Oubliez la copropriété stérile et isolée: ce chalet de plage récemment rénové, spacieux et confortable est garanti pour vous faire sentir comme chez vous! Avec 4 chambres et 4 salles de bain complètes, il y a assez de place pour toute la famille, tandis que deux cuisines entièrement équipées, deux salons et deux salles à manger signifient que vous aurez toujours un endroit pour passer du temps ensemble. Il y a même une cafetière pour quand vous avez besoin d'un petit coup de pouce pour vous rendre à la plage (qui est à moins de 5 minutes à pied de votre porte!), plus la télévision par câble et le wifi les jours où vous avez besoin de vacances pour vos vacances.

Si vous avez envie de sortir, il y a de bonnes nouvelles! Vous n'êtes qu'à quelques minutes des supermarchés, des magasins et des magasins, des bars et des restaurants, dont beaucoup sont à distance de marche. Vous n'aurez pas besoin d'une laverie, car vous avez accès à une laveuse et une sécheuse dans le garage.

Même lorsque vous voulez simplement rester, nous avons ce qu'il vous faut. Dans votre propre arrière-cour, vous aurez accès à un superbe coin salon extérieur couvert. We enjoyed our stay at The Kingfish Cottage. The house was as described; the location perfect! Mostly walkable, we enjoyed our strolls to restaurants, shops and grocery stores. There are definitely updated that could be made, but a great stay for the cost. Owner was super responsive to our questions and concerns! A huge thanks for that! Wild totally recommend this place!

Check-in was a breeze, having 2 well-stocked kitchens was a plus for our group and no problems with Wi-Fi. We loved the backyard and parking plus easy beach access.

We had a wonderful visit at the Kingfish Cottage! Yes this is an older home vs some of the newer homes, but the walk to the beach is perfect, the home is spacious and perfect for a family or group, and overall we had an amazing Labor Day weekend! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful home. We fit three families comfortably. The showers were phenomenal, especially after being in sand all day. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessities to cook all the meals during the stay. It was walking distance to the beach! Great vacation.

Spacious and accommodating. It has everything you need inside and out. If you cant find upstairs, check the garage... there's extra everything...towels,washcloths, pillows, blankets, etc...Plus, there's beach stuff and bikes. Wonderful host!

Great Location

We had a great time for the second year in row plenty of room for our family. The unit was clean and plenty of linens, the girls really liked the two washers and dryers in the wash room. Easy beach access right down the street. We will book this unit again.

Much needed getaway.

This place was PERFECT for us. Great location. The house was exactly what we needed. If we didn’t have it, it was there. Grocery store and coffee right around the corner. Beach close by. It was cozy and homey. Already planning another trip and will use this place again.

Fun in the Sun!

This property was spacious & only a short walk to the beach. Any issue was quickly addressed by the contact. We did encounter a bathsuit.bottom left on the shower rod, but disposed of it & went along with our stay. Overall i would recommend this property to a yone!

The house is comfortable but old and need some maintenance on some areas, in our last night stay the heat broke down, Kristin our guest tray to fix it but she was unable to do it because it was in the first of January (holiday), in general we spend a good family time.

We of course strive to give you the best possible experience at the Kingfish Cottage, and we are very sorry that your stay was not 100% perfect. As noted in your review, our HVAC system stopped working in certain parts of the house. We are very grateful to you for making us immediately aware of the issue, and for staying in constant communication with us as we attempted to fix the problem as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, as mentioned earlier, it was impossible to find anyone to repair the system on New Year's Day. The system was of course repaired as soon as possible and has been returned to peak working condition. We are very glad that the heat worked well enough in the rest of the house that you were able to stay comfortable, and that you didn't feel the need to accept the space heaters we offered to purchase for you. We sincerely hope that you will return to stay with us again so we can fix our past mistakes and give you the perfect vacation you deserve! To that end, we would like to offer you a 10% discount off your nightly rate for your next visit at the Kingfish Cottage. Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Dishwasher wasn't attached to the cabinet and falls out. Wooden slat on top buckbed fell out. But the booking of the property was excellent and the property location was excellent. Will be back

Hi Melody, we're so glad that you enjoyed your vacation! Thank you for letting us know that the dishwasher moves a bit, we will get that fixed for your next stay. The bunkbeds are very secure and the slats will only move or come out if you're trying to take them out, which I don't recommend doing.

Spring Break Trip

Location of property was great! Super close to the beach and walkable distance from majority of bars and restaurants. The provided beach items and extra amenities were extremely helpful with our stay. We really enjoyed the large amount of space to hang out and get some rest. The kitchens weee also helpful for cooking meals. Communication with host was excellent. Any minor inconvenience was taken care of or addressed in a timely manner. Only issues we ran into were small inconveniences with cleanliness but was no issue to take care of. We would stay here again!

Great for families

We had a wonderful stay! We traveled with our two littles, and great news, the master closet and bathroom can each fit a pack n play! Woohoo! So if you are needing a darker space for your little one to sleep for naps , the closets are bigger than they look in the photos :) The host was very responsive , we had a question about the AC and she sent someone over asap, really appreciated how quick it was addressed. The location is perfect and walking distance to the beach, she has all the beach toys, chairs , umbrellas etc that you could want to borrow ready to be used in the garage! Also had a wagon that was really handy for taking strolls with our little guy in . The pantry and kitchen was well stocked, all the cookware and serving dishes you could need plus lots of spices too. Really enjoyed our stay !

Needs maintenance / deep clean

The cleaning crew did the best they could, but the house is very run down. Faucets are barely attached to the wall, the dishwasher doesn’t work, floor tiles are crunchy/cracking/over cut/uneven. The whole house needs to be touched up and deep cleaned. Lacking attention to detail. We would not stay again.

Hi, we're David and Kristin DeGroot! We're a father-daughter team who has been in business together for almost 20 years. After some major remodeling, the Kingfish Cottage is becoming what we hoped it would be -- a place to rest and recharge!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We love this house because of the location. The cottage interior is cozy and spacious, perfect for large groups of friends or family!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The front porch provides a great place to take it easy while you take in the world. You can just see the ocean in the distance, and closer in, the folks walking to the beach provide people-watching entertainment.

On the summer weekends, the porch provides a great view of the Friday and Saturday fireworks.

SPI is one of the premier kite-boarding sites in the world, with enthusiasts coming from as far as Hawaii(!) for the exceptional beaches and the Laguna Madre.

It's also, obviously, one of the best sport and saltwater fishing destinations in Texas. You can go deep-sea fishing for about $1800, fish the Laguna Madre for redfish, trout, and flounder for about $350, or fish off the jetty or in the surf.
