Check-in was easy and the hosts are extremly friendly and responsive and really go out of their way to accommodate. The two bedroom apartment is big and comfortable and even has a great deck and outdoor table.
The Overlook Hideaway is a lovely retreat located very close to town and yet with the feeling of being a quiet sanctuary. The cookware was abundant and I was able to prepare my family's favorite foods to take to our Thanksgiving gathering. The gas oven roasted the best Brussels sprouts ever! Jim and Stephanie are the best hosts, extremely responsive to every question within minutes. We felt at-home and cared for by our hosts. The decor is pleasing and the towels and sheets are soft and cozy. We look forward to returning to the Hideaway another time!
It was very clean and exactly what the photos show. My sister and I felt very safe staying in this home by ourselves, especially since it was our first time to Portland. I recommend this home if you're looking to stay in Portland!

Came for just a few short days in Portland for a wedding and this home is perfect! Two large bedrooms, with comfy beds, and the colors and decor are so cute! Definitely a cute and simple vibe, with everything you need: coffee, clean towels and great communication and direction from the hosts! I even left a necklace behind and the host reached out to send it to me - so sweet! Definitely worth the stay!!
