Beautiful home, terrible management
We arrived to a dog in the backyard (not a service dog- a yorkie with bows) and immediately reported it. The guests took the dog upstairs but continued to leave its poop in the yard and the pool deck. It was reported with zero remedy. The home was advertised as having a pullout in the living room. It did not. It has a tiny twin trundle in the guest room under the bunk. The house was advertised with pool and jacuzzi spa. Spa didnât work.. upstairs neighbor had failed to report it (probably bc she had a dog onsite) and I reported it immediately Friday night. It took until Sunday at lunch to get someone out to fix it. We checked out Monday at 6am. Useless amenity that we paid for. The air conditioner never got colder than 76 degrees. All doors stayed closed. The a/c completely stopped working on Saturday evening and it took until Sunday around lunch to get someone out to fix it.. by that time we had spent a night at 82 degrees inside with 80+% humidity. Cleaning was done shoddily. There was soiled childrenâs pants in a guest drawer and a smear of what I hope wasnât poop on the wall of the guest room. The wall by the bathroom sink had a mixture of what looked like snot and blood- nosebleed style, that had flecks remaining. 3 bathtowels for a 6 guest reservation. No sort of oven safe pan, sheet, or casserole dish⊠we had planned to have biscuits with breakfast and I had to fry them on the stove bc nothing was oven safe. I even checked IN the oven and underneath in the broiler rack. The dishwasher after 1 cycle just had standing water in the bottom. I ran 2 cycles each time to get it to drain. Obviously the filter or plumbing hasnât been cleared. There was a broom, mop, and swiffer, but no dustpan, bucket, or pads, so I just swept the house into a continuous pile on the floor by the trashcan. I had to put in multiple requests and had to start to be a jerk via the text service to finally get attention to the a/c and spa. After threatening to go down to the local office personally- I finally saw service people but only received ONE SINGLE PHONECALL from one of the local management members- Saturday around 4 to tell me the pool guy would be by âwithin an hour or first thing in the morningâ⊠I NEVER received a call about the air conditioning and kept updating via the text hotline incessantly. I sent pictures of all the issues as well via text so there was 100% proof and still couldnât get anyone to take our issues seriously. I really wanted to love this home. Itâs beautiful, perfectly sized- the decor is calming and relaxing. The pool and jacuzzi, if working properly, wouldâve been the highlight for us. We loved the quiet neighborhood. All the potential in the world if the management team actually cared about the property and responding to issues in a timely manner.
