Situé à 15 minutes du centre-ville de Chattanooga sur quatre acres avec piscine sur North Chickamauga Creek. Nous sommes en face du ruisseau de The Greeway Farm, qui est un parc de la ville de 180 acres sur North Chickamauga Creek. Le parc dispose de 6 miles de sentiers de marche, de course, de randonnée et de vélo. Il y a trois points d'accès au canot. Nous sommes à proximité des restaurants, des magasins, du canoë, de la pêche et des activités du centre-ville de Chattanooga. Il y a des terrains de golf dans la région. Vous êtes invités à utiliser les clubs de golf dans notre garage.
La maison est bien équipée. Master BR a un lit king, les invités ont un lit queen dans un et plein dans un autre. Le maître a le bain avec 2 vanités, douche. Le bain Jack & Jill pour les chambres a un combo baignoire / douche. La grande salle polyvalente (20x40) dispose de 2 lits de repos jumeaux avec gigognes. Il y a salle de bain avec douche hors salle polyvalente. Il y a des téléviseurs à écran plat dans toutes les chambres, un dans la tanière et un dans la salle polyvalente. Il y a un vélo elliptique dans une salle polyvalente et quelques poids légers Beaucoup de jeux, livres et certains DVD. Le WiFi est fourni. Grande buanderie avec laveuse / sécheuse neuve. La piscine est de 18x36.(la piscine est fermée du 1er octobre au 15 mai). Deux tables avec parasols, barbecue au charbon, chaises longues et autres meubles d'extérieur. Il y a un demi-bain hors porche grillagé près de la piscine. Serviettes de plage fournies. But de basket-ball sur l'allée. Vous pouvez descendre par la grange jusqu'au ruisseau Chickamauga. Vous pouvez apporter votre équipement pour pêcher ou mettre votre propre canoë ou kayak. Il y a de la place pour garer un bateau de 25 pieds dans l'allée si vous voulez profiter du lac Chickamauga ou participer à l'une des nombreuses compétitions de pêche. Il y a une petite terrasse donnant sur le ruisseau. Tout ce que vous devez apporter, ce sont vos vêtements et articles de toilette. Nous espérons que vous respectez et traitez notre maison comme la vôtre. N'oubliez pas de ne pas fumer et pas d'animaux. Nous vous demandons de ne pas laisser les enfants dans le garage. Il y a des produits chimiques pour la piscine dans le garage.

This was a fantastic place to end our day when we went for the 127 yard sale. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the pool was a great addition to a hot summer day! We would definitely go back!

We had a great time. Plenty of spaces to be together as group and just right for those who like to find a private spot. We sat on screened porch under fan and shade and we could still watch kids in the pool.

Girlfriends trip

This was our second stay and we will be back. The house allows plenty of areas for gathering in comfy furniture. The front room was our favorite as the huge windows overlooking the gorgeous magnolia tree and large yard was peaceful. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor area and ended up not even leaving to explore Chattanooga. Very relaxing trip !

Great place for bass boats

We really enjoyed our stay there. Shirley was an awesome host and answered all our questions in a timely matter before booking our stay. The house and sleeping arrangements was just what we needed for 6 guys and you could hold 7 easily. The big yard and driveway was perfect to hold 3 bass rigs in the driveway in front of the 3 car garage doors. If we fish Chickamauga again, we will come back to this house if available.

Lovely place

Loved the stay it was souch a nice place great location and I loved all the little things that the host took the time to do like the beach towels ready outside by the pool and the flats that my kids loved fully stocked kitchen the back fire pit was perfect for s'mores . The host was very helpful and even took the time to make sure we made it home alright.... I would recommend staying at this wonderful house

Great pool for the kids. Wonderful location, close to amenities!

The home is an older home with lots of room for everyone to spread out. The pool was great for our whole family, especially our grandchildren. The kitchen was well equipped. One room had a double bed that should be upgraded to a queen, as the mattress was not the most comfortable. And the home had a fair amount of breakables, so that should be considered when booking with children. The hostess was very nice. Checking in and out were very easy. The location was very close to lots of amenities; Children’s Museum, Aquarium, Chattanooga Choo-Choo, Car Museum, Clumpie’s ice cream shop, etc.

Great location and perfect for needs

We had a great stay in Hixson! We had 5 adults and 3 children (ages 3-7). The community room was perfect for a single mom and the kiddos. The gated pool was a plus since we did have younger ones, yet there was plenty of yard to play and run. The property was secluded and quiet. The house was nice and had anything and everything you would need. No need to pack pool towels! There are plenty of games and toys for the young kids. Distance to Chattanooga was only about 15 minutes and was easy access to the highway. If I had to change anything, I would add a garbage disposal and maybe update shower heads but those are not deal breakers for us. We would stay again and Sheryl was great host!

THE BEST

My wife and i use VRBO on a whenever we travel. In six years this is THE BEST property we have EVER stayed at. Seven kids and two adults had the time of our life. Kids chased lightening bugs and swam on this huge property, and we never even made it to the creek. Awesome location, home, and host. The only reason we gave them five stars is there is not an option to give more. Cant wait to come back

Our stay was wonderful. The house is extremely spacious and the backyard is big. Everything you need is in the house and available to use. The beds were extremely comfortable. We were able to spend time with family without worrying about anything.

Ideal rental for a family

Shirley was very responsive. The house is spacious and well stocked. Also very clean. The beds are comfortable. The property is very nice. The location is convenient. I would stay here again.

More than just like home

You can tell this is a home that was loved through the years. Lots of room to spread out or gather, everything you need but clothes & food plus features you will enjoy that you cannot find easily, e.g. private pool, screened porch, lots of cooking items. We would definitely rent again!

Family trip to Chattanooga

I met my mom and siblings in Chattanooga for a long weekend and the house was a great place to hang out. We had a great time playing in the pool. It's very quiet but close to anything you need.

Perfect house and great location

Our stay was fantastic and met the needs of our grandchildren ages 4 to 16, our two daughters and husband and I. The layout of the house allowed us room to spreadout and also spend wonderful time together. The pool was lovely and the boys loved fishing in the creek where they caught several kinds of fish and saw deer three different times. It was a great time.

Family retreat

If your looking for a place to stay with your family no need to look any further. We had plenty of space to hang as a family and plenty of space to be on our own. The home is equipped with everything we needed plus more. The outdoor space was just as lovely. Beautiful view, sitting area and a pool. The pool was perfect. The location is minutes away from the Tennessee Riverpark. The owners were very gracious, made sure everything was good when we checked in and checked out. Our family will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect place for holiday family gathering

This property is true to its pictures and description — we loved this house! Plenty of room for people to spread out, visit, eat and play games. Beds were VERY comfortable. Having 2 ovens and refrigerators was great since we were feeding (but not housing) 15 people. Shirley isn’t kidding when she says the kitchen is stocked with pretty much anything you would need. We used the crockpot for cider and a very nice roasting pan for the ham, and there was even an electric knife for carving it. There was a great assortment of baking dishes for our casseroles. Also plenty of eating and serving utensils. The enormous yard was perfect for after dinner strolls and the kids in our group loved climbing the gigantic magnolia. The house’s proximity to the North Chickamauga Creek Greenway is another bonus. We had a couple of delightful walks there. The entrance is a very short walk from the house, but Hamill Rd is busy with no shoulder, so we drove. Shirley was a very responsive and gracious host, quick to answer my texts and questions. Here are the few negatives we found: 1) the awning over the back door is probably very welcome during the hot summer, but in the winter it blocks your view of the woods and sunset. 2) It would be nice to have a game table in the multipurpose room. We brought a card table for working puzzles and placed it there, using the kitchen table for games. 3) The only reason I gave 4 stars for location was traffic noise. As mentioned above, Hamill Rd sees a lot of traffic, and Hwy 153 is also very close. The house is well back from the road, and the noise wasn’t disruptive. Perhaps it is quieter in the warm months when the trees are leafed out. 4) The ovens appear to be original to the house (which was pleasantly nostalgic for several of us) but they performed just fine. NONE of these issues were dealbreakers for us, and we would definitely stay here again.

We purchased this house in 1988 & have made many memories with our family & friends. It is very special to us. We now spend a lot of time visiting our children & grandchildren but don't want to sell Hamill. It is too special. We would like to share it with others & keep it for our grandchildren to enjoy.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We always wanted privacy but wanted close to everything plus I wanted a pool. We wanted one story so this house gave us everything.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Being able to walk out at night & see the sky and feel private. Also walking to the creek & sometimes seeing a beaver or otter. Watching all kinds of birds. Very tranquil but just a short ride to anything we might want to do
