Dirty Unit and Owner Nightmare!!
We arrived Saturday night July 13th around 9 pm and the unit clearly had not been cleaned. There were bits of food on the kitchen floor, some liquid in the fridge, food stuck on the stove top, hair and sand in the bathroom floor around the toilet, strands of hair on the bathroom countertop and that was just the downstairs. When we got upstairs there was a dirty wash cloth in the hall way and crackers on the carpet. More hair in the tub and countertops also. The towels were stained and still wet and the bed sheets were also dirty. We called Zac and he seemed concerned and said he was going to take care of it but that he was out of town. Nothing was going to get done that night and we weren't sleeping in dirty beds so we stayed in a hotel. I was expecting a call from Zac but by 10:30am Sunday he hadn't called. So I called him 16 times and he finally called me back at 1:45 pm only after I texted him that I wanted a refund. I told him I wasn't happy. He said he was only 5 minutes away and agreed to meet me at the property. When I got to the unit I called him to tell him I was there and he told me to send him pictures. I said I thought he was going to meet me there and he told me "he wasn't a f%$#ing hotel with f%#$ing front desk service". He was the one that told me to meet him there! He said it was a nice unit and that we were just being difficult and should he get all new stuff at Amazon. I told him we didn't need new stuff we just wanted a clean unit. He asked me if he should go to f%#$%ng Tijuana and get cleaners. I said they didn't need to be from Tijuana. Then he said that we just didn't want to stay there. We just drove 7 hours and didn't have any other options. He then asked me if I was even American? What that means I don't know, American or not nobody wants to sleep in a dirty bed or pay $700/night for a dirty place. We were willing to work with him but he wasn't getting cleaners for Sunday and after the way he talked to me I told him I just wanted my money back. He said " take me to f%#$%ng court" and he hung up on me. He texted me saying the owner of the cleaning company was there but nobody was there and we waited until around 5pm Sunday night and realized nobody was showing up. By a miracle we found other accommodations and salvaged some vacation. I have yet to get a refund and have a case with VRBO. Based on the condition of the unit and the way we were treated I would stay away from this property.Beware
A graduation weekend to remember!
We felt very relaxed, comfortable and at home on a 4 day stay to celebrate our son's college graduation weekend. This feels like a home!

Great location; close to beach, boardwalk, restaurants. Our neighbor was great as well. Will definitely return. Although it would be nice to have the house updated a bit, it was do-able. The washer/dryer was a plus.
