un condo d'une chambre avec des lits superposés pouvant accueillir 6 personnes. Chambre principale avec salle de bain accessible depuis la chambre ou le couloir, lits superposés dans le couloir. Cuisine complète. L'unité a également une laveuse et une sécheuse.

Cette unité loue à la semaine du samedi au samedi tout au long du printemps, de l'été et de l'automne. Ce condo accepte les locations mensuelles d'hiver.

Beautiful View!

We loved staying at Commodore’s Retreat! The condo was clean and comfortable. Having chairs and an umbrella set up and ready for us was so convenient as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Quick getaway

We have stayed at this condominium complex multiple times in different units. The rental offers a great view, beach access and complimentary beach chair setup which I always want when I vacation on 30A. Check in/out is easy as the door codes are provided prior to arrival. As with any beach location, parking is a challenge with a large vehicle. This is the first time we have been here during a peak period (spring break) where there was no parking available in the lot. This would not preclude me from returning, however it is just something to note if you have a large truck or SUV.

Beach break

Small older property directly on beautiful private beach. Condo was very clean, good quiet location right off 30A. I was glad to be on 1st floor since elevator was not working. Hopefully it will be repaired by my next visit as I definitely plan to return.

Beautiful Beaches

Best place on the beach. Everything close that we needed. A lot of construction in the area, but did not effect our stay. Just drive slowly past the workers! Only thing was no parking for persons visiting us, otherwise no complaints

Great location, unit needs updating

We absolutely love staying at Commodores Retreat, but we have had a mixed experience with units. The first unit we stayed in on the 3rd floor was in great shape, but this trip we stayed on the 1st floor and the unit needed renovating. The location here is amazing, and price is great, too! We love waking up to the beach just outside of our door and it makes it easy not having to lug everything to the beach. We can simply go back to the condo for food or drinks. Unfortunately, this unit was in need of cleaning and repair. Mainly, the bathroom was very moldy/mildewy and the walls were in need of washing. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant and we appreciated the communication by the rental company.

Nice beach front place

Great beach front property. Top bunk bed was very short. Mold issue in the bathroom should be addressed. Felt like not giving us trash bags was a bit cheap as most place provide those and would have like heads up. It was odd they also asked us directly via email if we want to view property for sale. Otherwise grwat place with amazing balcony. Parking was tight but good. Beach chairs and umbrella was nice.

Low key beach trip

Check and in and arrival was great. The condo was as described. Location is excellent! The area feels very safe and has a classic family beach town vibe. We realized on our second night that the washing machine was not working. We contacted the manager and it needed a new part. It was repaired 3 days later, the day before we were checking out. This was an inconvenience but the property manager made it right by giving us a partial refund! The condo and pool are a little dated but if you are looking for a reasonably priced small condo on the water in a beautiful location away from the crowds of Destin, this is the place for you! I would stay here again!

The condo was very clean. Great location. Walk to beach is fabulous. Plenty of towels. You could use more blankets for this time of year. The furniture is pathetic. It is worn, uncomfortable and very creaky with any movement. Balcony table is in horrible shape as well. Price is great but I would never rent this unit again, Because of furniture. This is my 3rd time renting in this building and I will again just not #102. Please replace your sofa & chairs.

Seagrove beach

I would not stay at this particular unit again as I felt it was not as up to date as others I’ve stayed in..and the items supplied were the bare minimum….i usually will buy items and then leave what I have leftover such as coffee, paper products, cleaning items, salt and pepper but not here because they supplied nothing! Had to have housekeeping come and program remotes because that was not ready, no extra blankets for pullout sofa…vacuum didn’t work, no water pressure, warm water not hot!!! I won’t go on…beautiful location and proximity to beach was perfect just not happy with the unit itself!

This place is exactly how it looks. The location is great with easy access to beach. Could have used a keurig but other than that everything we needed was there. You will have to bring all you spices including salt and pepper.

The View!

The View did not disappoint! Bed was comfortable and AC worked great. Having our chairs and umbrella waiting for us each morning was a great bonus. We plan to return!

We have been down here a few times. Love the location, quiet yet accessible, enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella. Having coffee on the balcony watching the dolphins play was relaxing. Already planning next trip. Thanks!

Great location but needs TLC!

This unit and the entire outside needs paint/caulk/deep cleaning. The outdoor patio has been upgraded from the photos. Location and beach service did not disappoint.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Secluded beach with not a lot of crowds, crystal clear water. Condo was perfect for our family. View from condo was unmatched and worth every penny. This condo is at the far end of 30a which is preferred instead of being in the crazy of all the traffic and spring breakers. We would definitely go back. We loved our stay!!!

This condo is located in a great area, a bit tucked away, on the ocean (great view) & very close to Eastern Lake. The area has a great friendly, low-key vibe. It is secure. People leave their shoes, umbrellas, toys on the boardwalk - it feels a bit old school. I would definitely stay there again!

Specific Condo/Unit Not Up To Par

The property itself was fine with great beach access, but the specific unit I was in was not up to par. It was not clean; did not have cable TV (or comparable); had several items that needed attention by maintenance; and was missing numerous things that you expect in a rental condo. Other guests told me about their units and it was apparent that not all were like the one I was in. I might try the complex again, but would ask specific questions before booking.

We arrived with it being 77 degrees in the condo. It took 8 hours to lower 1 degree. The manager said we weren’t aloud to go any lower than 70 Degrees. Every night it took until midnight or later to finally lower to 70. We weren’t aware when we booked that 70 was as low as we were aloud to put the air on. We sleep 67/68. 70 at the beach is hot. During the day it averaged 75. All day.
