Perfect getaway

The house was so charming and the views of the ocean was spectacular! The porch, overlooking the ocean was my favorite place for watching the birds and dolphins.

Great stay at the beach

Charming house at the beach with great rooms and a very nice outdoor area. We were two families and the setup worked great for us. The kitchen and living room is beautiful and the proximity to the beach is wonderful. Would definitely visit again.

Spot on with description. Great spot, plan to return when we have more than 3 days. It was just myself and my fiancee, however plenty of room, could accommodate many!

Great, relaxed beach week

After years of going to Ocean City we were looking for a change. This part of Sandbridge is such a welcome change -- relaxed, uncrowded, and friendly. The property is right on the beach w/ a direct connection to the dunes crossing. Great size for 2 couples with 4 total kids. Bigger than the pictures suggest. Could it be updated a little? Sure...but then it would probably be more expensive. I'll take that tradeoff :)

This is a second review because I guess I have to leave another one to see how they reviewed me as a guest? Great views, not the cleanest upon arrival, they did not allow me to pick up a load of laundry I left in the washer (said something within an hour or so), then they “couldn’t find said load of laundry”. Regardless of that annoying fact I got beautiful wedding photos and I’d do it all over again for the same result.

Terrible! We checked out early due to a variety of issues. The place was filthy. Dead bugs everywhere even cockroaches in kitchens. Roof leaked during a rain storm. The rug was grossly stained. Showers had mold in them. A/C unit in kitchen was Mickey moused to vent thru a window. Pee all around toilets. See pics. DO NOT WASTE your money like I did!

We loved the location and beach access/views. The deck is really nice, except it needed to be repaired. It was totally disconnected at one spot which would have let someone fall off over the side. When we arrived, maintenance man, Brian, asked to come inside and take pictures of the mattresses for another future prospective guest, which was weird. The HVAC system is failing and there's a lot of moisture seeping out of the vents, mold in the bathrooms from said issues and the tub in one of the bathrooms felt as though it might be on a rotting wood floor and could collapse. The tile on the sink, in that same bathroom wasn't installed correctly and is collapsing on itself. The drawers in the bedroom are broken and unusable. The clear plastic chair in the kitchen broke when my husband sat on it and could have seriously cut and injured him. Oh, and there are roaches. Really big ones. The carpet is stained too. We had a nice time to spite these issues, but this house needs serious repairs.

This was our second stay , we had a great time ocean view great. Was few things probably needs updated car part had some spots , the shower for after ocean down under building water very hard turn off think it needs updated. The stair needs a gate up top . Maybe some TVs in the main bedrooms really like watching TV before I go over to sleep. And remind the housekeeper when we got there the door was unlocked. New toaster would help too. Maybe umbrellas for the out door table. The elderly sometimes can’t walk to the beach and would like to have a sunny spot. Thank you for a nice day hope to come visit soon again.. Frye family

Quiet retreat right on the beach access

The house has a great layout especially if splitting between two families, each side of the house has a kids room and a master styled room with a bathroom between those two. The living space furniture was quite comfortable and clean. It is a very lovely space. Ignore the baby gate in the panoramic photo I am sharing, as that was brought by us.The neighborhood is very quiet, the beach access is entirely sand and not the concrete planked ones of lower on the strip, which isn't an issue just something to be aware of. My only complaint has more to do with the property management than the house itself. The change water filter light was on the fridge and when we drank it before noticing it was quite awful almost plasticky tasting. We called the management team to let them know and they said they would send someone out to fix it. We called on Friday and checked out Monday and no one ever came by. We made due by buying water but not ideal.

Nice property with great views

Overall this property is nice. It is an older home with charm but also with general wear and age being by the ocean. The property could use a sprucing up and the kitchen ware is older. There is a musty smell but it is not over powering and expected with the age of the home and its location. My critical feedback is on the management side of our vacation. The company only offers one complimentary toilet paper roll, garbage bag, and paper towel roll, so if you plan to stay longer be prepared to buy your own supplies. This I feel should be increased as competitive properties often provide more especially with larger groups renting for longer periods of time. I was however, able to reach customer service fairly quickly which was a plus. Overall I would recommend this property as its proximity to the beach, multiple bedrooms and large space were great for my family of 7 (2 adults / 5 children).

Beautiful views

We rented this house for the views and they did not disappoint! Funky, fun furnishings added to the charm. Those are the parts to focus on. Wifi support 3+ people working. The not so great, the home could use some TLC, organization in the kitchen, and deep cleaning.

Nice house inside. Nice outside shower, Lower floor was hot and not ventilated. We did not use it. Kitchen could have been cleaner when we arrived. Cabinets not clean outside, Vacuum did not work very well. Dishwasher ran but did not clean very well.
