Positives are that property management is very responsive, the view is beautiful, kitchen well appointed, and the heated pool is really nice. Drawback is that the property really needs some TLC. Several beds have issues (missing slats, wobbly due to missing screws), lower bathroom faucets drip/leak, main floor shower door cannot close, and doors that are hard to open/close (which was an issue for my kid).
The property was in a great location, plenty of room for all 8 of us to stay comfortably. Management was very responsive. Some maintenance and upkeep needs to be performed. There are light switches and plug ins that do not work, no AC on the bottom floor, patches of drywall that need to be finished.
We stayed here with our son, his wife, and our four grandkids, ages 4 - 16. The four rooms provided space and privacy for everyone. The little ones loved the bunk beds, and the teens got a lot of use out of the community pool! The pool and hot tub were well maintained and clean - very nice! The only tiny drawback was that there wasnât a big communal table where we could eat together. There is a table out on the deck, and a nice big breakfast bar that we used for meals. Otherwise, this was a terrific place for our families to vacation together. The location, an easy drive to downtown Estes Park, provides lots of options for shopping and dining.Favorite activities enjoyed by the kids were the Mustang Mountain Coaster (all ages loved this), and the Estes Park tram. We waited to go on the tram til a clear day, and weâre really glad we waited. The views are staggering! Our hosts were terrific - very responsive with very quick replies to questions.
It was perfect for our family get together. The kids absolutely loved the fort bunk beds. If there were neighbors we never heard or saw them. The directions to the place were misleading and difficult as Google doesnât take you directly there but rather to a place down the road so highly recommend arriving before dark. Karine was very helpful and patient on the phone as we tried to navigate there the first night. We would absolutely stay here again!
We enjoyed our visit here! The place was clean and had everything we needed for a great visit with family! The views are amazing and it was a quiet neighborhood close to town. We would stay here again!
Location was perfect. Everyone enjoyed having their own bedroom and bathroom. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was nice and appreciated the coffee pods. Easy to communicate with property manager.
Overall good place to stay but would have appreciated being told the view was obstructed by construction next door. Home needs some maintenance and updating but overall nice place
Karine was wonderful to work with and very accommodating and quick to respond to questions
We loved our stay! The Google/Apple maps address doesnât quite line up due to some construction but the owner was very responsive to help us find the condo.
The porches/view are incredible. For us, the location was perfect: itâs away from the busy part of Estes Park, 10 minutes to the center of town, 10 minutes to the RMNP entrance, 10 minutes to Longâs Peak/Chasm Lake Trailhead (and many others).
Amazing Mountain Views! Great beds, bathrooms, and kitchen space. Plentiful towels (including pool towels), toiletries, and kitchen items. Only negative was unsightly construction site next door that was the view for main patio and a bedroom. Also, detailed directions to actual unit would be helpful - very tricky to find, even for local food delivery drivers. Host was responsive.
This was a really nice place. Maybe just a little pricy. A $400 fee that I wasnât aware of added to the total. Read closely this is a condominium. No air conditioning in the bottom floor. We would stay here again even tho there were a few disappointments.
I would say our stay was just about perfect. We loved the location and the view was amazing. There are imperfections, but none of them diminished the quality of our stay.
1) The pool's a short walk away
2) The ice maker in the fridge is slow, and the dispenser doesn't work
3) It's tricky to find. I would recommend the host provide detailed directions in advance.
But those are super nitpicky and in no way diminished an amazing week in the mountains. I would go back again in a second.
Pros: Views and location were amazing. I don't think we could have found a place with a better view. The surrounding area was nice as well and the drive into Estes Park was quick and easy. The beds were also comfortable, and the condo was fairly clean. Maintenance responded quickly when smoke detector started beeping due to low battery.
Cons: The condo itself could use some work - there are things broken in every room - light switches and plugs that don't work, patches of dry wall that haven't been fixed, stained carpet, front door handle/lock is ajar and close to breaking. All minor issues but definitely makes the place feel run-down.
