The Neighborhood:
This property is just 2-3 miles away from the heart of Pacific Beach, which is a relaxed neighborhood by the beach, popular with sunbathers, surfers, locals, and vacationers alike! Any beachgoer flocks to Pacific Beach. Trendy hotel bars and casual cafes line the boardwalk, while Mission Boulevard and the surrounding streets are dotted with clothing boutiques, yoga studios and casual drinking spots that draw a fun bar-hopping crowd. Just next door, Mission Beach has one of the last remaining wooden rollercoaster at Belmont Park, so be sure to check that out! Slightly more inland, the grassy slope of Kate Sessions Park has sweeping views of the city and San Diego Bay. Of course you're super close to Seaworld and if you prefer the zoo, just about a 10 minute drive to there. Downtown, the convention center, and Petco Park are about 15 minutes away.
Getting Around:
Pacific Beach is a very walkable town! You can walk on the boardwalk and all the way to Mission Beach if you wanted to! I'd recommend driving from the home to get there through, and if you want to get to any other parts of San Diego it's best to drive or use Uber / Lyft.
Other Things to Note:
Pets are welcome with prior approval and additional $125 pet fee.
**No pets without prior written approval. If you're bringing a pet, you must follow airbnb's pet rules: dispose of all pet waste properly, never leave pet unattended in the home or backyard, and keep dogs leashed when walking them outside of the home.
For your safety we have a ring cameras at the front door and 3 ring cameras, all facing out in the front yard.
San Diego now requires all guests to sign a Good Neighbor Policy document prior to staying. We do enforce their policy so it must be signed in order to receive checkin info, but we will make it super easy for you to initial and sign :) It can all be done online.
