We had a wonderful stay for a long weekend. Property is close to downtown Boone, and everything was as advertised. We would definitely stay here again.
Great place with a lot of character! Very cozy with a great view. Only issues were some cobwebs, large black ants in a couple rooms and outdoor chairs that hadnât been cleaned in a while. Definitely would rent again!
Beautiful property and ideal layout for our family Thanksgiving. And those Mountain viewsâspectacular! Loved waking up to sunrise over the mountains.
We all agreeâwe will be back.
We had a great quiet family time away with our fur child included. The location was perfect for us. We wanted remote from the town life but close enough to shop/visit. I would recommend bringing groceries so some meals are eaten at the house especially if you are not a regular mountain driver. (after dark) Grilling on the back deck with the mountain views are fantastic. The roads to the house are not for the faint of heart but a wonderful experience. We would definitely rent this house again.
Beautiful view of Grandfather Mountain. Cabin was spacious but had a rustic feel with modern amenities. Loved the sunroom with morning coffee and open view of the mountains. Enjoyed our stay very much!
We enjoyed our quick trip to the NC mountains. The place was a welcoming retreat with a lovely vista. Easy access to all points of interest in the area. We enjoyed the dog yard and the nice amenities. Beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. We will return on our next trip to the area.
The house was amazing as were the views! Plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors and family. If you go in the winter bring some extra blankets. Kitchen was small but accommodating. It has a great outdoor area for pets. We did have an issue with our heat but the rental company was very accommodating and professional.
Loved this cabin. Awesome views, very comfortable bedrooms, nicely stocked with all we needed. Great location, and great sledding options if you are snowed in!
Cabin was very convenient to Boone, Sugar and Blowing Rock. It was very clean and we loved turning the fire on every morning. The views off the back deck were gorgeous and we loved the rustic feel of the home. FYI...While there was no snow on the ground when we were there, the driveway would require a 4wd in winter months.
This was the perfect mountain cabin! It was somewhat rustic yet very comfortable. It had a warm and cozy feeling, but was actually spacious and well laid out. The kitchen was well stocked, the linens supplied were luxurious - not thin and cheap, there was ample hot water with great water pressure, lots of windows with gorgeous views (fall time) of Grandfather Mountain, the gas logs added to the warm and cozy feeling, and the location was perfect! Added bonus was that we were able to bring our dog and he was in Heaven! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
