We had a great stay for 7 adults (3 in late teens, early 20s). There are a lot of stairs, there are 4 floors, but we let one of the young ones take the bedroom on top floor. Very clean, provided everything we needed, and plenty of space. It's located in a more commercial/industrial area so there's not a lot super close to walk to, but it's less than 5 minute drive to plenty of restaurants. Also very convenient to tourist spots like Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls. Street parking would get filled up quickly in the evenings, but we were able to use the attached garage. Overall very pleased, thank you!
The property looks just like the photos. It was perfect for my family of four along with our friendsâ family of four. We had more than enough space and everything was clean. There are A LOT of stairs but I was prepared for it and liked that the bunk room was on the same floor as the primary bedroom/ensuite. The location was fantastic as well. Close to all the things we wanted to do including lookout mountain.
Great accommodations. Very clean and kitchen had everything we needed. Owner was very helpful and responsive. Parking was a bit challenging but it worked out. Lot of stairs but manageable - handrails were a bit loose. Overall, it was a great experience.
The bed linens on two beds were dirty (stains, hairs, etc) and did not appear to have been changed. The instructions at departure are to leave the bed linens on and apparently for us they were left on from the last renter. I contacted Vrbo about the problem and their response (incorrectly) was that they could not find my reservation or the property number in the system. I finally reached the property owner and she was quick to respond (bought new sheets). She sent the cleaning crew over the morning of the third day (they were 15-20 late and full of excuses and we did not have time in our schedule to let them clean. One bathroom floor and the stairs had not been cleaned. The bath towel bar in one bathroom fell off, there was only a KCup coffee option with mostly Decaf cups in the kitchen. We ended up buying our own kcups. Also, the batteries in the smoke detector failed and woke everyone up at 4;30 AM. Be aware there are lots of stairs and very limited parking with this property.
Great place located right next to a brewery. This area of Chattanooga is on its way up and is only a couple of miles from downtown. Very new, very clean and very accommodating. We had a great time.
Everything was exceptional. The host was absolutely amazing. Lots of stairs but everyone was spread out and not on top of each other. Would definitely book again.
Place was great. Location may be in a slightly underdeveloped area. The odd story brewery next door was great. Canât complain. Overall great experience.
Great location for a weekend in Chattanooga. We were there for the bike race and could ride to the start from the house. Close to the aquarium and science center. Right next door to a very popular brewery, but it closes at 10 pm so got quiet enough to not miss sleep. House was quiet even with activity outside.
This was a VERY nice place to stay for our large group. Tons of room and everyone had their own bathrooms, which was so nice. The host was great and very responsive. I would stay here again if I had a big group visiting Chattanooga.
It does seem to be an up and coming neighborhood. We walked to a place called southside pizza for dinner and it was fine, but I didn't feel super safe walking from the VRBO to the pizza place. The area around the VRBO was nice...it was just a few blocks over it wasn't as nice.
Communication was amazing!!!! The place itself isnât in the best area, but it was decent. Away frik downtown, but not too far. There is A LOT of construction going on. Building new condos etc. working directly outside the window. The place was beautiful and spacious.
My husband and I and two other couples stayed here for birthday celebration weekend and overall really loved our stay!
Pros: veryyyy clean and new, each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms, responsive host when we needed assistance, walkable to some good spots on the south side (including Oddstory right next door!).
Cons: itâs an âup and comingâ block of Chattanooga (not unsafe per se but just not very appealing to walk around besides for the brewery), difficult to find the unit initially because there are several buildings next to each other with similar numbering, SO many stairs (four floors with bedrooms on 1st, 3rd and 4th and kitchen/living on 2nd - be ready for the stairs), parking for three cars was a little tricky because the brewery customers use the street parking around the building (we moved our cars closer when the brewery was closed).
Even with the cons, we would stay here again because of how clean it was and that we could walk to a lot of favorite places.
It was decorated very well. I feel like the description on VRBO needs a little more detail. I didn't realize there were 4 floors. That was a bit much for some of our ladies. From looking at the pics I thought there were only 2 floors so it was a bit of a shock when we got there. Had to rearrange sleeping arrangements because some counted climb the stairs. The place was clean and nice. Could've used more towels, hand towels and wash cloths
2 sedentary grandparents, 4 active middle-agers, 2 grandkids in their 20âs plus one 11 year-old. Love the location near the brewery, which is family & has great food & drinks (plus live music Friday nights). Lots of construction, neighborhood is undergoing gentrification, and itâs fabulous to see! Quick drive to Lookout Mountain/ Ruby Falls. Walk to the sculpture park. View from upper deck is partially blocked by a large telephone pole, but it actually adds to the character of seeing the construction sites in the foreground, the interstate in the middle ground, and the mountains in the background. Grandparents found the living room comfy for watching the Braves games and reading.
Only negative is lack of dedicated parking lot/spots besides the one in the garage, but it was only a challenge in the evenings when people were visiting the brewery.
Would definitely stay again!
The property was very nice and close to everything. We were always a short drive from everywhere we wanted to eat as well as the UTC campus which was our reason for the visit. My calves are a little sore from all the stairs lol but it truly was a very nice home and a good location. What I have to really brag about was the fact that my daughter got sick on our last night there and we werenât sure we would be able to leave on time. The understanding and willingness of the property owner to help us with whatever we needed to get her well was not only kind but completely generous and very appreciated. Being away from home with a sick child can be overwhelming but she made it as smooth as possible and we were able to check out and get home with our sick little one with no added stress about making it out in time. I would recommend this home to anyone for all the other reasons but definitely for the kindness of the owner which you donât always receive.
We had such a blast. The house was so clean, beautifully decorated, and very convenient. There is a brewery next door that was our favorite spot! The host (Candice) was awesome - she has another property in Chattanooga too. We will plan to stay here on every visit to Chattanooga!
Had the best stay at this townhome. Great location, super clean, good communication& just the right amount amenities. Only downside is that the garage will not fit a large SUV. We will be back sans a big car.
