The house was large, kitchen lovely. Unfortunately, our stay was plagued with issues that Vacasa refused to addressed. Upon arrival, the glass top to the coffee table was cracked in two with shards present. We called Vacasa, and after a lengthy hold we were told to clean it ourselves and a local team would address the problem (they did not follow up). We then found the downstairs bathroom was unusable, smelling strongly of feces and urine. Even with the door shut, the smell leaked throughout the entire downstairs.
The wifi did not work during our entire stay, despite following all of the troubleshooting advice on the Vacasa website. When these two issues were brought to their attention, we were told a local team was dispatched, though no one contacted us or showed. The final straw when going to bed the first night- the master bed sheets were used, with hairs present throughout the fitted sheet. At 11 pm we scrambled to find a flat sheet that was clean and fit the bed.
Any of these problems could be addressed and still haven’t been by Vacasa. Problems happen and no stay will be perfect, but the lack of customer service in attempting to resolve of compensate for the lack of promised amenities is extremely disappointing. At this point, I do not recommend renting from a Vacasa property. I will update if this situation is rectified.
