Nouvelle location. À 5 minutes à pied de Long Sands Beach sur une route privée (près de l'hôtel Anchorage). Beaucoup d'activités amusantes à York. La maison a 5 chambres à coucher, 2 salles de bain et beaucoup d'espace de vie. A deux ponts extérieurs, une juste à côté des deux chambres au deuxième étage, plus un joli patio avec barbecue à gaz. Parking pour 3 voitures. Pas d'animaux et non fumeur. Pas de climatisation mais des ventilateurs de plafond dans toutes les pièces, l'endroit reste frais. Location disponible mi juin-août; minimum de 7 jours et mai / oct / nov 3 nuits minimum. Disponible de mai à novembre.

The house was located in an ideal location. A five minute walk to Long Sands Beach was perfect for our family. Many restaurants are located near by. The home was comfortable and well equipped.

This beautiful beach house has it all!! A short walk to the ocean, great quiet neighborhood, and all the essentials you need for a relaxing vacation. Plenty of space. We will absolutely be back!

Absolutely perfect!

The house is great and has everything you could possibly need for a few days at the beach.Christine was a great host, communication was great, check in process extremely easy. We left everything clean and got our cleaning deposit fee back without any troublemWould highly recommend and would definitely want to come back!

Family reunion

We travelled to York to visit a cousin living in the area. The house was perfect for us Very easy to walk to the beach or local restaurants. Plenty of inside & outside seating for us to gather & catch up. Hosts were accessible and attentive. We hope to return!

Great location & communication

Great spot with close proximity to everything nearby. Christine was very communicative and kept in touch through the entire stay. Cleaning fee not included in the original booking but we were given the opportunity to leave the unit as clean as we found it to avoid any extra charges. The property provided everything you would need for a stay by the beach.

Great Location

The house was very comfortable and the location was awesome Christine had great communication and everything was a breeze. We had 5 adults and there was plenty of room. I would not recommend more than 6 adults because the other two bedrooms had twin beds but if you were staying with kids this would be perfect. Just remember that there are only 2 bathrooms but that’s the case with a lot of the homes in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

York Beach Family Fun

Christine’s beautiful beach home was the perfect home base for our 3 generations as we relaxed on our annual family vacation. All ten of us enjoyed playing games, watching movies, cooking meals and making memories when we weren’t playing in the sand, splashing in the waves or eating lobster. Her home had everything we needed…5 cozy bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower, a well equipped kitchen and laundry and comfortable living space. Christine’s home was family friendly- tastefully decorated and outfitted with beach toys, kid movies, a wide range of games and books, providing plenty of entertainment for the 4 grandchildren (ages 4-13) without the parents and grandparents needing to worry about breakable furnishings. It was a short 5 minute walk to the beach and great restaurants. We wish there was more time to enjoy the outdoor grill, but we were too busy eating lobster and admiring the gorgeous flowers surrounding the home. Prior to our visit Christine promptly answered all our questions and provided lists and brochures of local restaurants snd attractions. If we’re ever back in York Beach we’ll definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay

Location was perfect in a quiet area just a few minutes walk to the beach. House had everything we needed with lots of communal spaces as well as plenty of rooms for napping for the little ones. Thank you!

Nice hideaway

We had a delightful stay! The house is conveniently located near the beach, making it easily accessible by foot. The neighborhood is remarkably peaceful. There are an ample number of pots and pans, making cooking a home-style meal easy. The floor plan is ideal for families, allowing all members to sleep close by.

Long Sands Home

Excellent home with lots of room for our extended family to have a reunion. The owner Christine was very quick to answer any questions I had before and during the stay. I even forgot something in the home and she agreed to mail it to me. Thank you Christine!

Fantastic location & Cozy Well-Loved Home

We had an amazing time during our stay in York. Christine was incredibly responsive and made sure we knew everything we needed to know about the house and even York in general. The house is great for a large family - we went with my in-laws and we never felt on top of each-other. The porch is a wonderful additional living area. The beach was a 10-minute walk and so convenient to get to every day via a private path. Our only "complaint" (if you could even call it that), is the lack of a professional cleaning service between guests. It is up to the guests to clean for the next family and this meant we had to do some cleaning when we arrived for sanitary purposes (bathrooms) and it took the entire morning of our last day (check-out) to clean to the required standards. It is worth noting, this was NOT a surprise as it was made clear in the contract before hand. If you are willing to do your own cleaning potentially in the beginning (depending on the quality of cleaning from the people before you) and end of your trip, go for it! Even so, we absolutely would recommend this property to any family looking for a place to stay in York close to the beach and large enough for a big family! Kudos to the hosts.

Expectations Exceeded...

I've been visiting York Beach for many many years with my kids starting out camping and now via house rentals. Finding Christine & David's home was just perfect for our family of adult children able to visit during the week as time permitted. The house itself was perfectly set up to allow full family interaction and also some quiet time as needed. The location and short walk to the beach couldn't have been better or easier. I will look to book this place for future years to come. Christine was a wonderful host and I would certainly recommend her rental as a great option for your stay at York Beach. Family Vacation

Wonderful spot for our family R&R vacation ! Plenty of space for both kids and adults to hang out separately and together. Easy 5 minute walk to beach. Both adults and kids enjoyed boogie boarding on perfect waves ! Hope we have an opportunity for another stay ☺️

Very accessible

This house was great for a multi-generational family vacation. 1st floor bedroom with bathroom access for grandparents, good bedroom setups upstairs, big kitchen for prepping meals and plenty of open space for toddlers. Looking forward to booking again!

Annual June vaca

The house was very clean and easy to find everything! The towels on the bed with the shell on them was a nice touch. It was so welcoming! The book was a great help, too! The welcome sign and little snacks was very sweet to greet us. It was a very short walk to Long Sands which was great! The decks and porch were perfect to sit abd relax or enjoy a meal at. Ideal Family Vacation Rental

Christine’s place was just perfect for our young family. We had an excellent week at long sands and this beautiful home served as the ideal home away from home for us. Christine was very communicative and an excellent host. She even left some treats for the kids and bubbles for them to play with. We were a 5 min walk to the beautiful beach, where we did lots of walks and played all day. Plenty of space for all of us and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the three season porch, spent a lot of time out there enjoying the private backyard. Thank you Christine! We will be back for sure.

Well-located and cozy place for a reunion of friends

From the lovely upstairs back patio we could hear the waves from the beach! The house was convenient to all of the places we wanted to visit, and well-furnished with everything we needed.

Great House in a Great Spot

This was our first time in Maine and we had a great time! The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and a 7 year old. Don’t let the picture of the outside fool you. There were more bedrooms then we even needed and a lovely all season room. The house and location were wonderful as was Christine. She checked in with us to make sure everything was ok and the added goodies were such a nice surprise! She made checking in and out so easy. Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful beach house!
