Spend your next vacation relaxing on Mission Bay at Cohasset Getaway Unit #3! Located in the heart of South Mission Beach, this condo is bay-front and elevated on the second level of a condo building. There are panoramic views of the bay and a refreshing beach breeze throughout.

The condo was recently updated with a comfortable floor plan. The living room has comfortable furniture, a flatscreen TV, and bay views, the perfect recipe for a delicious vacation! The dining area and kitchen sit next to the living room, the dining area can sit up to six people. The condo's kitchen is fully equipped and updated so all you have to pack is your favorite foods to cook and enjoy! If grilling out is more your thing, the home also has a barbecue on the patio near the kitchen. Enjoy views of the bay while you grill.

THINGS TO KNOW
Please note that a neighboring home is currently under construction. Working hours are Monday through Saturday 7 am - 6 pm. There will be no inconvenience, however, noise may be heard during your stay.

Great location, OK accomodations

I'm giving this 4 stars because the location was great--it was wonderful to be so close to the water. Plus, the 2 designated garage spots were a boon in such a busy area. The apartment itself was wanting-- it had the necessities (although the only coffeemaker was a Keurig) but the unit is bit worse for wear, and in need of some repairs and updating. All in all a good stay, but keep expectations about the condition of the unit low.

Great Location

Great location & size for a quick family vacation
 no tv’s in the 2 rooms was a bummer for the kids but the beach toys made up for it. It’s a rental and it shows but overall it worked for us. The neighbors dogs bark a lot but they are kept inside at night. Property is in need of a fresh coat of paint, working lightbulbs and an Iron. The patio is very small can sit 2 people but the furniture provided is not comfortable. The kitchen was great and loved having laundry available, everything is in walking distance. Nothing fancy but met our needs.

Family Friendly

Cohasset Getaway is well situated on the Bayside Walk - perfect for strollers, scooters, skateboarding, and rollerblading. The beach was just outside our door and unit was well stocked with chairs, toys, and an umbrella - all put to good use.

Great stay with family

Our family (4 adults, 2 young children) stayed during 4th of July week. You can't beat the location- the beach is at your doorstep with the Pacific a 5 minute walk across the street. Plenty of room and great amenities (including beach umbrellas, chairs and sand toys). I was worried about not having A/C, but we were never hot. Great jumping off point for a fun vacation- the San Diego Zoo, La Jolla, Old Town San Diego, Torrey Pines, and the USS Midway are all a short drive away. We even hit Disneyland (about a 90-minute drive). The Wi-Fi was super spotty.

Everything was perfect! This property is beyond 5-star's. My family and I enjoyed our stay here, we didn't want to leave. Communication was good, we had no issues at all. Convenient garage parking with no fee. They were stocked on towels, beach toys for kids, beach towels...etc... Overall we will be back again, we're just in love with this property.

Beach vacation

Very comfortable condo overlooking interesting bay with lots of activity in the area. Can walk to the ocean side in a few blocks. Great mattresses. Very clean. 1 neighbor in adjacent yard has 4 small barking dogs but otherwise perfect. We would come again. Beach chairs, towels and toys were a bonus.

Beautiful views

The code to get into the front door was long and each time I made an error I had to start over which was difficult with a toddler lol. I connected with the “help team” to figure out the Wi-Fi and we were unsuccessful. Although YouTube was available on the tv we weren’t able to watch movies/shows. The location was very beautiful however I had a xl suv and it was too large to fit in the garage. I parked at the beach which is a half mile walk. The home/location is very beautiful but I don’t recommend if you have a large car and a toddler.

Beautiful and comfortable

The place was clean. Beautiful views. The parking situation was not ideal given we have a truck. We were unable to fit in the underground parking which was extremely low entrance. Would be nice to get suggested options for those without a tiny car. The place had great amenities, the beach chairs and towels were great. Would be nice to have a few extra towels and perhaps saran wrap, baggies, tin foil....but not a big deal. Thank you!!

Convenient and roomy

Our flights changed and I had my elderly parents with us. We arrived at the property much earlier than planned. I messaged the property manager and never received a reply about getting into the property early. I then was in touch with someone via the confirmation text—they refused to let us use the property early so we sat outside for over two hours while the property was ready and cleaned and nobody was there. This was pretty inflexible and inconvenient. The property was spacious and the living area was really comfortable. It was very dusty and could use a deep cleaning. Great location.

Essentials, View, Cute and Close

Entry door in master is a bit strange - directions weren’t super great as to which stairwell from garage was best to use and using the stairwell closest to garage door (which leads to master bedroom door) it was hard to tell which unit was correct because it wasn’t marked. But living room bayside view is nice to wake up to and relax next to. Kitchen has most essentials (missing some pot and pan lids so had to make do with plates). Coded entry felt safe but doors don’t shut easy so had to make sure they were closed. Also no light on balcony (electric candle didn’t work).

Great stay

Aside from couple of minor things, the stay was great. The check in process was smooth however the unit wasn’t labeled with the unit number, so we didn’t know which unit it was. After trial & error, we figured it out. Cleanliness- overall it was good, but there was a bath towel that had hair all over it. I emailed the property manager and he simple said that he would let the cleaning crew know. It want a huge deal because they have a washer dryer in the unit, so I washed the towels. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The view was fantastic and the unit was spacious. The location was walking distance to many restaurants. Overall we had a great time and would def go back! Thank you!!

Just the two of us: Mid September 1) No air conditioning (but fans were provided). It was the tail of the hurricane, so exceptionally hot for San Diego. The bay is beautiful. 2) The airplane noise cannot be understated as the planes leave Lindberg Field airport every 15 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. They are taking off, so on full power directly overhead. 3) The security on all doors and garage was good, but the locks needed improvement to see the numbers. Vacasa provided the wrong garage code initially, so that was frustrating. 4) The construction project next door is almost completed (only interior finish work) so there was no noise from that project. 5) Everything in the interior worked properly. We could have had better instructions on finding the light and fan in the master bedroom. It is hidden in the cabinet on the back wall. 6) Unit 3 front door has 2 keypads. You should indicate that the digital one ON the door is the correct one. 7) Overall, Unit 3 was comfortable when the minor frustrations were addressed. 7) Garage parking was adequate, but we were given the wrong code in our first instructions. The keypad should be replaced as the code had to be entered a few times to open. 8) The master bedroom window on the north side (left window) needs adjustment. It is ready to fall out of the frame. This is a safety issue. 9) Vacasa is easily accessible by text. 10) We are San Diego natives, so we thoroughly enjoyed being back in our hometown! No doubt you will not want to post this, but you should address the issues stated before your next guests arrive. Thanks!
