Spacious home surrounded by nature and wildlife on the edge of town. Huge kitchen with double oven, induction cooktop, ice-maker and dishwasher, island, hardwood floors, open floor plan, large dining area that seats 8+, massive living room with vaulted ceilings and fireplace. 3-4 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Additional sleeping area and ping pong, foosball, game room/family room on lower level. Attached garage and plenty of parking in the half-moon drive. 1.4 acre lot! Neighbors are quiet, but wildlife is wild. Often deer, elk, wild turkeys just passing through. You don't need to go on safari, the animals come to you. Outside has covered porch with lounge area and electric fireplace and wrap-around deck. So close to everything, but the feel of nature and mountains. Be sure to see all the stars at night, they light up the sky. The bike trail is just down the hill and takes you right into town or around Lake Estes where they rent boats. The 1980s/Liberace bathroom on the main level is a little dated, but it is large and roomy and full of character. Longer stays welcome, message for details.
We really enjoyed our stay. The property location is beautiful on the side of a mountain. It is "Colorado Vintage" with updated appliances in the kitchen which was really nice. Host was instantly responsive and so friendly and helpful.
Maria is very responsive and resolved issues with heating system quickly. It is a very dated house, but we made the best of it since we only came back to sleep. Area is super convenient to town so that helped.
Very spacious home in a lovely setting. Kitchen was well equipped, and the kids loved the foosball and pingping table. Communication with the host was excellent.
The property was located at the bottom of the mountain. There was abundant wildlife to see. Property was spacious with good views of the surrounding mountains from the many deck areas.
Wonderful location. Tucked away and very quiet. Large windows all around the home, great for viewing deer and wild turkeys. We saw a lot. Easy short drive to town. Had a very relaxing time. Maria was great to work with. Thank you for sharing your home.
We stayed 4 nights here. Maria was a great host. We arrived early in Denver and she allowed us to check in early. She was very responsive the entire stay. The home was spacious and clean. The home needs some updating in bathrooms and lighting but was still very functional for our stay. Itâs in a neighborhood with a lot of privacy and great views.
We had a wonderful stay in this spacious home. It was a perfect getaway for our family of eight reunion. Estes Park is beautiful in and of itself, but it also provided a quick entrance in RMNP where we spent most of the days hiking the park trails enjoying lakes, meadows, and waterfalls as well lots of wildlife. After hiking it was wonderful to have a kitchen to cook meals in and an amazingly large table that fit all eight of us so we could enjoy dinners together. In the evenings we played games; the foosball table was a favorite. I would definitely recommend this home for future guests.
In photos everything looks perfect BUT it is not like that ! This place was terrible , I leaved it one hour after arriving for the following issues: 1. Everything was dirty , dust in the beds , sofa , table, kitchen utensils! 2. The kitchen has a big hole to the first floor , no security or warning on that , VERY DANGEROUS for a
Kid!! 3. With a temperature of 104 degrees No air conditioning and the Fans do not work ! ( the answer to the host was I can give you a movie!!!) we must to go because the temperature of the house 4. A honeycomb was in the front door ( be careful if you have allergies) 5. The rooms has not light⊠I can continue with all of the incredible things that we see there that make us to leave the property at 6pm in the middle of the mountain that suppose be a great vacation , with kids , to try to find a safe place to be. Additionally the host donât refund the payment saying that is a small company and she can not !! So we need to pay double!!! I hope you read this before you make any reservation and help you to take a good decision and you donât lose your money and have a terrible vacation.
So close to the safety of town, across the street from the town limit, yet nestled in nature and wildlife. Gentle sloping lot allows for games of tag and badminton outside. Natural pond on the property is a draw for wildlife. Our road is below Kruger Rock mountain. Short walk to the bike trail that goes along the golf course through town. So close to lake Estes for kayak or paddle boat rental.
