Unité rénovée en 2018. Sur le sable avec vue à 180 degrés de l'eau! 2 balcons. Nouvellement rénové en 2018 !! À San Diego, il est rare de trouver un climatiseur à la plage, mais nous avons deux climatiseurs portables refroidissant chacun entre 300 et 400 pi2. Sur la baie tranquille une plage juste en face de vous et surfer à quelques pas de là. 2 vélos inclus. C’est la retraite de vacances idéale, située dans la magnifique et relaxante Sail Bay / Mission Bay, sur la plage, à pied des restaurants, des boutiques et de la vie nocturne à proximité. Situé directement sur la promenade, vous pouvez marcher ou faire du vélo facilement partout dans Pacific Beach ou Mission Beach. Nous offrons 2 vélos situés dans le garage. Nous avons également des serviettes de plage et des chaises incluses. 0

Ce n'est pas votre location typique de beachy chic. Nous sommes fiers de notre unité et l'avons meublée avec des meubles confortables et modernes. Nous avons même un espace de bureau dans le condo, donc vous avez juste à accrocher votre ordinateur portable et pouvez travailler à partir de la plage, si vous avez besoin. Les salles de bains et la cuisine ont toutes été récemment refaites. La cuisine de comptoir de quartz est entièrement équipée avec tous les ustensiles, et les accessoires de mélangeur, grille-pain, cafetière, cuiseur à riz, etc aiment griller sur le balcon tout en regardant les promenades en jet ski ou avoir un dîner romantique aux chandelles sur le balcon lumières du soir sur la baie.

Du yoga sur les planches de paddle à la voile dans la baie ... tout est dans votre cour avant. Marcher deux blocs pour surfer sur le côté de la plage pour des couchers de soleil incroyables. Sans fil gratuit, câble complet, trois téléviseurs et un DVD pour quand vous ne voulez pas être en déplacement.

Une rareté sur la plage, notre unité dispose de 2 places de stationnement désignées avec beaucoup de rangement supplémentaire pour tous vos jouets de plage. En outre, il y a un grand parking public à proximité, ce qui facilite la circulation des voitures ou des visiteurs. L'unité n'a pas l'air central mais à San Diego qui en a besoin? Nos journées très chaudes se produisent en juillet et généralement quelques jours dans le mois. Pour cet événement inhabituel, nous avons deux unités de refroidissement d'air portatives. Chaque unité refroidit environ 350-400 pieds carrés.

Nice place to stay

Location is great to be around the quiet bay. The walk to Mission Beach is only a couple minutes and there are plenty of places around for food and rental shops. Rad was the best for boards and wetsuits. It was nice to have a garage to park the mini-van. the spot outside of the garage will fit a smaller car.

Nice Place

Highly recommend this place. Furnished well, clean, great location within walking distance to coffe shops, restaurants, and both the bay and ocean sides of Mission Beach. Parking is right, but we were able to fit a Ford Explorer in the space. Only side note is that the listing did say “gym” but there wasn’t one. But overall, would definitely stay here again. Owner was very nice and responsive to any questions.

Exactly what we wanted!

Location was perfect! We love the Bay side, and the view from condo was a bonus! Condo was clean, comfortable, and met all of our needs. We walked everywhere! Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location, A/C is misleading, Odd Insurance Claim

Location is excellent - clean, accessible, with convenient parking. Modern, well-equipped furnishings. Easy walks to both bay and ocean beaches. Nearby amenities include restaurants, bars, bakery, and coffee shop within 3-4 minutes. We enjoyed watching our children play on the calm bay beach from the patio. Parents should note access requires going through the apartment complex, which means there’s some delay if you had a true emergency. We had a few odd issues though. First, AC relies on two portable units, rather than mini-splits or central air. These require partially open sliding glass doors for ventilation tubes and the units were really really loud. In August heat, bedrooms remained in the low 70s overnight. This likely would be less of an issue other times of the year. Secondly, listing includes a garage, but access is limited. We had a designated parking space and were allowed to store bikes in the garage. However, with the owner's car present which meant it was as easy to bring our bikes as we hoped. Finally, after our first shower, we reported a pre-existing shower drain backup. We reported it and it was addressed quickly, but an insurance claim was filed and we got dinged unfairly for it.

Fantastic Location, Apartment and Host

The apartment was amazing, the space was beautifully designed, lots of space, clean and tidy. The views over the bay were gorgeous and our favourite was the 3 minute walk to the beach - the sunsets at mission beach really are something else. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans and the beds were very comfy. Nice and quite on an evening. Such a great place to explore the Mission bay/beach area.

Great location could be perfect with a few tweaks.

The condo is in a great location on a quiet bay a couple of blocks from the Pacific. The boardwalk is great for exercising whether walking, running or cycling. Much less congested than the Pacific side. There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance and many of San Diego’s top tourist attractions are within a 15 minute drive. The condo was well equipped. The only things that keep it from being perfect are the parking which is tight on an alley, a Toyota Forerunner, which we rented is a little too long, and the lock boxes to get a key for the building were somewhat confusing to use until you figure them out. Also, the AC is done with portable units that need to be put at the sliding doors to use which were needed in August and the washer and dryer are coin units on the property whereas most VRBO’s where they are noted are in the unit and part of the rental. All of this is noted in the details provided but can be misleading in a casual reading of what is included. We enjoyed the property and would rent again if going to the area.

Our family of 4 had an amazing week in this condo. Plenty of space for everyone and a great view from the balcony. Plenty of great eats in walking distance and the perfect beach spot a two minute walk away. Condo is comfy, clean and enjoyable!

Great Experience (with a side note)

All the good things about the property in other reviews are true. It is a lovely property with a great location. We had a small hiccup at check-in, but the property manager was quick to handle it. Be sure to heed warnings about parking space. We had a large vehicle and needed to keep it at the nearby lot. We saw no ladder for the bunk bed, which was an issue for us. However, a stowaway bed in the closet worked quite well. We experienced a bit of trouble locking the door. Again, the property manager was quick to respond. Finally, both bathrooms are on the 3rd floor with the bedrooms. There is not one on the floor with kitchen/living areas. These are just some little things that we thought might be helpful to know in advance, but in no way created a negative experience during our stay. Note: AFTERWARD, we received a text about a “nasty sink” and sand in the master bath shower, followed with “hopefully your insurance will cover.” We were flabbergasted. We had never had an issue in a rental before. We questioned their claims and were met with “what is wrong with you and how do you sleep at night?” and that we should be apologizing and “stay home in the future and not destroy other people’s property with negligence.” We asked specifically whom we were speaking to and asked them to “most kindly provide the bill.” They responded with “I am the owner of our home that you wrecked. Good Bye.” Again, just something that may be helpful to know in advance.

Fantastic rental on Mission Beach

This rental was perfect for our spring break get away! Located right on the beach - walking distance to shops and restaurants. Easy access to the Zoo, Seaworld and Downtown. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had everything we needed! Thank you for a relaxing and fun vacation

Bay Stay 2024

Our 2nd March stay @ this same VRBO location. Probably could use a replacement ceiling light in main shower room otherwise all else in excellent working order including WIFI. This VRBO has excellent outdoor parking for width & length for our 2015 Toyota Highlander. Parking outside could even accommodate a vehicle ~3 inches longer. Beds very comfortable. Bay views excellent with balcony to sit and read as well. Many restaurants & coffee shops are walking distance. With location right on the bay expect just a couple blocks walk to the ocean side. We seemed to hit the bay @ time of perfect weather. If one likes to walk, the bay walk is just a few steps away. Kayak and small boat rentals are walking distance away. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location in Mission Beach

Property was just the perfect location for my family of 4; Minutes from the beach by foot, close to all the things we wanted to do, quiet and super clean. We had one issue with a loose toilet and it was fixed immediately. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area. Book this rental and you won’t be disappointed.

New Year stay

Clean, well kept up property on the bay side. Good location with easy access to San Diego attractions and restaurants. When the storm came in, the Oceanside was very windy, but the bay was relatively calm. But you’re still with in easy walking distance to the Oceanside Beaches.

Great Host!

Fantastic location. Great host. Terrific stay. I rented this place for my daughter and her college roommate. They just told me yesterday there were ants in the kitchen during their entire stay, but I’m sure the host would’ve taken care of that had they told me then. Otherwise, their stay was terrific. Everything was within walking distance. They did say all the blinds were not able to keep the sunlight out extremely early in the morning, but that’s not really a big deal either. We would rent this property again.

We are currently Florida residents and beaches are our passion. Both of us grew up in Southern California and missed the beaches and the California vibe. Our daughter and her family live here and we decided that we would like to spend part of the year here enjoying the them and San Diego.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Mission Bay or as some call it Sail Bay is so much tranquil than the beach side. You can still be in the middle of all the action on the beach side which is a two minute walk, but if you want to get away from all the activity and find some peace and relaxation then the bay side is for you. The property has been renovated recently and is right on the boardwalk with unobstructed views of the bay. Another very important amenity is parking. One space right under the property is for tenants of the property. Parking spaces are very rare in the beach area. There is ample parking including overnight ( free ) at the Santa Clara lot a 5 minute walk away.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love the bay side of Mission Beach because it is more tranquil and quiet than the beach side. It is amazing to be able to enjoy both the beach and tranquility of the bay. Watch the bike riders on the boardwalk and the sail boats sail by as you seat in your bay front balcony. We hope you will love it as much as we do!
