(Entièrement mis à jour pour 2014 la saison)
Deux grandes terrasses surplombant la plage avant chien amical
Et un accès à la plage privée moins de 30 pieds de la propriété! Aussi grande cour arrière clôturée avec terrasse, douche extérieure, et de stationnement hors rue.

Les deux chambres du dernier étage ont des lits queen size et salles de bains privées. La chambre avant dispose également d'un balcon privé donnant sur la plage.
Un bas chambre escalier a deux perles jumeaux.
Avec salle de bain complète à travers le hall.

L'auberge de chien d'or est situé à trois miles dans les deux sens entre les deux villes sur l'île de hunier.

Quiet beach getaway

The house was clean and spacious. Huge main bedroom with a second floor balcony with a great view of the beach. Large beach with no crowds. Awesome spot for a laid back family vacation.

What a view!

There are a couple of things that weren't exactly right, (we didn't find the dishes for a day since they were left in the dishwasher.) but nothing that could take away at all from the overall setting. The host was also very cooperative when we found a broken table. He took care of it in a matter of just a few hours.

Great location

This house has a terrific view, beach access and the decks are both covered, which allowed us to sit in the shade at any point in the day and enjoy the ocean breeze. The beach in front of the house was not heavily populated during our stay (July 4th week). The house was clean and well-equipped and our host was responsive. We did a lot of our own food prep and the kitchen had what we needed.

So relaxing!

The Golden Dog Inn is in a perfect location with beautiful views of the ocean and an easy drive to both Surf City and Topsail Beach. The condo was very comfortable with everything that we needed (you do have to bring your own bedding and towels). The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. We loved being right across from the beach. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We highly recommend this property.

Exceptional Experience!

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. The home was well taken care of and had all of the modern conveniences that you would want. Everything was clean and well-kept. The view from each porch was perfect, especially in the morning. The location on the island was convenient to restaurants and shopping. I have been coming to topsail Island for 40 years and I have to say that this location was prime. The owners were very friendly and prompt with communication. Even though this property is dog friendly, you would never know because of the cleanliness. Loved our stay!

Great Family Vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Golden Dog Inn! We take an annual vacation with our mothers (mom and mother-in-law) and our pups. This one was the best! Rooms are spacious. View was amazing. Location couldn’t be better!

A Dog-Gone good time’

The photos don’t do justice to the house. Our two small dogs enjoyed the back yard and deck. The private beach entrance gate is directly across the street—if you forget beverages or dogs, it is maybe six minutes round trip from your beach umbrella to the house and back. The two oceanside decks offer beautiful views. The upper deck (on the third floor) has especially great views. Some comfortable deck furniture up there would really be nice. The captain’s chairs on the lower deck were great fun. Good kitchen. Very private. We had a good time. The dogs had a good time. A beautiful week.

Great house with a wonderful view!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious and very clean. We loved the view from the deck! It was very quiet and peaceful. It’s a short walk to beach and it always felt as if we were the only ones there. Our Corgi’s loved the fenced in back yard. It was nice just to let them out there without a leash. The check in and out process was very easy. John is a great host and communicates well! We plan on coming back!

Lovely place

We loved our first stay on Topsail Island. The house was clean and conveniently located. Gorgeous views of the ocean from two covered decks. The beach is particularly wide compared to OBX with not many people on it Our pup loved the fenced in backyard. The only drawback was the road noise, especially on the weekend. The kids and I didn't much mind it. Our pup did. All in all, a wonderful vacation.

Great Location

Can’t beat the location and proximity to the beach. Love that the unit has its own private dune crossing located directly in front of the unit. The pictures on the listing don’t do the place justice it is much more spacious and light filled than shown - we were pleasantly surprised! Will be back again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal, directly across from the beach and close to town. Joe is a wonderful host and very responsive to any questions or requests. We rented a tent and chairs from Sweet Dreams which were delivered right on time. Couldn't have been a more enjoyable week!

Wonderful Family Easter Break Getaway!

This is the perfect beach rental for a small family that's wants a dog friendly vacation! The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. I say home, because that's exactly how we felt renting from John. He was very friendly, prompt with communication and has added all the right touches to this property to make you feel at home. Perfect Escape

We had an incredible time at the Golden Dog Inn! The house is very clean and the views everything. The sunny deck off of the living room that provided shade and shelter from the wind when we needed it was our favorite spot. John was an excellent host and we were so grateful for the perfect, dog-friendly escape. Thank you again, John!

Fantastic vacation

We had a wonderful vacation! The house was so clean (and so spacious!), and both fur-baby and human-baby friendly (no breakable decor to worry about!). The kitchen included enough cookware for our needs. The garage made packing/unpacking so nice, and the fenced yard was great for our dog. FYI don’t bother bringing the beach cart/wagon- the beach is so close and there are a fair amount of steps on the private board walk down to the beach. John was a great host, as well. This was our first Topsail experience and we loved everything about it, except leaving!

Great Trip

We brought our dog and three kids and had a great time! House was incredibly clean and very spacious. Great access to the beach, which was very private, not a hotel in sight! This accommodation was not only very pet friendly, which is rare to find, but also did not show any signs of pet abuse or damage, which shows how great the owners are in keeping up with the place. The owners were available when we had questions, didn’t have to go through third parties. Can’t wait to stay again!
