SUMMARY
Welcome to your very own bright & spacious vacation beach house (no shared walls!) located just 5 blocks to a white sandy surf/swim beach in Pacific Beach! This convenient single level coastal retreat features 3bd + Loft + Casita + 3.5ba & indoor/outdoor living at its finest with a front yard + expansive fully fenced rear yard with a bar, fire pit, BBQ, multiple seating areas, outdoor shower, & hot tub! Other highlights: washer/dryer, 2 parking spaces, beach gear, central A/C, 2 dogs ok. Maximum occupancy 15 (8 adults max).

INTERIOR
A fully gated front yard with lush landscaping will lead you to your main front door entry. Once inside you'll be greeted by a bright & spacious open floorplan main living area. The living room includes an oversized sofa, smart tv, hardwood floors, ceiling fan & beautiful folding accordion patio doors leading to your very own outdoor backyard oasis (see EXTERIOR below). Adjacent is a dining nook & a fully equipped gourmet chef's kitchen with modern quartz counters, custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, BBQ & patio access, & a pass-through-window to the outdoor bar… the perfect spot for enjoying your favorite beverage.

The East wing of the home houses 2 bedrooms including your private, oversized master retreat - complete with a King bed, ensuite bath & backyard access with a doggy door. The West wing features a bedroom ideal for kids that includes bunk bed & separate ladder leading to a fun loft space with additional sleeping arrangements. In addition there's a separate/detached casita located off the backyard complete with its own entry, queen bed, bath & kitchenette! See BED + BATH ARRANGEMENTS below for further detail…

EXTERIOR
An entertainer's delight, the fully enclosed backyard is the perfect gathering spot to enjoy morning coffee at the bar, daytime fun in the hot tub, afternoon picnic at the patio dining table, or evening stories with a glass of wine around the fire pit!

The outdoor deck includes an oversized stainless steel BBQ conveniently located near the kitchen, a seating area & bar with a pass-through window to the kitchen. A small set of stairs lead to a grass area with your very own hot tub & adjacent seating area around a fire pit. Further down the backyard is a dining table with outdoor lighting as well as access to the Casita with its own entry door & roll up door.

“Where the locals hang!” Our home is located in a beautiful family friendly area of North Pacific Beach. Just 5 blocks to a swim/surf-friendly ocean, white sandy beaches, and killer local eateries with everything from breakfast to dessert to after-hours cocktails!

Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and entertainment along Garnet Ave, Cass St & Turquoise St. Some of our favorite eateries include Java Earth Café (coffee & pastries!), Leilani's Hawaiian cuisine, Fig Tree Café (brunch!), The Fishery fine dining, Bareback Burger (grass fed meat!), & Second Nature bar/organic eatery to name a few. Also just a few blocks to Gelson's grocery market.
• Activities
Within walking distance of a Yoga Studio & Beach Yoga at Law St park, Enjoy kayaking or stand up paddle boarding, jogging/walking/biking up and down the Boardwalk that starts just a couple blocks from our house! Rent beach gear at Mission Beach Aquatic center, including sail boats, paddle boats, stand up paddle boards, and much more.
• Attractions
A quick walk to Garnet Ave & further along to Mission Beach, featuring more bars and entertainment + Belmont Park's big dipper coaster and all new Plunge pool. Other attractions include ~10min drive to Sea World, ~5min drive to La Jolla, over the hill is ~15min drive to the famous San Diego Zoo, and just ~20min drive to Downtown & the Airport. POLICIES & GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES
• Guest Requirements
Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30.
• Occupancy
Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both guests & visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight.

• Events

Parties, large gatherings or events of any kind, including but not limited to business retreats, bachelor(ette) parties or pre/post wedding celebrations, are not permitted onsite. This rental is not intended for gatherings of anyone except those who have paid to occupy the property.
• Noise
Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed.
• Combination Listings
Due to occupancy restrictions, larger groups looking to book multiple units must reserve a approved combination listing. No more than 1 combination listing can be reserved per stay.

Great property!

My family and I had a great stay here and would stay again. We had a great stay and our family had a great time. The house if big and has a lot of beds and would serve two families well. It was great being so close to a lot of shops and to the beach. Overall we had a great stay and really enjoyed ourselves. We would stay again!

Management Company

The home was great. My family and I found the home to be very relaxing.However, some of the features exterior features were shut off. Such as the vintage lights for Casita were shutdown, the firepit and fountain.The exterior lights on the side of the Casita were shut off. My nieces and my sister tripped on the spacers walking to and from the house to the Casitas.We were without hot water on the day before our check out. I called the emergency number and received a response six hours after our third call.The plumber arrived around 7:00 pm. Unfortunately, the plumber didn't have any experience with the tankless system.I was told we could use the house up the street. Which relied upon the occupants of the Opal St. house vacating on time and the cleaning crew completing the turn cleaning, was not practical. Especially due our need to make flights home scheduled on Friday morning.I requested a discount for the daily rate for the day. I never received a response.JFThank you.

So Cal Perfection

The property exceeded our expectations from comfort, location, cleanliness and style! Everyone had the best time from kids to adults. Kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked, plenty of towels for showers and the beach as well as ample beach chairs/toys and the bikes were a bonus!The only problem was the older kids had to "fight" for their turn to sleep in the casita! Can't wait to come back!!!

Overall Nice House

Overall the house was very nice and would have given 5 stars but our issue was with the management company. The house was very well stocked and they did the little extras to make it easy to stay for a long weekend. House was clean on arrival and location was great. We had asked management company for an earlier check in and they gave us an hour earlier, which we appreciated. One of the biggest reasons we picked this property was so that the kids could use the Hot tub since it was definitely chilly outside. Upon arrival the hot tub was barely warm and was dirty. The next day my husband emailed the management company and there was no response. I called and left a message the following day and still no response. We were able to figure out how to fix the heating issue with the hot tub but it was still dirty. I had texted the management company asking for a later check out, which they couldn’t do, and mentioned about the hot tub and lack of response. I was told that it was a weekend and we should have used the email or emergency number and that they would send someone out for before the next guests. I explained that we did use the email they told us to use and no response after that. Definitely was disappointing.

Wedding family trip

Our family had an amazing trip to California to attend my son’s wedding in La Jolla. We loved staring at this home. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood and close to beach/ restaurants and Trader Joe’s . We enjoyed the hot- tub and kitchen was well stocked . Would definitely come back again. It had ample space for our large family.

Great beach house

This was a fantastic house for a multigenerational family reunion. It was large enough for everyone to have their own space, but with a fantastic living room and amazing deck to gather. We took advantage of the hot tub and outdoor fire pit. The location is ideal-close to the beach and bay. The house is VERY well equipped and comfortable. I would highly recommend the house.

Family getaway

We stayed at this property in July 2023 and we were super impressed which is why we decided to come back in July 2024. When we stayed in 2023 we thought it was a great property but this time in 2024 we felt that it was even better. You could tell there was some fine tuning done to the property. We had two kids stay in the attic area, two adults in each of the rooms in the home and two young adults in the garage room and there was still space for more!! We brought our small dog this time and we loved how secure everything was for her. The details down to the towels and toilet paper were all taken care of! It’s less than a mile walk to the pier and many restaurants. Everything we needed and more. Pacific Beach is one of our favorite places. We plan to be back!

Home is well equipped and fun for all. Grandkids loved the fire pit and hot tub. Walking distance to beach, stores and good. Great time was had by all.

PB Paradise Stay

This house is perfect for a quiet getaway with family!! The jacuzzi, fire pit, and open floor plan was so nice and a quick walk to the beach was super easy to do. Would come back and highly recommend!

Amazing house - Great location, walking distance from the beach

This house is awesome! It was extremely clean upon our arrival. It also had every amenity with lots of great outdoor space. The Surf Style Team did a great job meeting our every need during our stay. If you're looking for a place in Pacific Beach - pick this one! 5 Stars!
